To drive efficiently total water pollution load management, needs to calculate the exact load emissions, pollution load allocation and implementation evaluation in each unit area of watershed and accurate and regular flow of data. For these reasons, the Nakdong River TMDL Research Center has produced directly or indirectly in the average interval of eight days (30 times or more / year) 41 points for unit area of the total water pollution load management and 8-point of municipal requirement for a total of 49 branches as a flow data in 2004 from August. This acquired the survey flow is evidence of trends and changes each point in the Nakdong River based on time, such as 10 years based on average design flow available to the foundation of the summit as the major water policy is to be utilized. This study was performed on actual discharge measuring data and introduced performance results each drainage basin of Nakdong River from 2004 to 2008 over the total of past five years.
The purpose of this study is to prevent the stick, scuffing, scratch between piston and cylinder, is to contribute the piston design such as piston profile, clearance by calculating reaction force by over-lap of piston skirt, as measuring the temperature distributions of cylinder wall. The experiment has been peformed to obtain data during actual engine operation. Temperature gradient in peripheral and axial distributions of cylinder wall according to torque and speed of engine were measured by use of an 800cc class gasoline engine. The results obtained are summarized as follows ; 1) The temperature of cylinder wall at TDC was about $50{\sim}75^{\circ}C$ higher than temperature of cooling water. 2) The rear side temperature of top dead center was $141^{\circ}C$(1/4 load) in axial distribution, whereas the rear side of midway position temperature was $98^{\circ}C$. 3) The temperature of cylinder wall increased in according to rising temperature of cooling water. 4) The thrust side temperature of cylinder wall was about $15^{\circ}C$ in all load test. 5) The rear side temperature of top dead center was $159^{\circ}C$ (1/2 load) in peripheral distribution, it was about $39^{\circ}C$ higher than thrust side temperature.
This paper presents the results of a set of wind tunnel tests carried out to examine wind-induced overall structural loads on rectangular medium-rise buildings. Emphasis was directed towards torsion and its correlation with peak shear forces in transverse and longitudinal directions. Two building models with the same horizontal dimensions but different gabled-roof angles ($0^{\circ}C$ and $45^{\circ}C$) were tested at different full-scale equivalent eave heights (20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 m) in open terrain exposure for all wind directions (every $15^{\circ}C$). Wind-induced pressures were integrated over building surfaces and results were obtained for along-wind force, across-wind force, and torsional moment. Maximum wind force component was given along with the other simultaneously-observed wind force components normalized by the overall peak. The study found that for flat-roofed buildings maximum torsion for winds in transverse direction is associated with 80% of the overall shear force perpendicular to the longer horizontal building dimension; and 45% of the maximum shear occurs perpendicular to the smaller horizontal building dimension. Comparison of the wind tunnel results with current torsion provisions in the American wind standard, the Canadian and European wind codes demonstrate significant discrepancies. Suggested load combination factors were introduced aiming at an adequate evaluation of wind load effects on rectangular medium-rise buildings.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is a finite element analysis of supporting bone according to custom abutment angle. Methods: Implant fixture was selected with a diameter of 4 mm and the length of 13 mm. The fixture and abutment was designed by a combination of the abutment screw clamping force to produce a custom abutment model of $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $25^{\circ}$ and $35^{\circ}$. The loading condition of 176 N was applied to the lingual surface of the crown, near to the incisor edge, and horizontal load. An oblique load of $90^{\circ}$ was applied long axis of the implant fixture analyze the stress of supporting bone. Results: The result of mechanical analysis was observed that the supporting bone stress analysis of the horizontal load, the von Mises stress values (MPa) are given in the order of TH00 (432.6) > TH25 (418.0) > TH15 (417.4) > TH35 (415.8), the oblique load, the von Mises stress values are given in the order of TO00 (459.3) > TO15 (399.6) > TO25 (374.8) > TO35 (343.4) Conclusion: The $35^{\circ}$ abutment over the current clinical tolerance limits will be available for clinical application.

An experimental evaluation of crack propagation and post-cracking behavior in steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams, using full-field displacements obtained from the digital image correlation technique is presented. Surface displacements and strains during the fracture test of notched SFRC beams with volume fractions ($V_f$) of steel fibers equal to 0.5 and 0.75% are analyzed. An analysis procedure for determining the crack opening width over the depth of the beam during crack propagation in the flexure test is presented. The crack opening width is established as a function of the crack tip opening displacement and the residual flexural strength of SFRC beams. The softening in the post-peak load response is associated with the rapid surface crack propagation for small increases in crack tip opening displacement. The load recovery in the flexural response of SFRC is associated with a hinge-type behavior in the beam. For the stress gradient produced by flexure, the hinge is established before load recovery is initiated. The resistance provided by the fibers to the opening of the hinge produces the load recovery in the flexural response.
Power systems must be operated within limits that will ensure adequate generation and transmission capacity to avoid cascading. In developing a set of operations limits, it is important to do so within a general framework in order to ensure that the operating objectives are met. In the this regard, when the system experiences a generation-load imbalance, the principles of sound operation will be maintained by bringing under control an unscheduled power flow condition as quickly as possible. This paper presents load shedding application which responds both to frequency and to rate of change of frequency. Its application is in the operating situation of load suddenly in excess of generation, either because of generator or other equipment failure. A scheme which is able to utilize rate of change of frequency as well as frequency itself is an improvement over existing scheme.

The equivalent frame method (EFM) is widely used for the design of two-way reinforced concrete slab structures, and current design codes of practice permit the application of the EFM in analyzing the flat plate slab structures under gravity and lateral loads. The EFM was, however, originally developed for the flat plate structures subjected to gravity load, which is not suitable for lateral loading case. Therefore, this study, the first part of series research paper, proposed the structural analysis method for the flat plate slab structures under the combined gravity and lateral loads, which is named as the unified equivalent frame method (UEFM). In the proposed method, some portion of rotation induced in the torsional member is distributed to the flexibility of the equivalent columns, and the remaining portion is contributed to that of the equivalent slabs. In the consecutive companion paper, the proposed UEFM is verified by comparing with test results of multi-span flat plate structures. Also, a simplified nonlinear push-over analysis method is proposed, and verified by comparing to test results.
Due to the building energy consumption of total energy consumption of Korea takes over 24%, economizing building energy and using renewable energy resources is being required. To suggest the prototype of zero energy house of country house, the passive systems and active systems are applicated and simulated. In case of wall insulation system is applicated, the heating load of building is reduced. Also, clear triple pair glazing system reduced 2.1% of heating load of building. The amount of reducing heating load by infiltration is depending on the Heating system. In this model, the 0.3ACH made 14.6% saving on heating load from base infiltration 0.82ACH. The solar thermal system of active system could save 80% of DHW and PV system supplies electric power more than average consumption of year. Through the optimum process, the end use of zero energy house of country house is 36kWh/m2.yr and total energy consumption is reduced about 74.2%.
The cable connection zone of the cable-stayed bridge transfers deal-load, live-load, and second-load to the cables on the structural joint zone of the cables and the main girders are the most critical parts in which big cable tensile forces are generated by those loads. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly check the main girder, structurally to secure the required stability. Because of the heavy tensile force of cables linked in the connection zone of the cable-stayed bridge, locally concentrated stress, as well as the dispersion of stress, occurs in the structurally contacted point of cable and main girder thus, we need to make a thorough investigation through a detailed structural analysis. Directly delivering the tensile force to the connection zone of the cable, the consequently big effect in the tensile force fluctuation caused by the live-load will make it necessary to review the fatigue strength. As the connection zone of the cable is designed to resist the tensile force of the cable, which is applied to a connecting section as a concentrated force, thick plates are used. These plates are frequently made of welded structure, thus, the investigation of the welding workability is inevitable.
A new finite shear wall element model and a method for calculation of 3D multi-storied only shear walled or shear walled - framed structures using finite shear wall elements assumed ideal elasto - plastic material are developed. The collapse load of the system subjected to factored constant gravity loads and proportionally increasing lateral loads is calculated with a method of load increments. The shape functions over the element are determined as a cubic variation along the story height and a linear variation in horizontal direction because of the rigid behavior of the floor slab. In case shear walls are chosen as only one element in every floor, correct solutions are obtained by using this developed element. Because of the rigid behavior of the floor slabs, the number of unknowns are reduced substantially. While in framed structures, classical plastic hinge hypothesis is used, in nodes of shear wall elements when vertical deformation parameter is exceeded ${\varepsilon}_e$, this node is accepted as a plastic node. While the system is calculated with matrix displacement method, for determination of collapse safety, plastic displacements and plastic deformations are taken as additional unknowns. Rows and columns are added to the system stiffness matrix for additional unknowns.
