  • In this study I purpose a new approach to the study of Korean costume history which includes a statistical method used in the prac-tical measurement of excavated Po's and the analysis of their quantitative changes. In the framework used in this study I de-pend on the nineteen variables picked out from the typological and chronological analysis of excavated clothes. The interrelationship of the variables as well as the standard of each part and its deviation in other forms are may main concern. Other methods are also very useful in my thesis: Correlation analysis Regression analysis Discrimination analysis Cluster analysis Discrimination analysis Cluster analysis Factor analysis One way analysis of variance. The findings of my study can be summarized as follows: 1. Every type of po has a general tendency to have more broadened sleeves while it does not show any considerable changes in the total length and in the width of armholes. 2. In the Correlation analysis each part of Po's is handled separately accordign to its chronology and type. The Regreesion analysis makes it possible to provide the sizes of miss-ing parts in excavated clothes and the numeri-cal value of each part needed in the pattern making. 3. The Discrimination analysis of the Po's whose types are unknown leads to the con-clusion that Chongsam and Chikryong Po are classified into Chikryong Po whereas Hongui is classified into Jooui In addition I propose discriminational function by which the age classification is possible discovering the variables associated with time change. 4. Five items-Gerneral Park's clothes Taewongun's clothes and three others produced later for the purpose of preserving Korean costume are proved to be in a differ-ent group and hence analyzed separately in the visual grouping of changui which is done after the cluster analysis and the factor analysis. 5. The results of the one way analysis of variance reveal that there is a difference in each part from period: the back width the sleeve length the sleeve width thelean fig-ure the breasttie length the breasttie width outside quesset upper inside quesset lower outside neckband length insideneckband length etc.

  • In the sub-surface environments, detection of the movement of contaminant substances and recharge of groundwater by rainfall are very important factors which contain porosity and effective porosity of porous media. In this paper, the applicability of permittivity methods and proposed dielectric mixing models (DDMs) are discussed. This study showed that the ratio of effective porosity to porosity of Toyoura and River sands were 0.856 and 0.843. From the relationships between the relative porosity and effective porosity, all measured values can be confirmed to outside the range to about 0.800 for Toyoura and River sands under all experiments by FDR and FDR-V systems. In the study, this permittivity equipment can be considered to be good enough to measure determining the physical parameters of saturated soils. Consequently, this permittivity method can be contributed to estimate a porosity and effective porosity of saturated porous media because it is easy and instantaneous than previous in-situ methods.

  • Far-zone electric fields radiated by a coaxial cable through an aperture in a perfectly conducting ground plane are calculated utilizing the dyadic Green's function and vector wave functions. In this paper the outer radius $\alpha$ is assumed to be less than 0.02 so that the aperture fields is well approximated by the dominant TEM mode in the coaxial cable. The result of present approach is compared with the readily obtained solution. The present solution is valid outside of the spherical regions with radius `$\alpha$' from the center of coaxial cable.

  • In this paper, we presents a behavior planning for humanoid robots using behavior primitive in 3 dimensional workspace. Also, we define behavior primitives that humanoid robot accomplishes various tasks effectively. Humanoid robot obtains information of the outside environment and its inner information from various sensors in complex workspace with various obstacles. We verify our approach on a developed small humanoid robot using embedded vision and sensor system in a experimental environment. The experimental results show that the humanoid robot performs its tasks fast and effectively.

  • Fractal mathematics is being highlighted as a research method for classification of image. But the application of Fractal dimension(FD) has been required the complicated calculation method because of its complex repetition progressing. In this paper, it has been applied the new approach method to express FD for aging level calculation and investigated the relative degradation processing in outside EPDM insulator. As a result after testing, new proposed method has a capability to estimate in case of the field operated EPDM and accelerating test. Therefore, we find the differency of operated EPDM according to field condition.

  • In this paper we propose a new perspective for explaining galaxy rotation curves. We conjecture that there is a gravitational moment of inertia which, together with gravitational mass, contributes to the gravitational potential. We substantiate a formula for the potential created by the moment of inertia. We validate our model by computing orbital rotation velocities for several galaxies and showing that computed rotation velocities correspond to the observed ones. Our proposed approach is capable of accounting for constant gas velocities outside of a galactic disc without relying on the dark matter hypothesis. Furthermore, it addresses several problems faced by the application of the dark matter hypothesis, e.g., the absence of inward collapse of dark matter into a galaxy, the spherical distribution of dark matter around galaxies, and absence of traces of the effect of dark matter in two ultra-diffuse galaxies, NGC 1052-DF2, and NGC 1052-DF4.

  • An experimental study was conducted to develop a new base plate anchorage system for concrete filled tubular column under an axial load and a moment. The column was connected to a concrete foundation using ordinary deformed reinforcing bars that are installed at the inside and outside of the column. In order to investigate the moment resisting capacity of the system, horizontal cyclic loads are applied until the ultimate condition is reached with the axial load held constant. To derive a design method for moment resisting capacity, the reinforced concrete section approach was investigated with the assumption of strain compatibility. The results by this approach agreeded well with those of experiments when the bearing pressure of confined concrete and tangent modulus of steel bars are assumed appropriately. Also, it was found that the column interaction curve can be used to predict the yield strength of the base plate system.

  • Digital transformation represents one of the main obstacles facing several government, private, and non-profit sectors that help stabilize digital transformation in the Arabic region. One of the helpful ways to improve the level of freedom, productivity, and flexibility among employees to accept the BYOD approach is using their own devices to perform their work both in and outside the workplace. This study focuses to present the differences between the main three economic sectors, which represent the most important pillars of the economy in Saudi Arabia within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. BYOD also has great importance to the stakeholders for raising their awareness by expressing the implications, if the concept of BYOD is widely and correctly adopted. The study uses the diffusion of innovation (DOI) framework and quantitative analysis data to determine the main dimensions and important factors that help increase the awareness of the target audience. The number of participants in this study was 830, and the participants are mixing between the government, private, and non-profit sectors. The main findings showed a significant impact of several factors such as the importance of knowledge, ease of use, employee satisfaction, risk awareness, and attention to increase the level of acceptance in three main sectors study for using the BYOD approach widespread and professional use.

  • Ousters have become a key focus of interest and analysis over the last decade or so, informed by the work of the Harvard business economist Michael Porter. Recent research, however, suggests that the classic Porterian conception of clusters needs to be rethought. In particular, the idea that clusters are geogaphically bounded and integrated units whose primary link to the outside world is through the export of goods and services to global markets is highly Questionable, if not untenable. Relational approaches to clusters and regional development stress the importance of the wider networks and 'pipelines' through which knowledge is exchanged with key partners and collaborators located outside of the particular cluster in question. Rather than the main external links being those between leading firms and global markets, firms may engage in a range of global relations with collaborators and suppliers. This paper address the challenge of rethinking clusters in the light of the recent emphasis on global networks md connections, drawing on experience from m old industrial region in Western Europe Scotland. In assessing cluster experiences and initiatives in Scotland, I examine the development of the oil and gas and electronics clusters. In conclusion, I suggest that cluster initiatives me only likely to generate lasting benefits for the region in question if there is significant local ownership md control of key industries and clusters.
