  • A generalized singular linear quadratic control technique is developed to design an optimal trajectory tracking system. The output feedback control law is designed using this technique. The feedback gain matrix is synthesized to minimize tracking errors with pole placement capability to satisfy the control activity requirements. An applications to a bank-to-turn missile coordinated autopilot system design is presented.

산출물의 일관성과 완전성 검증을 위한 추적테이블의 경험적 연구 (An Empirical Study on Tracking Table for Consistency and Completeness Validation in the Outputs)

  • 소프트웨어 개발시 요구사항이 시스템에 제대로 반영되어 개발되고 있는지를 추적하는 일은 아주 중요하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 추적테이블을 이용하여 요구사항을 추적하는 방법을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 추적테이블에서는 제안요청서, 제안서 등의 내용을 명확히 명세하게 함으로써 요구사항의 발생근거를 명확히 하고, 산출물마다 요구사항 식별코드를 매핑하게 하여 산출물간의 일관성 및 완전성 검증하는데 용이하게 하였다. 아울러, 본 연구를 진행하면서 마르미-III v.4.0 방법론의 요구획득단계 산출물중에 추가하거나 보완이 필요한 요소를 발견하게 되었기에 개선된 추적테이블과 함께 부가적인 연구결과로 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 개선된 추적테이블을 이용하여 산출물을 검증함으로써 소프트웨어 개발시 요구사항 관리 부족으로 일어나는 각종 위험 및 문제요소를 줄일 수 있을 것이다. 또한 마르미-III v.4.0 방법론의 요구획득 단계 산출물을 본 연구의 추적테이블 작성방법에 따라 추가.보완하게 함으로써 마르미-Ⅲ 방법론의 활용을 높이고자 한다.

  • In this paper proposed the solar tracking system to use a fuzzy based on PC in order to increase an output of the PV array. The solar tracking system operated two DC motors driving by signal of photo sensor. The control of dual axes is not an easy task due to nonlinear dynamics and unavailability of the parameters. The fuzzy control made a nonlinear dynamics to well perform and had a robust and highly efficient characteristic about a parameter variable as well as a nonlinear characteristic. Hence the fuzzy control was used to perform the tracking system after comparing with error values of setting-up, nonlinear altitude and azimuth. In this paper designed a fuzzy controller for improving output of PV array and evaluated comparison with efficient of conventional PI controller. The data which were obtained by experiment were able to show a validity of the proposed controller.

전기자동차용 유도전동기를 위한 유한제어요소 모델예측 토크제어 (Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control with Pulse Width Modulation for Torque Control of EV Induction Motors)

  • This paper proposes a new finite control set-model predictive control (FCS-MPC) method for induction motors. In the method, the reference state that satisfies the given torque and rotor flux requirements is derived. Cost indices for the FCS-MPC are defined using the state tracking error, and a linear matrix inequality is formulated to obtain a proper weighting matrix for the state tracking error. The on-line procedure of the proposed FCS-MPC comprises of two steps: select the output voltage vector of the two level inverter minimizing the cost index and compute the optimal modulation factor of the minimizing output voltage vector in order to reduce the state tracking error and torque ripple. The steady state tracking error is removed by using an integrator to adjust the reference state. The simulation and experimental results demonstrated that the proposed FCS-MPC shows good torque, rotor flux control performances at different rotating speeds.

A Frequency-Tracking Method Based on a SOGI-PLL for Wireless Power Transfer Systems to Assure Operation in the Resonant State

  • Wireless power transfer (WPT) technology is now recognized as an efficient means of transferring power without physical contact. However, frequency detuning will greatly reduce the transmission power and efficiency of a WPT system. To overcome the difficulties associated with the traditional frequency-tracking methods, this paper proposes a Direct Phase Control (DPC) approach, based on the Second-Order Generalized Integrator Phase-Locked Loop (SOGI-PLL), to provide accurate frequency-tracking for WPT systems. The DPC determines the phase difference between the output voltage and current of the inverter in WPT systems, and the SOGI-PLL provides the phase of the resonant current for dynamically adjusting the output voltage frequency of the inverter. Further, the stability of this control method is analyzed using the linear system theory. The performance of the proposed frequency-tracking method is investigated under various operating conditions. Simulation and experimental results convincingly demonstrate that the proposed technique will track the quasi-resonant frequency automatically, and that the ZVS operation can be achieved.

  • This paper presents a new velocity estimation strategy of a non-salient permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive without high frequency signal injection or special PWM pattern. This approach is based on the d-axis current regulator output voltage of the drive system that has the information of rotor position error. The rotor velocity can be estimated through a rotor position tracking PI controller that controls the position error to zero. For zero and low speed operation, PI controller gains of rotor position tracking controller have a variable structure according to the estimated rotor velocity. In order to boost the bandwidth of PI controller around zero speed, a loop recovery technique is applied to the control system. The proposed method only requires the flux linkage of permanent magnet and is insensitive to the parameter estimation error and variation. The designers can easily determine the possible operating range with a desired bandwidth and perform the vector control even at low speeds. The experimental results show the satisfactory operation of the proposed sensorless algorithm under rated load conditions.

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and millimeter-wave frequencies play key roles in supporting 5G wireless communication systems. They expand the field of wireless communication by increasing the data capacities of communication systems and supporting high data rates. However, short wavelengths, owing to the high millimeter-wave frequencies can cause problems, such as signal attenuation and path loss. To address these limitations, research on high directional beamforming technologies continue to garner interest. Furthermore, owing to the mobility of the UAVs, it is essential to track the beam angle accurately to obtain full beamforming gain. This study presents a beam tracking method based on the unscented Kalman filter using hybrid beamforming. The simulation results reveal that the proposed beam tracking scheme improves the overall performance in terms of the mean-squared error and spectral efficiency. In addition, by expanding analog beamforming to hybrid beamforming, the proposed algorithm can be used even in multi-user and multi-stream environments to increase data capacity, thereby increasing utilization in new-radio multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing systems.

  • This paper provides a solution for the problem of efficiency decrease caused by load variation. A novel control scheme of tracking the PT's operation frequency for the maximum efficiency is proposed. As a result, a high efficiency over $80\%$ has been achieved even under the output-current decrease down to $10\%$ of the full load current.
