냉간단조 공정설계 시스템과 유한요소해석에 의한 검증 (Computer-Aided Process Planning System of Cold Forging and its Verification by F.E. Simulation)

  • This paper describes interactive computer procedures for design the forming sequences in cold forging. This system is implemented on the personal computer and its environment is a commercial AutoCAD system. The programming language. AutoLISP, was used for the configuration of the system. Since the process of metal forming can be considered as a transformation of geometry, treatment of the geometry of the part is a key in process planning. To recognize the part section geometry, the section entity representation, the section coordinate-redius representation and the section primitive geometru were adopted. This system includes six major modules such as input module, forging design module, forming sequence design module, die design module, FEM verification module and output module which are used independently or in all. The sequence drawing wigh all dimensions, which includes the dimensional tolerances and the proper sequence of operations, can generate under the environment of AutoCAD. The acceptable forming sequences can be verified further, using the FE simulation.

  • The temperature-entropy diagram of water or vapor displays graphically the thermophysical properties, so it is very conveniently used in various thermal systems. On general T-s chart of water, there are temperature, pressure, quality, specific volume, specific enthalpy, specific entropy. However, various state and process values besides above properties can be plotted on T-s diagram. In this study, we developed the software drawing twenty six kinds of properties, that is temperature, pressure, quality, specific volume, specific internal energy, specific enthalpy, specific entropy, specific exergy, exergy ratio, density, isobaric specific heat, isochoric specific heat, ratio of specific heat, coefficient of viscosity, kinematic coefficient of viscosity, thermal conductivity, prandtl number, ion product, static dielectric constant, isentropic exponent, velocity of sound, joule-thomson coefficient, pressure coefficient, volumetric coefficient of expansion, isentropic compressibility, and isothermal compressibility. Also, this software can analyze and print the system values of mass flow rate, volume flow rate, internal energy flow rate, enthalpy flow rate, entropy flow rate, exergy flow rate, heat flow rate, power output, power efficiency, and reversible work. Additionally, this software support the functions such as MS-Power Point.

간단하고 빠른 실시간 연필 스트로크 알고리즘 (A Simple and Fast Algorithm for Real-time Pencil Strokes)

  • 본 논문은, 연필을 이용하여 종이에 선을 그렸을 때에 나타나는 효과를 모방하는 연필 스트로크 알고리즘을 제안한다. 비사실적 렌더링(NPR, Non-Photorealistic Rendering)에 대한 연구는 사람이 직접 그린 펜화나 수채화, 연필화, 파스텔화 등의 효과를 컴퓨터를 통해 자동으로 표현함을 목적으로 하고 있으며, 현재 그래픽스 분야에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이 중에서 연필에 대한 효과에 대한 연구는 LIC(Linear Integral Convolution)를 이용하여 최초 입력영상을, 방향성을 가진 벡터 영역이 반영된 출력 영상으로 변환하는 방식에 대한 연구가 대부분이었다. 그러나 이러한 변환 방식은 후처리방식이므로 사용자가 실시간으로 그림을 그리는 드로잉 툴에 적용하기 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 무름의 정도에 따라 6B에서부터 6H의 연필들에 의해 실제 선이 그려지는 것을 관찰하고 이를 모방한 새로운 실시간 연필 스트로크 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 본 알고리즘은 연필상수, 스트로크 상의 픽셀 위치에 따른 노이즈 발생 등을 이용한 간단한 형태의 알고리즘임에도 불구하고, 구현 결과, 사용자가 일반 그래픽 에디터와 같은 환경에서 실제 연필 스트로크와 유사한 형태의 스트로크를 실시간으로 그릴 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

과풍속 출력 제한형 소형 풍력 발전장치 개발 (Development of the Furling Control Type Small Wind Turbine System)

  • In this study, a small wind turbine airfoil specialized for national wind condition was designed in order to develop the furling control type HAWT. And then a flow analysis was carried out based on the blade drawing which was designed to characterize of the developed airfoil. The result of the flow analysis showed that the torque on the 3 blades was 180.23N.m. This is equivalent to an output power of 5.66kw and an output efficiency of 0.44. Then we produced and constructed a 3kW - furling control type HAWT by getting the system unit design technology such as the specialized furling control device. By operating this turbine, we could get 3kW of the rated power at a wind speed of 10.5m/s through the ability test. Cut-in wind speed was 2m/s, generator efficiency was 92% at the rated power output. Sound power level was 87.2dB(A). Also we observed that the output power was limited to 10.5m/s with furling system operation.

  • 본 논문에서는 LCD source driver IC의 output buffer op-amp로 사용가능한 저소비전력 및 높은 슬루율을 갖는 CMOS rail-to rail 입/출력 op-amp를 설계하였다. 제안한 op-amp는 기존의 출력단 Class-AB 단에 새로이 설계한 Class-B control단을 추가하여 저소비전력과 높은 슬루율을 갖게 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 op-amp는 소비전력이 1.19mW로 감소하였으며 사용한 부하커패시터 (10nF)를 기준으로 슬루율은 6.5V/us로 확인되었다.

  • 스마트그리드의 개념이 확장되면서 다양한 산업과 융합되어 확산되어가고 있는 상황에서 스마트그리드의 가능성 및 가치를 검증하고 평가할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 스마트그리드가 융합되어 확산될 수 있는 산업분야를 조망하고 이를 토대로 스마트그리드 산업의 경제적 파급효과를 도출하고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 스마트그리드산업의 확산방향을 파악하기 위하여 참여사업자(players)의 진화 전략과 파생될 수 있는 신사업을 중심으로 살펴보았으며, 이를 통해 에너지, 건설, 가전, 자동차산업이 융합산업으로 선정되었다. 선정된 산업분야와 추정한 국내 전망치를 적용하고 산업연관표를 활용하여 유발계수를 도출한 후, 경제적 파급효과를 추정하였다. 그 결과, 2010-2020년까지의 총생산유발액은 약 77조 원, 총부가가치유발액은 약 24조 원, 총고용유발인원은 약 31만 명에 이를 것으로 전망되었다.

  • This paper propose a development of squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) for 5-phase 1.5kW, 220V, 60Hz in order to study a polyphase ac machinery that keep hold of advantages more than traditional three-phase a IM, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation, decreasing electric noises, and increasing the reliability. Designed methods of the motor use a development tools with Maxwell 2D and Simplorer program. There are designed drawing of manufactured frames of the IM. amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages and current, and reviewing a experiment results are shown by variable output. We are presenting a design and manufacture methods for the 5-phase squirrel-cage IM.

  • ESS(Energy Storage System) for Improve the quality of the power grid, supply reliability, system stability and the efficient operation method of power is drawing attention. According to changes in the load of the power system frequency will be adjustable in real time in response to changes in the frequency of the grid, so thermal power output is mainly controlled in order to keep the grid frequency stable. ESS for adjusting the frequency of the grid when the frequency rises to grid and charge the energy storage device. If the frequency drops to discharge the battery power to the grid and the future is expected to replace the thermal power plant. This paper describes 4MW ESS for the frequency regulation and find out about the characteristics through the PSCAD/EMTDC.

FPGA Implementation of LSB-Based Steganography

  • Steganography, which is popular as an image processing technology, is the art of using digital images to hide a secret message in such a way that its existence can only be discovered by the sender and the intended receiver. This technique has the advantage of concealing secret information in a cover medium without drawing attention to it, unlike cryptography, which tries to convert data into something messy or meaningless. In this paper, we propose two efficient least significant bit (LSB)-based steganography techniques for designing an image-based steganography system on chip using hardware description language (HDL). The proposed techniques manipulate the LSB plane of the cover image to embed text inside it. The output of these algorithms is a stego-image which has the same quality as that of the original image. We also implement the proposed techniques using the Altera field programmable gate array (FPGA) and Quartus II design software.

  • The objective of he study is to record the real conditions along with the soccer ball that is, each player's ball keeping time, the number football keeping, accuracy of passing to other player, direction, etc., on a real-time basis, measure them in numbers and get necessary analyzed output as much as one needs. The study consists of the following stages: (1) Record the data by drawing through Visual Interface on a real-time basis; (2) Graphic windows to display the recorded data item by item in graphic; (3) Form windows to display the individual or team scores anytime when needed; (4) Windows to display the analyzed data in visualized form. The effect of the study is threefold: (1) It inputs all the game-related data on a real-time basis, which was impossible before and shows analyzed contents during the game enabling each tea manager o use; (2) In cse of TV broadcasting or newspaper articles, it explains objectively the situations of he game to the TV viewers or readers; (3) After the game, it provides importance information on each team's playing ability and individual player's technical improvement through data analysis.
