In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for stress-strength reliability from the Pareto distributions. We develop the matching priors and the reference priors. It turns out that the second order matching prior does not match the alternative coverage probabilities, and is not a highest posterior density matching or a cumelative distribution function matching priors. Also we reveal that the one-at-a-time reference prior and Jeffreys' prior are the second order matching prior. We show that the proposed reference prior matches the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense through simulation study, and an example is given.

Hydrogen fuel cell is clean and efficient technology along with high energy densities. While there are many different types of fuel cells, the proton exchange membrane fuel cell stands out as one of the most promising for transportation and small stationary applications. This paper focuses on design of bipolar plate for proton exchange membrane fuel cell. The bipolar plate model is realistically and accurately simulated velocity distribution, current density distribution and its effect on the PEMFC system using CFD tool FLUENT.

This paper is an exploratory study about perceived risks related to career women's fashion lifestyles in case of catalogue shopping. Three research questions are proposed: 1. The first is to examine the types of career women's fashion lifestyles. 2. The second is to find out the kinds of perceived risks when career women purchase fashion apparels through catalogues. 3. The third is to investigate the relationships between fashion lifestyles and perceived risks. The empirical results were as follows. First, career women's fashion lifestyles were distinctively divided into the fashion-oriented group, the casual preference group, and the brand-name preference group. Second, seven unique perceived risks such as socio-psychological perceived risks, product assortment perceived risks, quality/function perceived risks, customer services & conveniences perceive risks, economic perceived risks, and order waiting-time perceived risks were manifested when career women purchase fashion apparels using catalogues. Finally, significant differences in socio-psychological perceived risks, product assortment perceived risks, and quality/function perceived risks were shown among fashion lifestyle clusters. However, the others were not.

A production/inventory system is considered in which a production facility produces one type of product. The demand for the product is given by a compound Poison process and is supplied directly from inventory when inventory is available and is lost when inventory is out of stock. The processing time to produce one item is assumes to follow a general distribution. An (s, S) policy is considered in which production stops at the instant the stock on hand reachs S and the setup of the production facility begins at an inspection point when the stock on hand drops to or below s for the first time. The time interval between two successive inspection points during a non-production period is a random variable which follows a general distribution.

Several air cells are installed in the seat cushion to adjust the stiffness of seat by changing the air pressure. To select proper air pressure in the air cells, two kinds of tests are performed. For the pressure distribution on the seat, the maximum pressure and mean pressure are compared. And for the dynamic ride values, SEAT (Seat Effective Amplitude Transmissibility) values are calculated and compared. These experiments are carried out with three different drivers, three different vehicle speeds on the highway and two different speed on the primary road, and three different air pressures. From the real car tests, optimum air cell pressure depending on the vehicle speed and driver's weight are recommended.

In this paper we present user authentication and key distribution using threshold PKC(Public Key Cryptosystem), which is secure against the dictionary attack. The n servers hold a t-out-of-n sharing of the dealer's secret key. When the server authenticate a user, at least f of them cooperate they can reconstruct password verifier.

The paper presented results of the strength distributions and tension failure behaviors of splices subjected to tension forces. The bolting patterns in the tension splices are regular and staggered patterns in the research. The finite element analyses were carried out to examine the experimental results and evaluated the stress distribution patterns. The yield stresses, maximum tension stresses, stress distribution ratios, and effective net areas were analyzed through the tension experiments.

A new DC-DC converter circuit for LVDC(Low Voltage Direct-Current) distribution is proposed. DC-DC converter consists of two stage which are voltage balancer and converter stage. The balancing circuit adjust balance input voltage of converter circuit and compensate for unbalanced loads and short circuits. The converter circuit control the bipolar output voltage ${\pm}750V$. Simulation is carried out for this DC-DC converter system.

This study identifies the comparison of Technical specification and Characteristics of DC Protection Relay(ETCPU200) used in DC Distribution System in Korea. ETCPU200 has completed Field Test and approved its capability by finding out causes of recent operations through lately developed digital DC protection relay in parallel operation at Maebong-Substation, Nakseongdae-Substation, Euljirosaga-Substation, Jegi-Substation and Chongryangri T/P area. It also examines additional features for efficient System Analysis and Operations.
