Purpose: The study aims to synthesize research trends regarding the distribution of 'other customer perception' on 'brand experience'; concurrently, to identify the promising research directions and suggest useful for managers. Research design, data, and methodology: The paper deals with the distribution of 'other customer perception' on 'brand experience' through evaluating a systematic review combined with biological mapping analysis (VOS viewer) with 226 documents published in 142 journals from 1987 to 2021. Results: The study synthesizes and analyzes existing literature reviews on the distribution of 'other customer perception' on 'brand experience', which mainly highlights three research topic groups. Exploring the component of relationship should be considered in the brand experience scale when the research context is the social interactions surrounding the customer's purchasing process. Moreover, the presence of mindfulness in several publications has suggested a potential research direction in the consumer behavior field. Conclusions: The systematic reports can be a useful reference for managers towards building brand experience based on distribution of 'other customer perception' with moderating of mindfulness - a new finding of behavioral interaction that has just experienced the Covid-19 pandemic which is experienced directly at the store and lead to many changes in consumer psychology.
Purpose - This paper examines customers' perception on intra-industry and inter-industry alliance, then compares customer purchasing attitude towards alliance product according to whether it is from high-tech or low-tech industry. Research design, data, and methodology - We used qualitative research methodology of in-depth interviews and focus group interviews. Results - Customers expect products from inter-industry alliance to be highly innovative but also to be inferior in technology. In high-tech industries, since technology is more important than differentiation, inter-industry alliance was negatively evaluated whereas intra-industry alliance elicited positive customer purchasing attitude. Conversely, in low-tech industry where novelty outweighs technology, inter-industry alliance earned positive evaluation. However, for intra-industry alliance, customers' evaluation varied depending on whether both partners share similar prestige and price range. When partners were not similar to each other, customers' perception were positive for less prestigious and pricey brand, but in the reverse case, perception were negative. Conclusions - This research focused on customers' perception and attitude by adopting qualitative methodology while other alliance studies are mostly based on quantitative research. This study provides managers with partner selecting guidelines considering the type of industry, and whether the goal is to enhance novelty or technology.
This paper investigates how servicescape perception influences customer experience quality in hedonic service settings. In addition to the direct effect of servicescape quality on customer experience quality, the indirect effects of servicescape quality on customer experience quality via employee-to-customer interaction quality and peer-to-peer interaction quality are also investigated. We collected data through a self-administered survey. The proposed relationships were tested using structural equation modeling. The results show that servicescape quality influences customer experience quality both directly and indirectly through employee-to-customer interaction quality and peer-to-peer interaction quality, and customer experience quality influences customer loyalty. Additionally, we find that the indirect path via peer-to-peer interaction quality is significant only in a low-satisfaction customer group. The indirect effect of servicescape quality perception through peer-to-peer interaction quality is significant only in low-satisfaction customer groups. Therefore, if evaluations for this indirect effect fall below an acceptable level, it should be addressed first before improving on other attributes. However, after this point, further improvements offer few if any gains; therefore, service firms should allocate their resources to quality improvements to other factors. This study is the first to investigate the indirect effects of servicescape quality on customer experience quality via peer-to-peer interaction quality in hedonic service settings. Additionally, this study demonstrates that the significance of this indirect effect applies only to a low-satisfaction customer group.

This study analyzed the influence of other customers' perception (similarity, physical attraction, and suitable behavior) of the fashion retail environment on male customers' store attitude and behavioral response. In addition, comparing the effect of store type, this study comprehensively provides the effect of other customers' perception in fashion retailing. In order to investigate research questions, an online survey was conducted and 220 responses were analyzed using AMOS 18.0. The results of this research were as follow. First, the dimensions of physical attraction and suitable behavior of other customers influenced toward target customer's fashion store attitude. Second, the effect of store attitude towards the perceiver's behavioral response was proven. Third, customers established their store attitude by other customers' physical attraction in luxury stores, while others' behavior was meaningful in SPA store. Fourth, other customer's similarity dimension did not influence the male customers' store attitude. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of other customer's effect in fashion stores by examining different store types. In addition, managers may establish a customer portfolio strategy and training based on this research.
The current advance of IT and the e-commerce triggers the wide practice of dynamic pricing in all industries although the price discrimination has been very cautiously applied in the limited areas in the past. The price discrimination which offers different prices for each customer depending on their preference and buying behaviors has recently gained attention as it could provide superior benefits to sellers. The wide adoption of price discrimination, on the other hand, is reported to face buyer resistances and complaints. Our limited understanding on the perception of price fairness, which we think is key concept in the price discrimination on the Internet-enabled transactions, motives us to investigate factors that affect the perception of price fairness. This study focuses on illusion of control and lateral customer relationship to investigate their effects on price fairness in online auction and group purchase context. By conducting laboratory experiments, our study demonstrates that customers' perception on illusion of control in price determination and advantageous lateral customer relationship significantly affect price fairness perception in both online auction and group purchase environment. The findings are expected to provide researchers and managers with useful insights to develop better pricing strategies and design effective dynamic pricing mechanisms.
Due to the diversification of the food industry and its heightened competition, the marketing strategy to be required the most would be to improve competitiveness by enhancing customer loyalty as a resulting variable of customer satisfaction. Thus, this study, taking a food service provider as a subject, is to find factors and the scope of the perceived quality ; and to analyze how far the perceived service quality factor as such could explain customer′s overall satisfaction and customer loyalty ; finally to provide basic data for establishing a customer satisfaction marketing strategy as related to customer loyalty. The results of the study are as below. 1) 25 factors of service quality perceived by a food service provider have been categorized into 8 independent dimensions through factor analysis. Each of them are named ′Employee attitude′, ′Cleanliness′, ′Reputation′, ′Reliability′, ′Food′, ′Price′, ′Convenience′, ′Variety′, all of which explain 64.3% of the service again quality perception level. 2) After classifying customers into 3 groups according to two criteria -"will buy the service again" and "will suggest it to others" and making a pair of service providers with each customer, each customer loyalty group compared the service quality perception factor of the food service provider. The result was that the group having both the " will buy the service again" and "will suggest to others" criteria, that is, with higher loyalty, tend to have higher points than other group s in the dimension of ′Employee attitude′ and ′ Cleanliness′(p〈0.05), which means these two dimensions are closely related to customer loyalty. 3) From a regression analysis for the service quality perception level of the food service provider and overall satisfaction, it has been found that : the regression models are different for each group, that ′Employee attitude′ seems to be related more closely to the group with higher loyalty(p〈0.05); that the ′Price′dimension is found to be a meaningful factor to the group categorized not having "will buy the service again" and "will suggest to others" criteria(p〈0.05).
Purpose: The study investigates the moderating impact of interpersonal mindfulness (IM) on the link between perceived similarity (OPS), physical appearance (OPA), and suitable behavior (OSB) - three key factors of other consumer perception (OCP) and brand experience (BE) in distribution of OCP and brand. Research design, data, and methodology: This study collected data from 612 consumers at shopping malls. SmartPLS 3.3.9 software were used to assess the measurement model and structural model. Results: According to the study's findings, IM has a negative modality in the impact between BE and OPS, OPA, and OSB. That also demonstrates how distribution of OCP and brand can affect a person's brand experience. Conclusions: The distribution of OCP and IM interactions have a significant influence on the brand experience in brand distribution. The study's results show that IM including mindfulness will function as a moderator between perceived similarity, physical appearance, suitable behavior regarded proper by other consumers, and brand experiences; therefore, they impact to brand distribution. The findings give a foundation for further IM research and add to the brand distribution theory that already exists. The findings also have some managerial implications in brand distribution.
This research focused on the comparison of corporate business mokels to explain different financial performances on the eBusiness domain. Especially, because customers have the more buying [ower tha other business areas, customer value and the service quality were prepared for independent variables and operational margin which can be obtained by publicize report was used for a dependent variable in stead of the other variables dependent on human perception as well. As a result, this research found that the customer value measured by service quality concept impact on the financial performance of eBusiness corporation positively. To find out more delicate results, structural equation was used for statistical method using 324 survey samples on 10 corporations. Though data using for statistical analysis were divided into individual and corporate level and have the time gap between research time and financial performance publicized period, the value of this research is that the customer value and service quality concepts with very objective financial information were input for constructing a research model.

This study examines the color image of uniform of airline cabin crew according to the demographic characteristics of the customer and demonstrates how it affects the cognitive image of airlines. Adjective adjectives were derived for uniform color images of all eight airlines in Korea and analyzed the image of airline brand color. Based on the analysis of color images, the difference in perception according to the demographic characteristics of passengers was analyzed. When the colors of airline uniforms are mainly blue, sky blue, white and ivory, they have a lot of trust, neat and elegant images. Uniforms with primary colors such as red, orange and green beans are found to have a lot of cheerful, developmental and enterprising images. In addition, the empirical analysis of the impact of the customer's cognitive perception and favoritism on the uniform color image of the airline crew showed that the more positive the airline's positive perception of the uniform color image, the more positive the cognitive image is. In other words, the empirical analysis revealed that the airline's uniform color image, its cognitive image of the airline, and its popularity have significant positive relationships.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of customer orientation factors in relation to medical services on the values of the service and customer satisfaction and loyalty. Those factors include patient safety and, as found by previous studies, specialization, explanation of what to be medically examined and customer orientation itself. Based on these pervious studies, this study surveyed customers of 7 general hospitals located in Busan to empirically identify relations between customer orientation factors of medical services and the values of the services and customer satisfaction. Results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, this study is very meaningful in that it established a basic theory of patient safety as one of the above customer orientation factors, and tried to empirically demonstrated the theory by applying it to medical services. Second, another of the factors, specialization was found positively affecting the values of medical services, but not affecting customer satisfaction. Customers are likely to choose specialized medical institutions even at higher cost when they undergo an accident or disease. Nevertheless, in factors, whether medical service providers are specialized is not influencing customer satisfaction. This is because medical institutions are failing to properly make recognized their specialization to customers who want to receive specialized medical services. Third, another of customer orientation factors, that is, explanation of what to be medically examined was found not having positive effects on the values of medical services and customer satisfaction. This is probably because enough time was not given for the explanation or because the explanation itself was not provided enough. Fourth, medical service providers' customer orientation was found positively influencing the values of medical services and customer satisfaction. In other words, it seems that customer-centered attitudes and behaviors of medical service providers had positive effects on customers' perception of medical services. Fifth, another of the factors, that is, patient safety was found positively affecting the values of medical services and customer satisfaction. This is probably because medical services' accurate diagnoses and reliable services had positive effects on customers' perception of medical services. Sixth, customers' perceived values of medical services were found having positive effects on customer satisfaction and loyalty. This suggests that the values of medical services are an antecedent variable that directly influences customer satisfaction and loyalty. Seventh, customer satisfaction was found positively affecting customer loyalty. This suggests that customer satisfaction is an antecedent variable of customer loyalty. In conclusion, this study showed that in relation to medical services, customer orientation factors' significant influences on the values of the services and customer satisfaction requires continuous efforts for raising customers' perceived qualities of medical services.
