Purpose - The quality of the hotel depends on the Oriental arts established. Customers tend to believe that high prices reflect the offered services. This research expounds on the effects of Oriental interior designs in the hospitality industry in enhancing hotel profitability, opportunities for development, and the growth of urban hotels. Research design, Data, and methodology - This study conducted the comprehensive literature analysis to obtain suitable contents about the effect of Oriental Art for Urban Hotel Business Plan. the literature analysis method systematically assesses the value of qualitative data. Resources are organized into groups using a coding frame. Result - The adoption of the Oriental arts in the interior designs in the hotel industry will lead to customer attraction, improved competitive advantage, customer loyalty, and the preservation of the societal values of culture. Therefore, the marketing practitioners should adopt oriental arts as an integral aspect of interior designs to enhance customer satisfaction Conclusion - Marketing practitioners also use the oriental arts to enhance customers' willingness to pay. This is because oriental arts serve as the cues that enable the consumers to feel that the hotel's products are of quality. When oriental arts are used in interior hotel designs, the customer's willingness to pay increases. Thus the firm's relationships with customers are boosted.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the type, sites and period of injuries in Mixed Martial Arts. Methods : The questionnaire composed of 26 items was used as the research tool for this study. The respondents were 84 athletes of Mixed Martial Arts who participated in Spirit MC Amateur League in September, 2007. Data analysis use chi-square examination by SPSS$^{(R)}$ 12.0 program. Results : 1. Frequently, strikers are damaged at face and waist, grapplers are damaged at knee and waist. 2. Frequently, beginers are damaged at muscle and tendon, experts are damaged at bone and joint. 3. Age, career, specialty and injured type have significant correlations. 4. Age, career, training time and concern response have significant correlations. 5. Oriental medical treatment are friendly but not well-known to the athletes. Conclusions : Injuries of Mixed Martial Arts is multifactorial, so approach of athlete's individuality is important.

A folding screen, which spread from china, is varied by many country. Each country make folding screen to fit their culture. Since oriental culture spread to europe, Chinoiserie and Japonism arise in europe at 18C, 19C. Specifically, Chinoiserie arise at 18C, after rococo. And Japonism arise at 19C, after World's fair. But korean culture, even if korea is part of the orient, doesn't found in europe. Korean folding screen doesn't found neither. Chinoiserie and Japonism are not special to oriental people. It's just customs for them. But europe feel it is special because their customs is not familiar to europe. We have to research about our familiar customs and diffuse it to world. That is our task. So this research will compare symbolic meaning and frame between each country's-korea, china, japan, europe- folding screen at formal concept angle. This research will be a basement data about what we concentrate for find korean's own culture style. Because this research is about folding screen, which stimulate western people's interest and has deep oriental color. Also this research help to make modern explication about korean old tradition.

In like this features martial arts even from each country condition anger and the sports raises the phase of the country is racing with of course martial arts. Specially from China it makes the right shoe which is a Chinese martial arts with condition item and sports anger the features of the martial arts origination to do and there is a possibility of seeing the features which in the succession nose sleeping martial arts perforation defends it concentrates. The martial arts perforation character is letting in religion and philosophy thought of the Orient. Confucianism and Buddhism, it puts in the teaching of friendship thoughts and heaven and earth positive and negative principles, five lines and eight divination signs. The paper examined whether the fine arts education needed concept of 'Yu' that was suggested by, 'Soyoyu' of Jangja, a representative philosopher of Doka. At first, the paper defined concept of 'Yu' of Jangja as well as background and needs of the fine arts education, and investigated values of 'Yu' of the Oriental painting in aesthetic way to examine whether today's Yu concept can be applied to modern Oriental fine arts education to express. Chapter 2 examined concept and thought of 'strolling (Yu)', and Chapter 3 did background and needs of the fine arts education. Chapter 4 examined an access to practical technique education of the Oriental painting through 'strolling (Yu)': At first, the chapter investigated 'Heosil' of space concept that was researched at Chapter 2, 'Pilmuk' of expression technique, and 'Saeui' of state of spiritual canvas of painters. The findings were as follow: Firstly, when relation between Yu and Oriental paintings was investigated based on formative idea, 'Heo' reminded appreciators of association of ideas, hint and imagination, etc by, 'Sil' that other objects disclosed intrinsic attributes so that it indicated border of positive forgetfulness expressed by artists to have same border between 'Heo' and 'Yu'. Therefore, both 'Heo' and 'Sil' could build up expression as well as appreciation ability by experiencing formative idea to develop creativity and to build emotion and to cognize needs of the fine arts education. Secondly, the artistic state of 'Shin', 'Ki (Simjae)', 'Jeonshin' and, Saeui', etc could be expressed with strength and weakness of both Yin and Yang of Pilmuk. Therefore, the Pilmuk were linked even with creation of both Hyeongsa and artistic form of Saeui. Therefore, freedom at border of spiritual 'strolling' could produce creative power being expressed by thinking, natural appreciation ability, and education that could judge values of aesthetic culture. Therefore, cultivation of aesthetic eye, development of creativity, build up of formative ability and education of human nature, etc could keep identity of the Oriental fine arts education at various modern fine arts.

This study is focused on looking into the essence and application in the modem history of 'Martial Art Culture' that is a representative cultural code in the East Asia. Doubting and reconstructing the paradigm of the past and present, Postmodernism in the 21st century has defined marital arts as a new cultural phenomenon. This study begins by doubting whether the essence of martial arts was a cultural conduct to train both bodies and spirits. Practically used as a fighting skill since the primitive age, martial arts has fallen into sports or cultural behaviors due to the invention of the state-of-the-art modern weapons. However modern people misunderstand that martial arts of East Asia is originated a kind of cultural behaviors. It implies there is a fundamental mistake in the wat Western civilization evaluates the orientalism. This study analyzes this mistake through access method based on realities of modern history. This trial will contribute to expanding the thinking range, inquiring into varied cultural phenomena including martial arts which are misunderstood in modern history.

In the every genre of arts we can find the oriental Yin-Yang idea which has been descended from olden time in the Orient. It arouses our big interest especially in the domain of design and plastic arts as well as in the every field of human culture, and its study and application will enrich the qualities of design and plastic arts. I think it is with the Yin-Yang idea that we have to chase to our own cultural activities to make differance from the others. Without it, we cannot advance any more the traditional heritage into better and higher state of level than the West, and our philosophy and spiritual activities be stagnant in the same cultural categories as oter countris have in common. The countries which have no distinguishing feature of their own are very easy to place themselves in the border of world culture, not in center of it only to give an immitatin of others. I would like to put great emphasis on Yin-Yang idea in the field of design and plastic arts because it will give newness and novelty to all the p대ple who are not familiar with the oriental Yin-Yang idea.

This study was conducted to improve preparations of oriental drugs by enzyme. Total sugar, reduced sugar, hydrolysis rate, and amylose content were compared in Korean yam starch and some oriental drugs treated different enzyme levels and treatment times. The results were as follows. Reduced sugar and hydrolysis rate by enzyme of yam starch were significantly increased according to increments of enzyme level and treatment time. Amylose content in yam starch was significantly decreased to increment of enzyme level and treatment time. Total sugar content in some oriental drugs of Sangmaeksan, Yukmigiwhang, Yukshinsan, Manbungsarungsan, and Sanyaksogalum were 46.08, 44.87, 11.15, 10.67, and $6.l6mg/m{\ell}$, respectively. There was no significant difference in hydrolysis rate by enzyme of Sangmaeksan, Yukmigiwhang, Manbungsarungsan. However, hydrolysis rates of Yukshinsan and Sanyaksogalum were significantly highest in 0.2% enzyme and 0.5% enzyme groups, respectively.

Gagam-danguiemja (GDGJ), a traditional Korean prescription, has been used as therapeutics for atopic allergic diseases such as atopic dermatitis. To evaluate the atopic allergic effect of modified GDGJ, we investigated a possible effect of GDGJ on mast cell-mediated allergic reaction, cytokinases secretion and mRNA expression in vivo and in vitro. Mast cells are a potent source of mediators that regulate the inflammatory response in allergic reaction. In mice orally administered by GDGJ (0.01, 0.1 and 1.0 g/kg) for 1 h, compound 48/80-induced ear oedema was significantly reduced. TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-8, and IL-6 secretion were inhibited by GDGJ in the human mast cell line (HNC-1). But TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-8, and IL-6 mRNA expression were not inhibited by GDGJ at the dose of 0.01 mg/ml. These findings may help in understanding the mechanism of action of this herbal medication, leading to the control of mast cells in atopic allergic reaction like AD.
