Business Rules are formal statements about the data and processes of an enterprise. They present projections of the organization's constraints and ways of working on their supporting information systems. Therefore, their collection, structuring and organization should be central activities within information systems. In an enterprise, business rules are used to represent certain aspects of a business domain (static rules) or business policy (dynamic rules). Hence, regarding problem domains in the organization, business rules are classified into two groups: static and dynamic business rules. The paper introduces a new concept of business rules, Extended Dynamic Business Rule (EDBR) which contains the results of the occurrence of business rule's action. The focus of this paper is in the organizing, defining and modeling of such business rules using Mineau's approach. Mineau's approach is an extension of Sowa's Conceptual Graph theory.

The purpose of this study was to verify the determinants of person-organization(P-O) fit and its effects on job satisfaction and turnover intention. As a result of empirical survey, value congruence, job choice decision and similar occupation are confirmed as factors that affect on P-O Fit. And the effect of P-O fit on job satisfaction and turnover intention was significant. This findings indicated that P-O fit model can be used for organization to improve employee performance. Some limitations of this study and strategic application of P-O fit model for employee selection and retention were also discussed.

이 연구는 한국 대학도서관의 서비스를 향상하고 조직문화의 활성화를 도모하기 위하여 대학도서관 조직개발 전략을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 문헌적 연구를 통하여 조직개발 이론과 대학도서관 조직 관련 연구들을 간략히 살펴보고, 대학도서관에서의 조직개발에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 조직개발 전략으로 팀제의 안착, 지식경영과 학습조직문화의 개발, 전략적 계획의 수립을 제시하였다.

Dr. Ranganathan's "Principles for Helpful Sequence" among the set of normative principles play an exclusive role in the arrangement of subject isolates. Each subject in the universe of subjects is regulated by a guiding principle of its own which analogously determines the sequence of Arrays in ordering the subject surrogates or isolates. For example, the "Principle of Later-in-Evolution" is applied for sequencing isolates of Animal and Plant Species; this concept can be applied to one of the tools of KOS viz. Taxonomies. The application of Principles for Helpful Sequence is summarily presented and in the process the paper highlights the inherent elements of knowledge organization in each one of these principles in a manner that might map the future course of research in this area with the potentiality to bring about a relation between principles for helpful sequence and KOS.

The purpose of this study is to propose a model built on the theoretical foundation of ecological sensitivity applicable to group and coaching process for organization members in industry management environment. For this, I have looked into theoretical foundation basis-foundation required for the ecological sensitivity process based on ecological discourse, based on which I have proposed a process model. The ecological basis-foundation with regards to ecological sensitivity dealt with in this paper includes 1)Crisis awareness, 2)Acquisition of ecological unconsciousness, 3)Fostering green imagination and 4)Setting targets.

According to Resource Dependence theory, an organization's behavior and strategy is affected by external resources. An organization has diverse resources interacting with environment. Because organization cannot focus on all those resources, it concentrates on its critical resources. In market environment, firm responds to other firms by controlling their internal critical resources or manages interdependency with environment to get market share. Thus Firm should choose best behavior and strategy when internal and external resources are change. When new brand enters, incumbents might change their strategy to protect their market share depending on critical value. More precisely, incumbents sharing market with entrant respond, but incumbents having competitive internal resources do not. In this article, we study incumbent's responses to a new brand entry and long-term effect. We show that how incumbents change their price strategy in reaction to the new brand' entry and also show these responses vary depending on interdependency of internal resources and external environments and ownership.

Treating genomes just as languages raises the possibility of producing concise generalizations about information in biological sequences. Grammars used in this way would constitute a model of underlying biological processes or structures, and that grammars may, in fact, serve as an appropriate tool for theory formation. The increasing number of biological sequences that have been yielded further highlights a growing need for developing grammatical systems in bioinformatics. The intent of this review is therefore to list some bibliographic references regarding the recent progresses in the field of grammatical modeling of biological sequences. This review will also contain some sections to briefly introduce basic knowledge about formal language theory, such as the Chomsky hierarchy, for non-experts in computational linguistics, and to provide some helpful pointers to start a deeper investigation into this field.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of content and formal schemata for processing the scientific texts which encompass the human knowledge of the physical world. In general, schema theory is based on the culture-oriented background of a text. From this point of view, the problem as to whether both content and formal schemata are applicable to the comprehension of a scientific text deserves a focal attention in terms of information processing modes. The results of empirical study indicate that whereas the universality of general knowledge content about the natural world attenuates the tenets of schema theory, the rhetorical organization of scientific texts encourages the application of the schema-based approach; the reader's familiarity with the structural patterns of a text facilitates his reading comprehension.

A 'TEXT' is a basic unit of culture. It is also the whole of culture organization which is generalizing a culture. Literary texts which are reflection of the culture could be understood as historical discourse. This thesis which is based on the 'Semiotic theory', 'Victor Turner's Performance theory', and Sung Man Lee's 'Information Model', classified the type of meaning to explain how to communicate the meaning of thing which were described in novels, for examples, background, dress, dialogue, era, etc. An interpreter (reader) should understand the culture described in novels to clarify the ambiguous significance. An interpretative theory of symbolic meaning described in text was presented in this thesis, and it was applied to analysis Myung Hee Choi's novel, 'Honbul'.
