정보기술구조유형이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직구조와 통제시스템의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (Influences of Information Technology Structure Taxonomy on Business Performance - Moderating Effect of Organization Structure and Control System -)

  • While the value of information technology has long been a hot issue, few solid results have been found as of yet. It is partly due to methodological factors and model underspecifcation. This study empirically develops a ITS(information technology structure) taxonomy and investigates the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance in the Korean firms. Among factors that impact business performance, organization structure and control system are selected and they are hypothesized to moderate-the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance. By surveying 91 manufacturing firms and applying hierarchical cluster analysis, four ITS are identified : centralized, decentralized, centralized cooperative, decentralized cooperative. ANOVA, correlation analysis and crosstable analysis say the presence of moderating effect of organization structure and control system. Cooperative ITS is best in business performance. Centralized ITS is related to functional organizational form. Decentralized ITS is related to product organizational form with decentralized decision making, Centralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form. Decentralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form with high integration. These findings have implications for the opportunities and challenges to match information technology with organization structure and control system.

  • In this paper, ways of improving the performances of roundabouts under the assumption that the Advanced Vehicle System is proposed. The situation on a road contains uncertainty and complexity caused by different vehicles having different directions and time-varying traffic flow. This sort of system with high uncertainty is called Multi Agent System (MAS). The MAS is a collective system, including numbers of agents and performs high diversity of the configuration as well as it has nonlinear property and complexity. Hence it is difficult to analyze and control the multi-agent system. A roundabout can be considered as an MAS with numbers of moving vehicles. So it must be difficult to use a centralized control technique to all vehicles in an intersection. Therefore, to improve the performances of roundabouts, multi-agents flow control algorithm for vehicles in Roundabouts using 'self-organization' technique is proposed.

  • The software group in Giant Magellan Telescope Organization (GMTO) is developing the GMT Software Development Kit (SDK) for the device control and the telescope operations. The SDK is dived into the modeling and the operation defining. In the modeling process, Domain Specific Language (DSL) can validate the availability of a model and generate a skeleton code automatically. After the modeling, the developer can simply define the device operation. All devices are connected via EtherCAT, and the SDK simplifies the network connection. This presentation will give an overview of the modeling process and development examples using the GMT SDK.

  • For a good record maintenance according to organization and functions in Korea, it is required to make better use of 'Records Disposition Schedule', which is originally developed as a computerized system that can control the whole records maintenance procedure and manage every record according to organization and functions. 'Records Disposition Schedule' is only a system that allows us to maintain every record according to organization and functions and manage every information about such organization and functions. Accordingly, a well-functioning Records Disposition Schedule requires the exact modification and operation of such schedule depending upon organizational or functional changes. If the Records Disposition Schedule is not reasonably modified and operated depending upon organizational or functional changes, we won't be able to maintain any records in linkage with organization and functions and control the whole works throughout record maintenance.

  • 조직의 성과를 향상시키기 위해 최고경영자의 특성에 맞는 경영통제시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 상황이론에서 경영통제시스템은 다양한 상황변수와의 유기적인 연계를 통해 성과향상을 꾀할 수 있다고 본다. 이에 본 연구는 CEO의 특성변수인 위험감수성향과 성취동기가 행동통제와 결과통제간의 유기적 연결을 통해 재무성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증분석을 통해 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과 위험감수 성향이나 성취동기가 높은 CEO들은 조직구성원들의 구체적인 행동을 통제하므로 써 기업의 재무성과에 더 유의적인 영향을 미친다고 파악되었다. 결과통제는 구성원들의 자율성과 관련된 통제기법으로 기업의 재무적 성과에는 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. CEO의 높은 성취동기는 행동통제를 통해 간접적으로 재무성과에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구는 상황분석이론을 적용하여, 최고경영자(CEO)의 특성과 경영통제시스템간의 적합성이 존재할 때 기업의 조직성과에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 가를 구조방정식을 적용하여 실증 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국의 제조기업들을 대상으로, CEO의 특성을 크게, 위험감수성향과 성취동기로 구분하였고, 경영통제시스템을 행동통제와 결과통제로 구분하였다. 그리고, 조직성과의 경우, 주로 재무적 특성을 지닌 성과를 적용하여 분석하였다. 각 변수들간의 관계에 대해 개별적 또는 종합적으로 분석하기 위해 구조방정식을 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 성취동기와 위험감수성향 중 위험감수성향은 행동통제와 결과 통제에 유의적인 양의 영향을 미치고, 위험감수성향은 행동통제에 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위험감수성향에 음의영향과 성취동기에 양의 영향을 받은 행동통제는 조직성과에 유의적인 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다.

  • Today, Korean Disaster Control System has better change the existed it for substantial prevention and the emergency control system. And it requires the new National Wide Disaster Control System through building up the cooperation system with related posts which are scattered over the National Administration and one-way management for disaster affairs by them. Therefore 119 that might have a lot of technical knowhow should be a center of disaster affairs which will be able to take all rescue, relief(first aid), fire fighting, and preventive affairs. Then it could be a service organization of citizen. Consequently, it will strengthen National Disaster Control ability and it could be a National Wide Disaster Organization which is ready for prevention, preparation, confrontation of all kinds of disasters with absolute reliance by the citizen.

  • This paper describes the method of establishing efficient system for the control of quality records. To establish the best control system of quality records, the organization must not only understand ISO Code requirements for quality record complectly but also identify the documents to be controlled as a quality records correctly. In addition, when establishing the system, the organization must absolutely consider the fact that quality records shall be maintained to demonstrate conformance to specified requirements and the effective operation of the quality system. This will provide the guidance which need to establish the system for quality control to the organization which produces documents in accordance with ISO Code requirements.

  • In the process industries control & organization consist of interconnections on different levels. The process controls that run these industries are a collection of well-defined functions in the form of standard modules interconnected by a communication network. Real-Time(throughput, response time), operator communication, flexibility, back-up and recovery needs have distribute organization of both system hardware and software. Multi-level systems are aften advocated for controlling complex systems, such as, electric, water, oil, gas plants. In practice, these systems encompass computers and person with their various communication requirements and limitations. Hence, Careful mutual adaptation of computer communications and organizational structure is necessary. This paper concentrates on these interactions between process control and organization on the basis of industrial case studies.

어린이집 보육 교사의 자기분화와 내현적 자기애에 따른 조직시민행동 (The Relationship Between Self-Differentiation and Covert Narcissism in Terms of Teachers' Organization Citizenship Behavior in Childcare Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-differentiation and covert narcissism with organization citizenship behavior on the part of teachers in childcare centers. The subjects consisted of 522 teachers who worked in childcare centers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. The data collected were analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression, using SPSS Win 19.0. The results were as follows. (1) Self-differentiation was positively associated with organization citizenship behavior. However when covert narcissism was operating as control, self-differentiation was not associated with organization citizenship behavior. (2) Covert narcissism was negatively associated with organization citizenship behavior. (3) Between both covert narcissism and self-differentiation, only covert narcissism was associated with organization citizenship behavior. (4) There were observable interactional effects between self-differentiation and covert narcissism to organization citizenship behavior.
