A nurse is give much weight in the professions of hospital.The effective achievement of a goal of hospital organization needs to get nurses to contribute the structure positively through the rational personnel management of the nurses.The operation of performance rating system is necessary to improve because the nurses hold negative opinions about the resonable management of that system in most Korean hospitals.Therefore, the prupose of this research was to suggest an efficient method to solve the problem in connection with the management of nurses performance rating system.The results of the study are summarized as follows.1. As the performance rating implies the evaluation of employee's functional accomplishment and ability, and essential condition of the job was surveyed according to the job analysis of nursing activities and nurse position.That is to say, Nusrses' performances and capability is estimated in comparision with the condition of the job. 2. It is required adequacy for evaluation factors in performance rating.That is, $\circled1$ as for those who work in psychiatry or newborn baby room they should be appraied in terms of different factors from those applicable to whom work in a general staffs. $\circled2$ Evaluation factors should be concrete so that the quality and quantity of work and the potential ability of them can be correctly appraised. 3. In order to realize the object of perfamance rating system, the training on chief nurses are quite important. Also, careful practices and continuous supplementary training are required before the system is introduced.First of all, the appropriate evaluation can be mad by continuing to record the rating objects every day for the purpose of obtaining the objectivity of rating. 4. In course of transfering of the position and training, the induction of self-rating system and presentation of self-description is required to supplement functionally the performance rating system. 5. For the efficiency of nurses' performance rating system, the results of performance rating system must be reflected in promotion, allocation and training course, which makes the nurses have the motives and the organization accomplish the goal of modern nursing through its activation.
The achievement of the long-term relationship is commonly executed by a salesperson that is eventually very crucial to enhance the customer retention in the insurance industry. It indicates there is an urgency to improve the competence of salesperson and organization support to build and maintain bonds of long-lasting loyalty with the individual customers. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of planner's competency and organizational support on sales performance, and to verify empirically whether MDRT goal orientation mediating role between competency, organizational support and sales performance. The results of this research are as follows: firstly, product and customer competence, digital competence, network competence positively affect sales performance. Secondly, sales support positively affect sales performance. Thirdly, meditating effect of MDRT goal orientation were significant found between the planner's competency and sales performance. Moreover, in the relationship between sales support and sales performance, MDRT goal orientation have a fully mediated effect. This means customer management through excellent competency, organization support to insurance trend change, and competence development through MDRT goal orientation positively affect sales performance.
The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the ICT legal system and the ICT performance by new technology's investment for government organizational changes. I will show the impact of government ICT investment interest, competency, convergence and process change, and then present policy direction. A research method used the structural equations. As a result of analysis, ICT investment interest and operational competency showed the negative impact the ICT legal system and the role change of ICT process and convergence of new technologies showed the positive impact. The Framework Act on National Information showed the positive impact on organizational performance, but the E-Government Act showed the negative impact. The contribution in the study expanded organization research from MIS perspective, and each organization is required the conflict resolve by ICT investment. A future study will require longitudinal study of ICT capabilities from previous to present government.

PMO has gained much interest as an approach to lowering project failure rates. PMO implementation is, however, not an easy endeavor. Many studies have reported that a significant number of PMOs were seen as contributing little to project performance. Local organizations are more likely to be exposed to the failure risk as they tend to heavily depend upon outsourced PMO services. We believe that it is essential for ordering organizations to collaborate with the PMO service firm to come up with a proper PMO governance prior to its implementation. This study is to empirically investigate the effects of PMO governance upon PMO performance and the effects of ordering organization's project readiness upon PMO governance. The study result shows that a proper organizational structure and a properly defined role and responsibility may enhance the PMO performance. And, a correct awareness about PMO and a project management capability were found to be contributing to the appropriateness of PMO governance.
A corporate university (CU) is an educational institution established by an organization whose primary purpose is not education. Traditionally, a CU is considered a training facility to improve organizational performance. However, the proliferation of the CU has engendered its diverse purposes, roles, and forms. This study attempts to identify three types of the existing CUs: (a) a CU to improve organizational performance; (b) a CU to satisfy employees' learning needs; and (c) a CU to develop a competent national workforce. Also, this study suggests a holistic CU model including the three CU types. In order to transform a CU to a multifunctional CU embracing all three types of CU, organizations should (a) provide communication and collaboration channels, (b) present clear organizational goals, (c) establish organizational policies/systems to encourage learning in CUs, and (d) devise an effective approach to evaluate the impact of CUs. Organization' s critical roles in the development of CUs can assist CUs in becoming the core of knowledge management.

In a contemporary organization, the role of social capital has been increasingly important in sharpening knowledge management practices. The primary objective of this paper is to propose a research model to measure the effects of social capital on individual performance. The model also investigates the mediating mechanism of knowledge acquisition and knowledge transformation, both of which are critical in fostering an enterprise's absorptive capacity. The field data was collected from a knowledge-centric organization. The analysis result reveals that shared goal is crucial in enabling knowledge processes. Furthermore, it is found that knowledge transformation rather than knowledge acquisition is more likely to lead to individual task performance.

A client/server system has become the computing architecture for the business organization which seeks competitive edges. Technically, a client/server system places application processing close to the user and thus increases performance. This paper's two primary goals are (i) to present a performance model for client/server database systems and (ii) to demonstrate analytically the effectiveness of client/server computing in comparison with other computing architectures via an illustrative example. The model is most likely to be used as a practical performance guide for client/server computing.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test validity and reliability of the Korean-Sieloff King Assessment of Group Outcome Attainment within organization in Korea (K-SKAGOAO), and also to explore the relationship of Korean nursing group power and job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational performance. Methods: Participants were 481 nurse managers, nurse unit managers or staff nurses with over 7 years experience. Data were collected by post mail and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test, Tukey test, and Spearman's correlation. Results: Content Validity Index was over .82 and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient for the K-SKAGOAO was .97. The mean score for Korean nursing group power was 136.77 among the total participants, 139.89 among nurse managers, 136.74 among nurse unit managers and 132.47 among staff nurses. These results showed high nursing group power in Korea nursing organization in hospitals. There was also a significant difference according to nurse position (p=.003). Korean nursing group power was positively related to job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational performance. Conclusion: Findings show that the K-SKAGOAO has validity and reliability. Nursing groups can use the K-SKAGOAO to evaluate the nursing group power of each nursing organization and to develop strategies to improve nursing power and nursing outcomes.
The purpose of this research is to examine that internal virtue (i.e. virtue between organizational members) and external virtue (i.e. virtue between organizational members and external members) positively associate with job performance when considering organizational identification, positive work-related identity, affective commitment, emotional exhaustion, and collective self-esteem as mediators. Virtue in organization has received attention as critical attribute of positive organizational scholarship. Cameron(2003) defined the study of virtue as a study of the capacity, attributes, and reserve in organization that facilitates the expression of positive deviance among organization member. In addition, this study contributes to the qualitative investigation on how internal giving virtue (i.e. the employees' virtue for their organization), internal receiving virtue (i.e. virtue employees receive from their organization), external giving virtue (i.e. the organization's virtue for society), and external receiving virtue (i.e. virtue the organization receives from society), used as independent variables, influence job performance after creating research model for the four virtuous behaviors through qualitative research. Therefore, this research contributes to the creation of research model for virtuous behaviors within organizations and virtuous behaviors with external members through qualitative study and sheds light on how these variables influence job performance by virtue of qualitative research.
The purpose of this research was to find out the state of the nursing performance of the home care nurses in Seoul in order to provide the data for the practical work guide. The data were collected from fifty home care nurses working in 22 institutions located in Seoul. The research tool used for this research was modified and tested by Song Jong-Rye(1999) which was originally modified the standard tool of American Nurses Association (1998) and was partly supplement and adjusted for this research. The reliability of this tool was Cronbach's $\alpha$=.0982. The collected data were statistically processed using SAS for t-test, ANOVA. $Scheff\'{e}$ test. Among the surveyees, 50% have been working as a home care nurse more than three years and 74.0% of them were married. And 52% have B.S degree with certification of home care nurse from the certification program for Home Care Nurses affiliated at nursing schools. Half of the home care nursing organizations were based on the general hospitals, and most(78%) of the responsible senior personnels of those organizations were nurses. The following results are drawn from this research. 1) The level of nursing performance by the task sectors General performance level of home care nurses was relatively high in grade of 3.06 from total 4.00. Among the task sectors. the ethical field scored the highest points, and the next were nursing intervention, professional training, and data gathering, and the research sector scored the lowest point. 2) The level of nursing performance by general features of home care nurses Statistically relevant correlation between performance according to the duration of working experience as a nurse(p=0.8951) and performance according to the duration of working as home care nurse(p=0.2263) did not emerge. Also, performance by marriage status(p=0.2218), education(p=0.5733), and taking the certification program for home card nurse(p =0.1560) has no statistically meaningful correlation. 3) The level of nursing performance by the type of home care nursing organizations There exists a significant difference(p=0.002) between performances by the types of organizations. Most of the responsible senior personnels of the home care nursing organization were nurses. The level of nursing performance of the home care nursing organization under nurse management was relatively higher than that of home care nursing organizations led by medical doctors or non-medical professional, but this was not proved as statistically meaningful(p =0.3617). 4) The level of nursing performance by task sectors according to the characteristic of home care nursing service organization There exists a significant difference between nursing performances by task sectors according to the characteristics of home care nursing organization(p=0.002). In case of model research center of one College of Nursing, the nursing performance in the sectors of organization, theory, and data gathering were lower than that of in hospital based home care nursing service. And in case of local home care centers, performances in sectors of organization, theory, data gathering, nursing intervention. professional training, and research sectors were significantly low. Based on the obtained results, overall performance of home care nurses can be appraised as relatively good. Especially, performances in sectors of the nursing intervention, nursing plan. and data gathering including the in direct nursing were recorded high scores. From this, it can be concluded that high quality of nursing is relatively practicing for home patients at these days. Since the high quality of nursing for patients was directly related to the level of nursing performances of home care nurses, it is required to improve practical performance level of them by making constant evaluation and running continual education program and supplementing curriculum for the sectors with low scores.
