  • The molecular structure and dynamics of inclusion compounds (ICs) consisting of n-perfluoroalkane (PFA) guests and ${\Box}-cyclodextrin$ (${\Box}-CD$) host were investigated using $^{19}F$ magic angle spinning (MAS) and $^{1}H{\to}^{19}F$ cross polarization (CP) / MAS NMR spectroscopy with the aid of thermal analyses, FT-IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and $^{1}H{\to}^{19}F$ CP/MAS technique revealed that $C_{9}F_{20}$ molecules included in ${\Box}-CD$ undergo vigorous molecular motion and partly come out of the ${\Box}-CD$ channel above $80^{\circ}C$. In case of $C_{20}F_{42}/{\Box}-CD$, an exothermic peak is observed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) at ca. $40^{\circ}C$ which suggests that ${\Box}-CD$ molecules become mobile and commence rearrangements that form more ordered structures at higher temperatures.

  • This study tried to search for solutions of present problems in architecture through interdisciplinary study which includes biology, literature, aesthetics, and psychology, and set up two models composed of the nature and the human perception which contemporary architecture has problems on. By nature-oriented approach through biology and romanticist literature, the five types of organic principles which could be obtained from structure and order in natural system and by human perception-oriented approach through aesthetic theory of Harold Osborne and perceptual and cognitive psychology the structure and order of perceptual arousal, perceptual balance, and perceptual order in human cognition based on perceptual appropriateness could be found. The unified and organic framework of architectural composition must be considered through a deductive and inductive study as this study was approached. The results of the present study can be applied to construct human-oriented design principles and factors in architectural space and form, and better environmental quality.

  • In this research an organic cation, [TEACOOH] Br, with a long alkyl chain was synthesized which will replace the metal ion between the layers of Na-Montmorillonite and an organophilic [TEACOOH]-Montmorillonite intercalations complex was formed by the cation exchange reaction between the Na-Montmorillonite and the synthesized [TEACOOH] Br. After drying of this intercalations complex in high vacuum we have tried to experiment on the probability whether it will form complexes with various swelling solutions such as dist. water, methano, ethanol, toluene, acetonitrile and propionitrile and the corresponding basal sp acings measured were $17.41{\AA}$, $31.90{AA}$, $34.42{AA}$, $30.52{AA}$ and $32.36{AA}$, respectively.

  • We demonstrate a new approach to form gradient hole injection layer (HIL) in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Single spincoating of hole-injecting conducting polymer compositions with a perfluorinated ionomer results in gradient workfunction through the layer by self-organization, which lead to remarkably efficient single layer polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) (${\sim}21$ cd/A). The device lifetime was significantly improved (${\sim50$ times) compared with the conventional hole injection layer, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxy-thiophene)/polystyrene sulfonate. This solution processed HIL also produced dramatically enhanced luminous efficiency (${\sim}34$ cd/A) in vacuum- deposited green fluorescent OLEDs while the vacuum deposited HIL gave the luminous efficiency of ${\sim}23$ cd/A in the same device structure.

  • The studies on OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode) materials and structures have been researched in other to improve luminescence efficiency of OLED. Electrons and holes are injected into the devices, transported across the layer and recombine to form excitons, their profiles are sensitive to mobility velocity of electrons and holes. A suggested means of improving the efficiency of LEDs would be to balance the injection of electrons and holes into light emission layer of the device. In this paper, we demonstrate the difference of velocity between hole and electron by experiments, and compare with a data of simulation and experiment changing hole carrier transport layer thickness, so we get the optimal we improve luminescence efficiency. We improve understanding of the various luminescence efficiency through experiments and numerical analysis of luminescence efficiency in the hole carrier transport layer's thicknes.

  • The physicochemical properties of the fatty acid monomolecular Arachidic Acid, Stearic Acid films surface structure has been studied by AFM. We give pressure stimulation into organic thin films and then manufacture a device under the accumulation condition that the state surface pressure is gas state, liquid state, solid state. Formation that prevent when gas phase state and liquid phase state measure but could know organic matter that molecules form equal and stable film when molecules were not distributed evenly, and accumulated in solid state only.

  • In this paper, evaluation of physical properties was made for dielectric relaxation phenomena by the detection of the surface pressures and displacements current on the monolayer films of fatty acid monomolecular Arachidic Acid, Stearic Acid using compressing velocity. LB(Langmuir-Blodgett) thin films were manufacture by detecting deposition for the accumulation and the current was measured after the electric bias was applied across the manufactured MIM device. The physicochemical properties of the fatty acid monomolecular Arachidic Acid, Stearic Acid films surface structure has been studied by AFM. We give pressure stimulation into organic thin films and then manufacture a device under the accumulation condition that the state surface pressure is gas state, liquid state, solid state. • The electrolyte, $(HO)_2C_6H_2(SO_3Na)_2H_2O $(Tiron), disperses efficiently alumina powder in aqueous media and stable suspensions with 60 vol% solid loading can be prepared. The strong adsorption of this additive is mainly due to the ability of the molecule to form chelate rings with the particle surface but electrostatic interactions between the surface charge and the anionic dispersant strongly influence the amount of Tiron adsorbed. By using a cationic exchange route to substitute the counter ion which neutralizes the sulfonate groups, new molecules of dispersant have been prepared, either with mineral cations as $Li^+,\; Na+^,\; NH_4^\;+$, or with organic cations as counter ion but organic counter ions lead to less to less viscous suspensions than $Na^+$ in particular when the number of carbon atoms of the aliphatic chain increases from 1 to 3.

  • For ultra-pure water, the removal of various impirities is required, and the requirement level is rising year by year. To cope with this problem, various removing technologies and system technologies have been developed and the introduction of new materials for the piping, etc. to form the system have been positively made. For the element technologies to be used for ultra-pure water production, their range will be expanded from the technological and economic viewpoints. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to develop trace analysis evaluation technologies for ultra-pure water. Especially to raise the analytical level of heavy metals and organic substances is important. It is also important to establish individual analysis methods of organic substances. It is expected that the analytical methods will be established and new treating methods will be put to practical use in the near future.

  • Gel polymer electrolytes were prepared by immersing a porous poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) membrane in an electrolyte solution containing small amounts of polymerizable additive (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene, thiophene, biphenyl). The organic additives were electrochemically oxidized to form conductive polymer films on the electrode at high potential. With the gel polymer electrolytes containing different organic additive, lithium-ion polymer cells composed of carbon anode and LiCo$O_2$ cathode were assembled and their cycling performances were evaluated. Adding small amounts of thiophene or 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene to the gel polymer electrolyte was found to reduce the charge transfer resistance in the cell and it thus exhibited less capacity fading and better high rate performance.
