In order to determine procedures for a, pp.opriate model selection of technological growth curves, numerous time series that were representative of growth behavior were collected according to data characteristics. Three different growth curve models were fitted onto data sets in an attempt to determine which growth curve models achieved the best forecasts for types of growth data. The analysis of the results gives rise to an a, pp.oach for selecting a, pp.opriate growth curve models for a given set of data, prior to fitting the models, based on the characteristics of the goodness of fit test.

DCT or Wavelet based on Image compression technique occurred to compression artifact. In order to remove this problem, we can apply many improvement algorithms. But in these cases, these algolithms resulted in bad results against the good quality image. Therefore this paper proposes an automatic image interpretation technique not to apply to the good quality images. In this paper, we exploit the basic nature of DCT.

Due to increasing demand toward improving product quality, various methodologies have been introduced. A brush type grinding tool is one of the most frequently used one to facilitate required process. In order to produce consistent burr shape, various machining conditions have been combined applied to disk grinding process. It has been observed that the burr dimension(shape and width) depends on the inclination angle between grinding disk and workpiece. Drastic increase of tool Wear has been also observed along the inclination angle variation. Various burr shapes have been captured and analyzed using image processing technique.

In order to obtain the most practical and economically efficient method for refining of kenaf fiber and the production possibility of bag dproucts by using kenaf, Various chemicals and conditions of treatment for refining of kenaf bark were examined. Refining by the retting method was found much beneficial in quality of fiber and in processing cost than the chemical mettled. Bag products by using kenaf bark has good quality , and for practical use, Even if the production cost is slightly more expensive than jute bag, it could be reduced by planned mass production.

This paper is concerned with the production-distribution problem with multiple conflicting objectives. In reality business firms should take account not only of the profit maximization but of various environmental criteria, namely customer services, in order to improve the business logistics. A production-distribution model of goal porgramming type considering the lead time and distribution cost by products is constructed, the solution algorithm is developed, which is based on the Ignizio's method. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability of goal programming for production-distribution problem.

The growing usage of multimedia communication applications with specific bandwidth and real-time delivery requirements has created the needs for quality of service(QoS). In response to the growing demand for an integrated services, the Reservation Protocol(RSVP) has been designed to exchange resource reservation among routers in the internet. RSVP protocol provides the quality of service for real-time applications but the network efficiency is reduced because of the limited bandwidth. In order to use network resources efficiently. We compare the resource efficiency of traditional reservation methods with that of the proposed method and evaluate the performance of the internet phone.

In this paper, cost effective parallel-branch inductor has been proposed and developed in order to increase the quality factor of the conventional spiral inductor. This parallel-branch inductor is composed of only two metals. The presented parallel-branch inductor shows 12% improvement in the quality factor with the same area as the conventional inductor. Also, we improve the parallel-branch inductor for high frequency applications.

The analytical expression for quality function is found including the dependence on disparity. The problem is considered in the projective coordinates for which the forward and backward transformation matrices are found. The formation of side observer regions is considered. The probability of the pseudo stereo effect is also estimated. Testing patterns are improved in order to provide higher accuracy of measurements. This is confirmed in experiments.

In order to establish effectiveness of CA storage and adequate CO2 concentration, it was investigated the quality chanties of Singer during CA storage for 150 days at different CO2 concentrations ranging from 3% to 12% and 3% fixed oxygen concentration. Weight loss tend to decrease with increase of CO2 concentrations. Sprouting ratio and the loss of gingerol was shown to be less as CO2 concentration increase but to be more than control stored at 12$^{\circ}C$, 95% RH within the concentration less than 6% CO2.

In recently, the interest of high strength and flowing concrete, to improve quality and workability of concrete, is gradually increased. In order to make high strength and flowing concrete, many processes may be considered, the water reducing technique using superplasticizer seems to be the most practical, but domestic superplsticizers are not widely used because of economical efficiency, low quality and lack of understanding in construction field. The purpose of this report is to analyze the consumption structure and behavior of domastic acmixtures containing superplasticizer, and to examine about, dessemination of superplasticizer.
