Purpose: This study developed a method of determining priorities for evaluating and revising defense standards. Methods: The proposed data integration and refinement methods are used to obtain component reliability information and to determine the frequency of component citation based on Pareto analysis. Based on the reliability information and the frequency of cited components, the target components for quality improvement can be determined and improved using various methods, such as engineering changes, special meetings, additional training, and revising the maintenance manual. Results: Based on the proposed process, we identified components that need to be improved in order to enhance the quality and reliability. Conclusion: Our process will improve the quality and reliability of weapon systems. The proposed process can be adopted for various weapon systems to enhance their quality and reliability, and to reduce military spending.

The purpose of this study verifies: the relationships between self-leadership and service quality, and mediator effect of the trust in supervisor. In order to verify the relationships and mediator effect, data obtained from 572 workers engaged in medical institutions at Ulsan Metropolitan City were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0, AMOS 5.0. The findings are as follows: First, the relationships between self-leadership and trust in supervisor is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the trust in supervisor and service quality. Third, the relationships between self-leadership and service quality is positively related. Finally, the trust in supervisor played as a partial mediator on the relationship between self-leadership and service quality. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

This study was done to provide the basic information of bread made with curry powder. The amounts of curry powder used were 0 to 3% based on the wheat flour weight. The quality of bread was investigated by evaluation of the specific loaf volume, water absorption capacity, color, sensory quality and texture. The weight of bread decreased with the increase of curry power contents, but there were no significant differences among 0.5, 1 and 2% added curry powder bread. The volume and specific loaf volume also decreased with the increase of curry power contents, but those decreases were not significant between 1% one and 2% one. The water absorption capacities were not affected by the addition of curry powder. The lightness and redness decreased with an increase of curry powder content in the bread, while yellowness increased significantly(p<0.01). The result of the sensory evaluation showed that total acceptabilities of appearance, aroma, texture and taste in the bread with 0.5% and 1% curry powder were significantly higher than the control group and the other groups. Overall quality was negatively affected by the yellowness, odor, hot and bite taste of added curry powder. The factors affecting on the overall quality of the bread with added curry powder were in order of taste quality > curry powder odor > texture quality > aroma quality > springiness > wheat flour odor.

Purpose: In this study, the goal is to analyze this case to prevent the same accidents when using one-shot rifle. Methods: Detailed analysis of damaged parts must first be made in order to determine the cause of the abnormal explosion. The cause of abnormal operation can be determined by analyzing the information of damaged components and the firing mechanism of the weapon step by step. Also we can refer to a statement of shooter, witness and accident scene situation. Based on this theory, cause of abnormal firing can be narrow down. Results: Fracture of pin for fixing firing and latch is cause of abnormal operation of firing. Conclusion: It is deemed that periodic inspection and fundamental improvement of the structure are required to prevent the same accident as this.

In this age of infinite competition, quality control plays a huge part in deciding whether companies survive or not. In order to successfully solve the fundamental questions of quality in corporate management under the given circumstances, I suggest that the followings are vital: 1) continuous training of employees and competence development; 2) advocating employees' voluntary involvements and their will to work; 3) revitalizing quality circle activities. Activities of quality circles, which are organized to work out fundamental problems within the corporation, are important in renovating the existing administration. Thus, the purpose of this study is to understand the degree of influence quality circle activities have on the management outcome of the corporation by analyses of actual proofs, and to raise the importance of these activities. Moreover, it purports to provide the foundation for domestic companies to move toward becoming competitive advantage organizations by endowing them with the motivation to activate quality circles.

The purpose of this study is to establish effective quality control activities to maintain proper operation rates and improve the performance of research and development weapon systems. Quality control improvement measures suitable for the actual conditions of our military were identified by comparing the operational methods and advantages/disadvantages of the domestic quality control systems Defense Quality Management System and Defense Quality mark with those of the systems employed in the US(QPL and QML). In order to ensure the reliability of the weapon system, it is imperative to operate a design-oriented self-quality management system through manufacturing-oriented government-led inspection and to expand and reorganize the certification system divided into manufacturing items and companies.

In this study, there are two research objectives. First, we identified the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction and intention to repurchase in the Internet shopping mall. Second, we tried to analyze the mediating effects of the customer satisfaction on the relationship between service quality and intention to repurchase. Based on past research and theoretical discussions, we developed a research model in terms of service quality and intention to repurchase in the Internet shopping mall. In order to verify our research model, we analyzed 492 survey data of consumers who had experiences in the Internet shopping mall in China. We found that sub-factors of the service quality in the Internet shopping mall have positive effects on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention through the survey data analysis. Among the five factors of service quality in the Internet shopping mall, except assurance, the positive effects of tangibility, responsiveness, empathy and reliability on repurchase intention are statistically significant. In addition, we found mediating effects of customer satisfaction in the Internet shopping mall on the relationship between service quality and intention to repurchase.

These days, many companies use information systems as a basis for organizational management activities and as an important component of sustainable management. Thus, securing and operating a high-quality information system that can improve the efficiency of business processes is a large part of corporate competitiveness. In order to get such a critical information system, it is only possible to successfully carry out the project. Various attempts and studies have been undertaken to increase the success rate of the project. However, the reality is that the success rate is still not getting much better. In this study, the concept of quality of service, which has long been actively studied in marketing area, was applied as a new factor to enhance the project's success. In this study, project performance activities were defined as the act of providing services. A survey of 164 valid collection data was analyzed. The analysis used SPSS 23. Four process quality factors (customer participation, customer response, knowledge and skills, reliability) and 21 metrics were derived. Through this research, I hope to be the starting point of applying process quality concept as a new breakthrough to increase success rate of project.

This present research seeks to explore the empirical evidence about the relation between quality of destination and Islamic attribute of destination on tourist satisfaction. This research was conducted at the tourism sector in West Java, Indonesia. The participants were Muslim foreign tourists who were traveling to West Java, Indonesia. The total number of participants in the research was 200. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling methods with AMOS version 23. The exogenous variables in this research consisted of the quality of the destination and Islamic attribute of destination. Tourist satisfaction was an endogenous variable in this research. We used a quantitative approach and structural equation modeling to examine the research hypotheses. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of the quality of destination on the tourist satisfaction, and the quality of destination positively affected Islamic attribute of destination, but Islamic attribute of destination had no significant effect on tourist satisfaction. We also found that Islamic attribute of destination did not mediate the relation between quality of destination and tourist satisfaction. We provided recommendations to strengthen or improve the quality of destination in order to increase tourist satisfaction.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors influencing quality of life in post-menopausal women. Methods: The participants were 194 post-menopausal women who visited a women's clinic in Changwon, Korea from July 1 to August 31, 2018, and completed questionnaires containing items on menopausal symptoms, marital intimacy, current menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), and quality of life. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the independent t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using SPSS for Windows version 23.0. Results: Quality of life had a significant negative correlation with menopausal symptoms (r=-.40, p<.001), and a significant positive correlation with marital intimacy (r=.54, p<.001). The factors influencing the quality of life of post-menopausal women were current MHT (t=6.32, p<.001), marital intimacy (t=4.94, p<.001), monthly family income (t=4.78, p<.001), menopausal symptoms (t=-4.37, p<.001), and education level (t=3.66, p<.001). These variables had an explanatory power of 59.2% for quality of life in post-menopausal women. Conclusion: In order to improve the quality of life of post-menopausal women, nursing interventions are needed to help menopausal women choose appropriate MHT, alleviate menopausal symptoms, and increase marital intimacy. Interventions should also be prioritized for women of a low educational level and with a low income in consideration of their health problems.
