Evaluation of KOMPSAT-1 Orbit Determination Accuracy

  • For the normal operations, KOMPSAT-1 orbits are determined using GPS navigation solutions data such as position and velocity vectors. Currently, the accuracy of GPS navigation solution data is generally known as on the order of 10~30 m with the removal of S/A. In this paper, an estimate of the current orbit determination accuracy for the KOMPSAT-1 is given. For the evaluation of orbit determination accuracy, the orbit overlap comparison is used since no independent orbits of comparable accuracy are available for comparison. As a result, It is shown that the orbit accuracy is on the order of 5 m RMS with 4 hrs arc overlap for the 30 hr arc.

실내외 위치측위를 위한 Fingerprint 기반 측정오차 감소 방안 연구 (A Study on Measurement Error Reduction of Indoor and Outdoor Location Determination in Fingerprint Method)

  • Location-Based Service(LBS) is a service that provides a variety of convenience in life using location information that can be obtained by mobile communication network or satellite signal. In order to provide LBS precisely and efficiently, we need the location determination technology, platform technology and server technology. In this study, we studied on how we can reduce the error on location determination of objects such people and things. Fingerprint location determination method was applied to this study because it can be used at current wireless communication infrastructure and less influenced by a variety of noisy environment than other location determination methods. We converted the probability value to logarithmic scale value because using the sum of k probability values is not suitable to be applied to weight determination. In order to confirm the performance of suggested method, we developed location determination test program with Visual Basic 6.0 and performed the test. According to indoor and outdoor test results, the suggested stochastic method reduced the distance error by 17%, 18% and 9% respectively at indoor environment and 25%, 11% and 4% at outdoor environment compared with deterministic NN, kNN and kWNN fingerprint methods.

In this study, we studied on how we can reduce the error on location determination of objects such people and things. Fingerprint location determination method was applied to this study because it can be used at current wireless communication infrastructure and less influenced by a variety of noisy environment than other location determination methods. We used the time of arrival(ToA) method in fingerprint location determination method. In order to confirm the performance of suggested method, we developed location determination test program with LAbVIEW 2010 and performed the test. According to indoor test results, the suggested method reduced the distance error by 24%, 34% and 19% respectively at indoor environment compared with deterministic kWNN and Rice Gaussian fingerprint methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to help understanding of patterns and to play a guideline's role in the development of designs and the prediction of trends for present and future fashion designers and textile designers. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through the analysis about actual works. The results of study are like followings. An inquiry of Pattern history in 20c is divided into six periods by the classification of styles and the styles of fashion culture according to other artistic formative will. Main trends of Pattern's image in each period and characteristics in each dimensions of Pattern image positioning are like followings. Art Nouveau style period from 1900 to 1910 is , Art Deco style period from 1910 to 1920 is , Elegance style period of 1930s is , and New Romantic style period from 1945 to mid 1950s and Pop style period from late 1950s to mid 1970s does not show main Pattern image but they are shown in four Pattern image of , , , . Compromising style period from late 1980s to 1990s shows all of four Pattern image, at the same time shows intensive main Pattern's image, .

Fringe-Order Determination Method in White-Light Phase-Shifting Interferometry for the Compensation of the Phase Delay and the Suppression of Excessive Phase Unwrapping

  • White-light phase-shifting interferometry (WLPSI) is widely recognized as a standard method to measure shapes with high resolution over a long distance. In practical applications, WLPSI, however, is associated with some degree of ambiguity of its phase, which occurs due to a phase delay, which is the offset between the phase of the fringes and the fringe envelope peak position. In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed for the determination of a fringe order suitable for samples in which the phase delay mainly occurs due to noise, diffraction and a steep angle. The concepts of the decouple factor and the connectivity are introduced and a method for calculating the decouple factor and the connectivity is developed. With the phase-unwrapping procedure which considers these values, it is demonstrated that our algorithm determines the correct fringe order. To verify the performance of the algorithm, a simulation was performed with the virtual step height under noise. Some specimens such as step height standard and a column spacer with a steep angle are also measured with a Mirau interference microscope, after which the algorithm is shown to be effective and robust.

천리안위성 2A호 지구정지궤도위성 궤도결정 (Orbit Determination of GEO-KOMPSAT-2A Geostationary Satellite)

  • The GEO-KOMPSAT-2A (GK2A) satellite, which was launched in December 2018, carries weather observation payloads and uses the image navigation and registration system to calibrate the observation images. The calibration system requires accurate orbit prediction data and depends on the accuracy of the orbit determination accuracy. In order to find a possible way to improve the current orbit determination accuracy of the GK2A flight dynamic subsystem module, orbit determination software was developed to independently evaluate the orbit determination accuracy. A comprehensive satellite dynamic model is applied for a batch-type least squares filter. When determining the orbit, thrust firing during station-keeping maneuvers and wheel-off loading maneuvers is taken into account. One month of GK2A ranging data were processed to estimate the satellite position on a daily basis. The orbit determination error was evaluated by comparing estimates during overlapping estimation intervals.

인삼 산성다당체의 비색정량 방법과 그 추출조건 및 안정성 (Colorimetric Determination of Acidic Polysaccharide from Panax ginseng, its Extraction Condition and Stability)

  • The method for colorimetric determination of acidic polysaccharide from Panax ginseng was investigated. It is possible to apply the method of carbazole-sulfuric acid to determination of pectin, and also to measure the amount of pectin in the mixture of various high molemlu compounds such as starch. cellulose and gum, etc. When the method of carbazole-sulfuric acid was applied to determine the amount of acidic polysaccharide, optical density at 525 nm increased linearly with an increase in the concentration of pure acidic polysaccharide. Effective extraction temperature with water for the determination of the amount of ginseng acidic polysaccharide (GAP) was $80{\circ}C$. In order to separate or concentrate GAP it was appropriate to precipitate the extract only once with 80% ethyl alcohol. GAP was very stable at $100{\circ}C$ for 4 hrs in aqueous solution and between pH values of 5.0~ 12.0.

  • Determining the total duration for a construction project is an integral part of project management in the construction industry. This is to ensure the project and all its associated activities can be carried out and completed within the time frame stipulated. There are several commonly used scheduling methods and techniques in project management, some of which involves manual calculation while others involve computer software. This paper looks into the various time determination methods, extracting out their differences and similarities. It also seeks to draw out the problems when determining time for projects, especially those encountered of case studies. Based on the results from the case studies, there were delays on certain projects even though time determination had been carried out rigorously prior to the commencement of the projects. This paper seeks to develop a time determination model, which incorporates risk management techniques into the calculations in order to improve the method for time estimation to minimize the chances of project delay.

예비창업자의 자기결정성이 기업가정신과 창업의지에 미치는 영향: 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Relationship Among Self-Determination, Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Intention of University Students in Korea)

  • 위험을 감수하며 혁신적으로 도전하여 커다란 성과를 이루어내는 기업가정신의 부족으로 대학생들이 창업보다는 공무원 및 공공기관 등 상대적으로 안정된 취업에 몰입하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 예비창업자들이 자기결정성과 기업가정신의 고취를 통해서 취업과 더불어 창업으로의 진로를 제언하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비창업자인 대학생의 자기결정성, 기업가정신 및 창업의지 간의 관계를 규명하였으며, 창업교육의 조절효과를 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과 첫째, 예비창업자의 높은 자기결정성(자율성, 유능감)은 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 예비창업자의 높은 자기결정성(자율성, 유능감)은 기업가정신에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 예비창업자의 기업가정신은 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 넷째, 기업가정신은 자기결정성(자율성, 유능감)과 창업의지의 관계에서 완전매개역할을 수행하였다. 마지막으로, 자기결정성(유능감)과 창업의지의 긍정적인 관계는 창업교육을 수강한 집단이 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해, 더욱 높게 나타냈다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 예비창업자인 대학생의 창업의지를 향상시키기 위해서는 대학교육 현장에서 대학생들의 자기결정성을 통한 내재적 동기부여 강화가 필요하다. 이때 창업의지의 고취는 예비창업가의 자기결정성을 향상시키는 노력과 동시에 창업교육을 통한 기업가 정신의 향상을 위한 노력이 병행되어야 한다. 이를 위해서 예비창업자의 개인심리적 특성 함양을 위한 창업교육, 내재적 동기부여 강화를 위한 자기주도적 성인교육기법의 적용, 창업교육전문가의 육성을 통한 창업교육의 전문화, 직업교육 또는 진로교육으로서의 창업의 일상화 및 지원제도가 대학교육에서도 마련되어야 할 것이다.

Rayleigh-Ritz procedure for determination of the critical load of tapered columns

  • EC3 provides several methodologies for the stability verification of members and frames. However, when dealing with the verification of non-uniform members in general, with tapered cross-section, irregular distribution of restraints, non-linear axis, castellated, etc., several difficulties are noted. Because there are yet no guidelines to overcome any of these issues, safety verification is conservative. In recent research from the authors of this paper, an Ayrton-Perry based procedure was proposed for the flexural buckling verification of web-tapered columns. However, in order to apply this procedure, Linear Buckling Analysis (LBA) of the tapered column must be performed for determination of the critical load. Because tapered members should lead to efficient structural solutions, it is therefore of major importance to provide simple and accurate formula for determination of the critical axial force of tapered columns. In this paper, firstly, the fourth order differential equation for non-uniform columns is derived. For the particular case of simply supported web-tapered columns subject to in-plane buckling, the Rayleigh-Ritz method is applied. Finally, and followed by a numerical parametric study, a formula for determination of the critical axial force of simply supported linearly web-tapered columns buckling in plane is proposed leading to differences up to 8% relatively to the LBA model.
