Reliability-based design approaches are needed for cylindrical shell structure whose design and operational experiences are few and which are subjected to external loads of random loads. In designing new type of structure, it is very difficult to evaluate the safety factors due to lack of previous design data and operational experience. To solve the above mentioned problem, much attention is being focussed on rational reliability based design approaches. This paper deals with weight-optional reliability-based design of cylindrical shell structure subjected to structural reliability constraints taking into account of the effect of local buckling and interactive behavior between local and global buckling. Present mentioned is compared with the exiting optional design method based only on safety factors. Numerical simulation reveals that the present method leads to lighter structure (4% reduction in weight compared to the existing optimal design) with the same reliability index. For larger structures with more number of structural members and possible failure modes, the present W0RBD procedure will be an efficient tool in designing cost-effective rationalized economic design.

The harness design process consists of repetitious routines to decide the wire configuration in its interior. A slight change in one of the wire's configuration will require a total reconfiguration of the entire wire system. Therefore, the harness design is extremely time consuming and is vulnerable to human errors by an engineer. Based on both electrical and mechanical area, Wiring Harness system is in complicated area. Existing systems are, therefore, not exactly suitable for practical use. This paper presents a novel framework for ameliorating existing system's defects. In this paper, Visio and Visual Basic was interfaced to process wire bundle information and wire bundle location to alleviate problems mentioned beforehand concerning harness design; at the same time developing the automation of the entire design process based on the feature based design method, optional print, and management of documents for reuse.

In case of the welding process, a conventional production method of gate valve, it has a merit of light weight, but also a demerit of high production cost and an impossibility in mass production due to work by hand. However, in case of the forging process, it has economic merits and can take a mass production process, too. The main focus of this paper is the optimization of preform in the forging process. This paper proposed an optimal design to improve the mechanical efficiency of gate valve made by forging method instead of welding. the optional design is conducted as application of real response model to Kriging model using computer simulation. Also, from verification of the response model with optimized results we were confirmed that the applications of Kriging method to structural optimum design using finite element analysis and equation are useful and reliable.

A method of determining an optimum blank shape for the non circular deep drawing process is more investigated and applied to the balnk design for multi-stage deep drawn product. The forming procedure of two-stage deep drawing process is looked over and the method of determining a blank shape is proposed. In experimental research, a optimum blank and a optional rectangular blank were considered and we measured thickness strain distributions. We could predict a strain distribution and compare with a experimental strain distribution. Also, the strain distributions for the blank shapes, optimum and rectangular, were compared.

본 논문에서는 EXT3 파일 시스템의 Ordered mode 선택적 압축 알고리즘 기법 적용을 제안한다. 시스템이 비정상적으로 종료되거나 오류가 발생할 경우 수정 중이던 데이터가 손실되거나 기존 데이터의 복구가 불가능하게 될 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 저널링 파일 시스템이 사용된다. 저널링 파일 시스템은 저널 이라는 추가적인 공간을 사용하여 관리한다. EXT3 파일 시스템은 가장 널리 사용하는 저널링 파일 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 기존 EXT3 파일 시스템의 파일 쓰기 수행 시 저장장치의 효율적인 공간 활용을 위하여 선택적 압축 알고리즘 기법을 적용을 제안한다.

Circulation planning for exhibition space depends on visitors, exhibition documents and exhibition space. To make visitors feel sympathy for the exhibition and meet visitors' movement and its spatial factors in the exhibition, guidelines for the planning layout of exhibition and exhibition space are needed. This research was aimed at gathering guidelines about the circulation planning for exhibition space for visitors who can acquire exhibition information in a natural way and enjoy the whole aspect of exhibition or enjoy preferential exhibition by investigating and analyzing viewing types of visitors, layout of exhibition and space unit exhibition. The result of this research was summarized as the following. 1) It needs optional viewing space large enough to be seen clearly so that all exhibition space can be seen at a glance at the main entrance of exhibition. 2) Layout of exhibition is needed for island-exhibition position and optional space preparation, when visitors pass by an article on exhibition short-cut. 3) Layout of exhibition is needed for double sided exhibition.

최근 지속되는 사이버 공격의 증가와 개인정보 보호에 대한 인식 강화로 많은 인터넷 서비스는 보안 프로토콜을 사용하여 트래픽을 암호화한다. 기존의 보안 프로토콜은 보통 전송 계층과 응용 계층 사이에서 추가적인 계층을 가지며 전송하는 모든 트래픽을 암호화하므로 추가적인 비용이 발생한다. 이로 인해 기밀성이 요구되지 않는 데이터도 암호화하므로 불필요한 성능저하가 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 응용 계층의 사용자가 기밀성이 요구되는 데이터만을 선택적으로 암호화할 수 있게 지원하는 TCP OENC(Optional Encryption)를 제안한다. TCP OENC는 TCP 옵션으로 동작하여 응용 계층이 요구 할 때만 전송되는 TCP 스트림을 암호화하도록 지원하고, TCP 계층과 응용 계층간의 투명성을 보장한다. 이를 확인하기 위해 구현된 TCP OENC를 개발 보드에서 TCP 세션의 스트림을 선택적으로 암호화하는 것을 검증하였고, 암호화된 스트림의 전송 수행 시간을 측정하여 성능을 분석하였다.

현 안드로이드 스마트 폰에는 통신사, 구글, 제조사들에 의해 제공되는 스마트폰 자체의 기능 및 운영과 관련된 약 25개~35개의 필수앱(삭제불가)과 30개 정도의 선택앱(삭제가능)들이 선탑재 되어있다. 이 앱들은 2014년 1월 정부로부터 스마트폰 앱 선탑재 가이드가 발표되기 이전에는 삭제할 수 없어 새로운 앱들을 설치하는데 메모리에 제한이 있었으며, 해당 앱들의 자동 업데이트 과정에서 데이터를 소모시켜 소비자의 불만을 발생시켰다. 발표 이후에는 선택앱들은 삭제할 수 있도록 하였으나 여전히 데이터 소모에 대한 불만은 사라지지 않아 선탑재 앱 구성에 대한 개선 논쟁은 계속되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 통신사들의 앱 선탑재가 어떻게 운영되고 있으며, 선탑재된 앱들 중 소비자들은 어떤 앱을 선호하고 있으며, 몇 개를 원하는지 등의 행태정보를 데이터와 소비자 조사를 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 소비자 니즈에 맞는 스마트폰 선탑재 앱 구성방안에 대해 제안하였다.

Philippe Starck is a famous french designer known for his creative works in all aspects of life from architectural space to product design. Especially, in regard to furniture, he designed more than 250 works with various design characteristics. This study therefore aims to examinate the characteristics of furniture designed by Philippe Starck through assessment of his design background and philosophy, evaluation of fifty or so of his works in terms of their function, form, material, and emotions, and lastly through a chronological analysis. As a result from this study, following various results are drawn as design characteristic through forty six representative cases: 1) possibility of fabrication and transformation 2) multi-function or optional function for user 3) pursuit of simplicity using the characteristic of singular material or mono block and immateriality 4) emotional approach in design 5) non-design method such as use of archetype or historical form.

The purpose of this study was to prepare some more up-dated and advanced curriculum in Landscape Architecture in Junior College education to bring up a leading professional who can meet the changing social needs. To achieve this goal, the data about the actual employment status of graduates, current relevant systems and legistations, the questionnaires of Landscape companies, graduates and undergraduates, and the current relevant curriculum of domain 6 junior colleges and Japanese relevant curriculum was gathered and analyzed The results are as follows ; 1. Currently the majority of the graduates are employed in Construction field, but the employment trend of graduates shows diversification and subdividing as following 5 fields, that is Construction, Design, Maintenance, Administration and Indoor Landscaping. 2. It is essential to bring up a Landscape Technician who has a Landscape Certificate of qualifications(esp. 2nd class). 3. Lately, the actual Practice came to be one item of the qualifying examination, so the subjects of Landscape Design, Landscape Construction and Landscape Estimation Should be emphasized, Accordingly, current curriculum should be revised. 4. Currant curriculum model(1979) made by the Ministry of Education doesn't play a real and adequate role and should be up-dated in view of the current curriculum of domain 6 junior colleges has no regular standards. In preparation for new standardized curriculum model, following criterior could be suggested, that is, ratio of the Major Required Subjects vs. The Major Optional Subjects would be 50 : 50, and the Major Optional Subject would be 48 credits which is 150% of the Required Credits(32 credits) 5. The subjects such as Basic Agriculture, Afforestation, Nature Conservation, Sketch, Civil Engineering, Landscape Seminar and Modelling Practice would be deleted in the curriculum model established in 1983. 6. The subjects such as Perspective Practice, Indoor Landscaping, Landscape Legislation and Landscape Design( III ) could be newly opened to meet the social needs, to prepare for the qualifying examination and to serve well in the employment fields. 7. The subjects of Surveying ( I ) & ( II ) would be unified into one Subject as Surveying, and some in view of the average situation of 6 junior colleges. 8. It is urgent to open some subject related to computer. At first, An Introduction to Computer could be recommended in the cultural studies course and Landscape Computer Technique as the Major Optional Subjects.
