인삼제품(人蔘製品)의 품질안정성(品質安定性)에 관한 연구(硏究) -3. 홍삼정(紅蔘精), 정분(精粉) 및 정차(精茶)의 흡습특성(吸濕特性)과 적정수분함량(適正水分含量) 기준설정(基準設定)- (Studies on Stability for the Quality of Ginseng Products -3. Determination of Sorption Properties and Optimum Moisture Contents in Extract, Extract Powder and Extract Tea of Red Ginseng-)

  • 인삼제품(人蔘製品)의 품질안정성(品質安定性)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 홍삼정(紅蔘精)(RGE),홍삼정분(紅蔘精紛)SD-RGEP) 및 홍삼정차(紅蔘精茶)(RGET)에 대한 흡습특성(吸濕特性)을 조사(調査)하였고, 또 제품별(製品別) 평형수분(平衡水分) 함량(含量)으로 BET 방정식(方程式)에 따라 단분자막수분함양(單分子膜水分含量)을 구하여 이들 제품(製品)의 적정수분함량(適正水分含量)을 설정(設定)하였으며, 제품별기준수분함량(製品別基準水分含量) 및 현행유통과정(現行流通過程) 중의 수분함량(水分舍量)과 비교(比較)하였다. 1. 홍삼정분(紅蓼精粉)은 단분자막수분함량(單分子膜水分合量)이 4.08${\sim}$4.65%의 범위안에 있으므로 기준수분함량(基準水分含量)을 하향조정(下向調整)하여 적정수분함량(適正水分含量)으로 4.4${\pm}$0.3%로 설정(設定)함이 바람직하다고 사료된다. 2. 홍삼정차(紅蔘精茶)(RGET)는 0.93$\sim$l.37%의 범위 안에서 BET 단분자막(單分子膜)을 형성(形成)하므로 홍삼정차(紅蔘精茶)의 기준수분함량(基準水分含量)(1.2%이하) 보다 0.17%까지 상향조정(上向調整)이 가능(可能)하다고 판단된다. 3. 제품별(製品別) 초기수분함량(初期水分含量)을 조정(調整)하여 학대조건(虐待條件)($48{\pm}2^{\circ}C$, 75% RH)하에서의 저장실험(貯藏實驗)한 결과(結果)는 단분자막수분함량(單分子膜水分合量)보다 높은 량(量)에서도 안정(安定)하였으나 기타의 노화반응(劣化反應)을 고려하여 단분자막수분함량(單分子膜水分含量)으로 설정(設定)하 는 것이 적당할 것으로 판단되었다. 그러나 본 저장(貯藏) 실험(寶驗)은 개선(改善)된 내정(內栓)(Al-foil $11{\mu}m$)을 사용하였기 때문에, 안정성(安定性)이 더 증가(增加)된 것으로 판단되므로 현행(現行) 포장재질(包裝材質)의 개선(改善)이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다. 4. 홍삼정(紅蓼精)(RGE)의 적정수분함량(適正水分含量) 설정(設定)을 위한 미생물생육조사(微生物生育調査) 결과(結果) 어떤 균주(菌株)라도 51 %이하의 수분함량(水分含量)에서는 생육(生育)이 불가능(不可能)하였으나 홍삼정(紅蒙精)의 기준수분함량(基準水分含量)(36.0${\pm}$1.0%)보다 4%정도 상향조정(上向調整)한 40.0${\pm}$1.0%로 적정수분함량(適正水分含量)을 설정(設定)하는 것이 유통과정(流通過程) 중의 점도(粘度)의 증가(增加) 등의 문제점을 다소 완화할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Influence of Silane Coupling Agent on Properties of Filled Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Compounds

  • Influence of silane coupling agent, bis-(3-(triethoxisilyl)-propyl)-tetrassulfide, on cure characteristics and bound rubber content of filled styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) compounds and on physical properties of the vulcanizates was studied. Carbon black-filled and silica-filled compounds were compared. Content of the bound rubber increased with increased content of the silane coupling agent and this trend was shown more clearly in the silica-filled compounds. Optimum cure time of the carbon black-filled compound increased with increase of the silane content, while that of the silica-filled one decreased. Cure rate of the carbon black-filled compound became slower as the silane content increased while that of the silica-filled one became faster. By increasing the silane content, the minimum torque decreased and the delta torque increased. Physical properties of the silica-filled vulcanizate were found to be improved by adding the silane coupling agent. However, for the carbon black-filled vulcanizates, the tensile strength and tear resistance decreased with increase of the silane content. The differences between the carbon black-filled and silica-filled compounds were explained by difference in the reactivities of the fillers with the silane.

CNT 첨가량에 따른 Ni-CNT 복합도금막의 특성 (Characteristics of Ni-Carbon Nanotube Composite Coatings with the CNT Content)

  • Ni-CNT(Carbon Nanotube) composite coatings is were formed by electrodeposition and their physical properties were investigated with variations of CNT content(1, 3, 6. 9 g/L) in the electrolyte solution, while the current density and electroplating time were fixed respectively at $6A/dm^2$ and 90 min.. With increasing CNT content from 1 to 9 g/L, incorporated CNTs into the composite coating were limited from 4.65 wt.% to 7.38 wt.%. Microhardness and contact angle values were increased with increasing CNT content of upto 3 g/L. With increasing the CNT content further, physical properties were degraded due to agglomeration, poor adhesion of CNTs to Ni matrix and thus rough surfaces. Optimum electroplating conditions were found to be the CNT content of 3 g/L, current density of 6 A/dm2 and electroplating time of 90 min.

간장양조용 대체원료에 관한 연구 2 (Studies on the Substitution of Raw Materials for Soy Sauce (II))

  • The possibility of substituting potato or sweet potato for the wheat, one of the raw materials for soy sauce, was studied by measuring the amylase and proteolytic activities of Koji. Also optimum conditions of Koji making were determined. It was found that substitution of up to 30% (starch content) of wheat content (15% of the total bean and wheat content) with potato yielded good qulity of soy sauce. Use of more than 30% potato yielded a Koji of low enzymatic activity. This was attributed to the high moisture content of potato. It ws also found that substitution of up to 50% (starch content) of wheat content(25% of the total bean and wheat content) with sweet potato yieldede a good quality of soy sauce. But the taste was inferior to the control (the soy sauce which was made with 50% of bean and 50% of wheat).

건조바나나 제조를 위한 삼투건조공정의 최적화 (Optimization of Osmotic Dehydration for the Manufacturing of Dried Banana)

  • A three variables by three level factorial design and response surface methodology were used to determine optimum conditions for osmotic dehydration of banana. The moisture loss, solid gain, weight loss and reduction of moisture content after osmotic dehydration were increased as temperature, sugar concentration and immersion time increased. The effect of concentration was more significant than those of temperature and time on mass transfer. Color difference and titratable acidity were decreased by higher concentration. Sweetness was increased by increasing sugar concentration, temperature, immersion time during osmotic dehydration. The regression models showed a significant lack of fit (p>0.5) and were highly significant with satisfying values of R2. To optimize osmotic dehydration, based on surface response and contour plots, superimposing the individual contour plots for the response variables. the optimum conditions for this process wire 26$^{\circ}C$, 44 $^{\circ}$brix and 2 hrs for moisture content, sweetness and color difference are less than 72%, 24 obrix and 10 degree.

Silicate계 Nd : Laser Glass에서 $Cr^{3+}$이온의 Sensitizer 효과 (Sensitizing Effect of $Cr^{3+}$ in Nd : Laser Glass of Silicate System)

  • Inproving laser efficiency, optimum content of Nd3+ which is active ion and effect of Cr3+ as a sensitizer are investigated in 60SiO2.30Li2O.10CaO host glass. The glasses are fabricated with the addition of Nd3+, Cr3+ and then optical properties such as absorption spectrum, fluorescence spectrum and fluorescence lifetime were studied. Finally, lasing efficiency was measured. From this study, optimum content of Nd2O3 appeared to be 3.5wt% and it was observed that the energy absorbed by optical exicitation of the Cr3+ is transfered to the Nd3+. Addition of Cr2O3 tend to improve characteristic of laser oscillation for the laser glass.

Astaxanthin 생산을 위한 Phaffia rhodozyma의 변이균주 선발과 최적 배양조건 결정 (Selection of mutant Phaffia rhodozyma and Determination of Optimum Culture Conditions for Astaxanthin Production)

  • Phaffia rhodozyma is the most promising microbial source of astaxanthin production, though wild-type strains are needed to increase the astaxanthin content for commercial production. To increase astaxanthin content for commercial production, a mutant strain of P. rhodozyma was selected and culture conditions of the mutant selected were optimized. P. rhodozyma was treated with mutagenic agent such as NTG, acriflavine, and UV in serial order and carotenoids hyper-producing mutant strain was selected based on the capabilities of cell growth on the agar plate containing chemical inhibitors and carotenoids production. Among the mutants tested, a mutant WS-2 was finally selected. Mutant WS-2 produced 1.26mg carotenoids/g-dry cell weight and this value was about- 4-folds higher than that of wild-type. The optimum culture conditions were $24^{\circ}C$ of temperature, 1.5vvm of aeration and 300rpm of agitation. In the optimized condition, cell and carotenoids concentrations were 7.62g/l and 14.9mg/l, respectively.

수명배수공법에 있어서 부압의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Effects of Negative Pressure on Horizontal Drain Method)

  • The horizontal drain method is one of methods improving reclamation ground. This method reduces consolidation time by using drained installed horizontally, and negative pressure is applied on end of these drains by vacuum pump. But, effective negative pressure still wasn't evaluated in applying this method to reclamation ground. To estimate optimum negative pressure, soil box test that make a model the in-situ by installing horizontal drains in the center is performed pressing different vacuum pressure In the laboratory, and the variations in settlement and volume of drained water through the drains during consolidation process were measured. Also, water content with distance from drain and with depth is measured after the test.

적정수분 관리를 위한 담배흡습속도에 관한 연구 (Studies on Absorption Ratio of Tobacco for Optimum Moisture Control)

  • 1. Average moisture content of tobacco in BIB silo was about 19: 1% until 4hours conditioned time, and then moisture variation of tobacco after 2hr conditioned was very small. 2. Application of mathematical model for ordering system. 1) The constant K in the exponential equation varies inversely with both relative humidity and equilibrium moisture. 2) Time needed to order blending tobacco leaves with standard moisture from bulking and blending silo was 4 hours. 3) Reconstituted tobacco sheet had higher moisture absorption ratio than Oriental and Burley tobacco. 4) For minimize of conditioning time in BIB silo, the values of K and Mo given in this study can be used in equation(1) to calculate moisture absorption ratio and optimum conditioning time. 3. Average moisture content and water activity of conditioned tobacco for 4 hours in BIB silo was about 20% and 0.65. In this condition. microbial life will inhibite 4. Physical properties of conditioned tobacco in bulking and blending silo for 4hours was virtually no change.

동치미의 맛 성분에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flavor Compounds of Dongchimi)

  • To study the most optimum condition of Dongchimi, the various Dongchimi distinct from the amount of salt, the temperature of fermentation and the ratio of radish to water were examed by sensory evaluation. Also, the content of volatile organic acids and nonvolatile organic acids were investigated by GC, the content of sulfur compounds by GC/MS. Volatile organic acids were identified with those butyl esters and nonvolatile organic acids were done with those TMS derivatives. Sulfur compounds and those decomposed products were extracted by steam distillation In results, the most optimum conditions ware salt 2.4% fermented temperature $4^{\circ}C$, ratio 1:1.5. Volatile organic acids detected were formic, acetic acid, and the amounts were effected by saltness. Nonvolatile organic acids detected were lactio, malio, fumario, tartario acid. Lactic acid was thought to effect overall eating quality. Sulfur compounds were almost the isothiocyanate groups in raw radish, which little in fermented Dongchimi.
