For orthodontic tooth movement, optimal orthodontic force should be maintained without periodontal breakdown and alveolar bone should be remodeled physiologically Therefore, To obtain proper occlusion through tooth movement within alveolar bone, we should know the biomechanics of teeth and supporting 4issues. The present study was performed to observe histologic changes of periodontal tissue immediately after application of orthodontic force and during the retention period in growing young adult dogs. In this study, experimental group contained between mandibular left canine and 1st molar and control group contained contralateral teeth of same animal. The .018'x.022' stainless steel closed coil spring(Dentaurum Co.) was ligated on the experimental teeth at initial 200gm-force from mandibular canine to 1st molar The animals(4 to 6 months aged young adult dogs) were sacrificed on 0, 14, 28 days after the finish of appliance activation, and then tissue samples were divided into hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining section, ground section, alkaline phosphatase(ALP) staining section, and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRAP) staining section. Thereafter, the preparations were examined under light microscopy The following results were obtained: 1. Immediately after the finish of appliance activation, the periodontal space was increased in tension side, but decreased in pressure side compared to that of control. The hyalinized zone was also observed in the periodontium. 2. After the 14-day retention, peridontal space was decreased in tension side and slightly increased in pressure side compared to that of immediately after the finish of appliance activation. The hyalinized zone was repaired and a few osteoblasts showing slightly new bone formation were seen. Osteoblasts were scarcely observed along the alveolar bone. 3. Aftter the 28-day retention, the periodontal fibers are normally repaired. A lot of TRAP(+) osteoclasts md increased alveolar bone resorption were observed in pressure side, and AP(+) osteoblast and increased new bone formation were observed in tension side.

The objective of this study was to examine the effect of photoperiod and light intensity of RBW LED (red:blue:white = 2:1:1) on the growth of Taraxacum coreanum Nakai in a fully artificial light type plant factory. 3 photoperiods and 4 light intensity were used respectively in a fully artificial light type plant production system. Plants were cultured with three photoperiods and four light intensity regimes (conditions) for 270 and 120 days, respectively, using nutrient film technique (NFT) or aeroponics culture methods. For each photoperiod, the total leaves per plant harvested 8 times in all cultivation period was 224 in the 16/8(day/light) photoperiod that had no significant difference from 220 in the 12/12 photoperiod and the lowest number of leaves was 151 occurred in the 8/16 photoperiod, which means that the longer photoperiod, the more leaves harvest. Total fresh weight of above ground was the high in order of in 16/8 photoperiod as 125g, 12/12 photoperiod as 91g, 8/16 photoperiod as 56g. For each light intensity, the total leaves per plant harvested 4 times in all cultivation period was the great in order of $150{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 123, $200{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 107, $100{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 95, $50{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 56 which was the smallest number of total leaves harvest. Total fresh weight of above ground per plant was the high in order of $150{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 43.6g, $100{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 34.6g, $200{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 32.2g, $50{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ as 18.2g. From these results, it was concluded that photoperiod of 16/8 and light intensity at $150{\mu}mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$ can be used as the light condition of RBW LED (red:blue:white = 2:1:1) for optimal growth of Taraxacum coreanum Nakai in a fully artificial light type plant factory.
This study examined the sustainability of CO2-rich water by analyzing the water level and water quality change pattern with the amount of its use in Angseong area, Chungju. The origin and supply of CO2 component were discussed in consideration of 87Sr/86Sr ratio, occurrence of CO2-rich fluid inclusions in nearby W-Mo deposits and other surrounding geological characteristics. According to the data from 1986 to 2017, the depth of the water level of CO2-rich water was significantly lowered in the late period (2009-2015) than in the early period (1986-1992) of the development of hot spa wells, and the optimal yields for pumping tests also showed a tendency to gradual decrease. Concentrations of CO2 component also decreased continuously in the later stages compared to the early stages of development, but it has been stable since 2012. It is inferred that the geological environment related to forming W-Mo quartz vein deposits (0.5×1.5×several km) around the study area are largely involved in the origin and supply of CO2 component, and the supply of CO2 component is not infinitely supplied from deep current magma activity. Rather, since it is finitely supplied from a restricted subsurface region formed in the past geological period, it is necessary to efficiently control its use in order to maintain the sustainability of CO2-rich water in the study area.

This study was designed to test the effects of comprehensive rehabilitation management on functional recovery after attack of cerebrovascular disease. 16 cerebrovascular disease patients applied comprehensive rehabilitation management of physical therapy at department of physical Therapy, C medical center in Gwang-ju. The collection of the data had been executed for 4months(April 15, 2007${\sim}$July 15, 2007). For evaluating, Functional Independence measure(FIM) and Somatosensory Evoked Potential(SSEP) were used to assess functional recovery. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In the comparison of latency of median nerve SSEP before and after treatment, the lat. N20 and P25 increased, the ampl. P25/N20 was decreased. In the comparison difference data of median nerve SSEP, however there was no significant difference in the group(p>0.05). 2. In the comparison of latency of Post Tibial nerve SSEP before and after treatment, the lat. P40, P50, P60 increased, the ampl. P40 was decreased. In the comparison difference data of post tibial nerve SSEP, however there was no significant difference in the group(p>0.05). 3. In the comparison of FIM scores of Self-care, Sphincter Control, Mobility: Transfer, Locomotion before and after treatment, the scores of FIM was significantly increased. In the comparison of difference of the motor part of FIM, however there was significant difference(p<0.05). 4. In the comparison of FIM scores of Communication, Social Cognition before and after treatment, the scores of FIM was significantly increased. In the comparison of difference of the motor part of FIM, however there was no significant difference in the group(p>0.05). Based on these results, it is concluded that the comprehensive rehabilitation management for cerebrovascular disease case was not significant difference in the SSEP, was significant difference in the motor part of FIM. Further study should be done to analyze the effect of intervention duration of treatment, optimal time to apply the treatment in more long period.
Due to relatively high permittivity of water in soils, we placed the soil condenser into soils to measure the soil moisture content. The soil condenser was made with two insulated iron sticks. The capacitance of the soil condenser was determined by the pulse period from RC type oscillation circuit and the highest voltage output accepting 10MHz pulse. After zero point adjustment, the measured relative capacitance percentage (RCS) to the standard condenser obtained by the oscillation circuit almost linearly correlated with the end depth of the sensor submerged in water. The RC type oscillation was disturbed by many sensor installed in a close distance in one place, presumably resulting in that the sensor sticks played as a interfering antennas generating or accepting electron waves from them. The temperature dependance of the output from the sensors could be corrected through experimentally determined revision function. Although lineal correlation was found between soil moisture and RCS, users should derive their own correlation function for every sensor to measure soil moisture, because the outputs were influenced by the installation depth and layout in the soil. The voltage type sensor responded inversely with soil moisture content and so was not suitable to the accurate measurement of soil moisture, but allows high economic benefit in various application such as simplified measurement of soil moisture and irrigation line control because of its low component count. The voltage type moisture sensor could be reinforced by relay controlling circuit to open and to close the solenoid valves respectively at optimal limits of the least and the most soil moisture according to user's adjustment.
The bacterial strain was isolated from the 4th day's fermented Dolsan Leaf Mustard Kimchi(DLMK) at $20^{\circ}C$/TEX>. It was used as Kimchi starter, and then its physiological activity was investigated for 50 days at $4^{\circ}C$/TEX> and $10^{\circ}C$/TEX> The physiological activity of DLMK was examined for both antioxidative and Angiotensine Converting Enzyme(ACE) inhibitory activity. In the starter-inoculated DLMK(1 X $10^{10}$ CFU/mL) at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$, the optimal ripening period was more shortend than that of control(without starter) up to about 5.6 and 5 times, respectively. The maximal antioxidative activity in the starter-inoculated DLMK(1 X $10^{10}$ 10 CFU/mL) at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$ were 67% and 75%, respectively. The yield of cell concentration per day($lnX_{max}$/$t_{max}$) and the yield of antioxidative activity per day($P_{max}$/t$t_{max}$) had a linear relationship. Also, the yield of antioxidative activity per day was increased with increasing the concentration of inoculated bacterium. By adding 1 X $10^{10}$ CFU/mL at 4 and $10^{\circ}C$, the ACE inhibitory activity of DLMK was maximal. The rates of inhibiting activities were 52% and 76%, respectively. Consequently, physiological activities were significantly affected by the inoculation concentrations of starter, but bacterium itself was not appeared the physiological activity. We assume that the bacterium metabolizes certain materials in DLMK and released compounds such as glucosinolates or its metabolized forms from DLMK show the antioxidative and ACE inhibitory activity.
The following paper concentrates on the objective of studying the influences of extent of duration and temperature on the Pozzolanic properties as well as reactivity of locally existing natural clay of Nai Gaj, district Dadu, Sindh Pakistan. The activation of the clay only occurs through heating when temperature in a furnace chamber reaches 600, 700 and 800oC for 1, 2 and 3 hours and at 900 and 1000℃ for 1 and 2 hours. Furthermore, the strength activity index (SAI) of advanced pozzolanic material happens to be identified through 20% cement replacement for different samples of calcined clay as per ASTM C-618. The compressive strength test of samples had been operated for 7 and 28-days curing afterwards. The maximum compressive strength had been seen in mix E in which cement was replaced with clay calcined at 700℃ for 1 hour that is 27.05 MPa that is 24.31% more than that of control mix. The results gathered from the SAI verdicts the optimal activation temperature is 700℃ within a one-hour time period. The SAI at a temperature of 700℃ with a one-hour duration at 28 days is 124.31% which happens to satisfy the requirements of the new Pozzolanic material, in order to be applied in mortar/concrete (i.e., 75%). The Energy- dispersive spectrometry (EDS) along with the X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been carried out in means of verifying whether there is silica content or amorphous silica present in metakaolin that has been developed. The findings gathered from the SAI were validated, as the analysis of XRD verified that there is in fact Pozzolanic activity of developed metakaolin. Additionally, based on observation, the activated metakaolin holds a significant influence on the increase in mortar's compressive strength.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify prognostic factors for locoregional recurrence (LRR) in pT3N0 rectal cancer patients who were treated with surgery alone and had negative resection margin including circumferential resection margin (CRM) for optimal indication of adjuvant radiotherapy. Materials and Methods: We reviewed patients with pT3N0 rectal cancer who were treated via upfront surgery and had no other adjuvant treatment from January 2003 to December 2012. In total, 122 patients who had negative resection margin including negative CRM were included in the analysis. Results: The median follow-up period after surgery was 60 months (range, 3 to 161 months). During this time, 6 patients (4.9%) experienced LRR at the anastomotic site (4 patients), and regional lymphatic area (2 patients). The estimated 5-year rates of overall survival, recurrence-free survival, and LRR-free survival were 96.7%, 84.6%, and 94.0%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that level of tumor ≤5 cm was a significant prognostic factor for LRR-free survival (LRRFS) (p = 0.04; hazard ratio = 7.08; 95% confidence interval, 1.06-47.30). Patients with level of tumor ≤5 cm had an estimated 5-year LRRFS of 66.8%, which was much higher than 2.3% in patients with level of tumor >5 cm. There was no significant factor for recurrence-free survival or overall survival. Conclusion: In T3N0 rectal cancer, adjuvant chemoradiotherapy should be recommended in patients with level of tumor ≤5 cm for better local control. However, in patients with pT3N0 disease, negative resection margin, and level of tumor >5 cm, adjuvant chemoradiotherapy should be carefully suggested.

As an increasing demand for rapid railway transportation, the construction of sidetrack is inevitable to operate local and express trains simultaneously. However, the current technologies for the sidetrack construction method require a long construction period by interrupting the operation of the existing subway line, as well as cause a huge economic loss. Thus, it is necessary to study the sidetrack construction method under the special situation that the subway is in operation and to analyze the risk of the existing tunnel enlargement process for the sidetrack construction. Therefore, in this paper, the Government Complex Gwacheon station on Subway Line 4 was considered as a target station for the virtual sidetrack construction and the optimal sidetrack construction plan was derived. Subsequently, the application of risk management process was carried out in the order of identifying risk, risk response planning, performing a risk analysis, risk monitoring and control for potential risk events during the construction of sidetrack under the subway operation. A total of eight potential risk events and risk mitigation methods were selected, and a risk assessment matrix was established using the five-step risk probability and impact level criteria to perform the risk assessment including residual risks. Based on the results of the risk assessment, the risk grade and the reduction effect of each risk mitigation method were confirmed.

It is necessary to predict the heating load in order to determine the optimal scheduling control of district heating systems. Heating loads are affected by many complex parameters, and therefore, it is necessary to develop an efficient, flexible, and easy to use prediction method for the heating load. In this study, simple specifications included in a building design document and the estimated temperature and humidity are used to predict the heating load on the next day. To validate the performance of the proposed method, heating load data measured from a benchmark district heating system are compared with the predicted results. The predicted outdoor temperature and humidity show a variation trend that agrees with the measured data. The predicted heating loads show good agreement with the measured hourly, daily, and monthly loads. During the heating period, the monthly load error was estimated to be 4.68%.
