  • Two methods for probabilistic maintenance scheduling are developed and compared ; one with operation and supplied-shortage cost and other with risk level of LOLP. Based on the real economic power dispatch, quadratic optimal maintenance conditions are obtained and simple amtrix equations are suggested for solutions. Both methods are compared in a sample system of 26,000 [MW] peak and 32,000 [MW] generation capacity.

  • 반응증류 공정은 전형적인 반응공정과 증류공정을 통합하여 증류탑에서 반응과 동시에 분리를 수행하는 공정이다. 반응증류 공정의 가장 큰 장점은 반응 전환율의 제약과 공비점으로 인한 제약을 효율적으로 극복할 수 있다는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 에스테르화반응으로 얻어지는 대표적인 물질인 메틸 아세테이트를 합성, 생산하는 연속 반응증류 공정의 상세한 수학적 모델을 구성하여 동적 모사 및 동적 최적화를 수행하였다. 상평형을 가정한 평형단 모델에 반응속도 식을 적용하여 분리와 반응이 함께 일어나는 증류탑과 재비기 및 응축기를 수학적 모델로 구성하여 동적모사를 수행하여 실제 공정이 운전되는 시나리오대로 공정전체를 모사함으로써 공정 개시부터의 공정의 동적 특성을 살펴보았다. 이 동적 모델과 연계되어, 반응증류 공정으로 얻어지는 메틸 아세테이트의 순도를 목적함수로 하는 최적화 문제를 구성하여 그 결과로 최적의 원료주입 분율 및 재비기의 열량 및 환류비 등을 구할 수 있었다. 또한 여기서 얻어진 운전 변수의 값을 변화시킬 때 반응 전환율의 변화를 살펴봄으로써, 최적화 문제의 해로 구해진 운전 변수의 값의 타당성을 증명하였다.

  • In this paper, the optimal maintenance scheduling for turbine with considering maintenance replacement rate was proposed in order to reduce the maintenance cost during the whole period of operation, meanwhile keeping current reliability of turbine. The proposed method is only based on a few limited available data with various factors relating to maintenance replacement and repair of turbine. The proposed method will be adopted by Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. from April in 2002 to determine the maintenance schedule of thermal power plants.

  • This study deals with the derivative adverse minimum for inferiority system depends on continuose operating under infinite planning horizon. This planning will be accomplished by maintenance limit renewal policy in consideration of opportunity cost which affects system by failure during operation periods and expected cost under nomal operation states. By the results, we will be expected incresing total efficiency for the system by optimal renewal policy.

  • Simulation is known to be a valuable tool for design and operation of Flexible Manufacturing Systems(FMSs) under study. However, in order for simulation to be useful, lots of knowledges about the behavior of system to be designed, statistics for output analysis, modeling techniques and a specific simulation language are required by the simulationist. In this paper a way to build simulation support system for nonexperts at simulation will be described and a simulation support system for FMS design and operation developed by the authors will be demonstrated.

  • 하천유역 면적강우량 산정의 정확도를 개선하기 위하여 기존 강우관측자료의 통계적 특성을 이용한 강우관측망의 최적설계방법을 연구하였다. 최적설계를 위한 목적함수는 면적강우량의 추정오차 및 지점강우량 관측비용의 항으로 구성하고, 그 값이 최소인 관측망은 선정하였다. 통계f7파의 추정방법으로는 통계적 분산 산정방법인 크리깅 모형을 채택하였다. 비용은 강우관측소의 설치비와 연간운영 비론 적용하고, 오차항과 비용항의 통합에는 등치매개변수를 이용하였다. 연구된 최적설계방법을 댐 신설로 강우관측소 증설이 필요한 용담댐 유역에 적용하여, 대상유역의 최적 강우관측망을 제안하였다.

Optimal Energy Shift Scheduling Algorithm for Energy Storage Considering Efficiency Model

  • Energy shifting is an innovative method used to obtain the highest profit from the operation of energy storage systems (ESS) by controlling the charge and discharge schedules according to the electricity prices in a given period. Therefore, in this study, we propose an optimal charge and discharge scheduling method that performs energy shift operations derived from an ESS efficiency model. The efficiency model reflects the construction of power conversion systems (PCSs) and lithium battery systems (LBSs) according to the rated discharge time of a MWh-scale ESS. The PCS model was based on measurement data from a real system, whereas for the LBS, we used a circuit model that is appropriate for the MWh scale. In addition, this paper presents the application of a genetic algorithm to obtain the optimal charge and discharge schedules. This development represents a novel evolutionary computation method and aims to find an optimal solution that does not modify the total energy volume for the scheduling process. This optimal charge and discharge scheduling method was verified by various case studies, while the model was used to realize a higher profit than that realized using other scheduling methods.
