Purpose: Nasal bone fractures are often classified as minor injury. However, the incidence of posttraumatic nasal deformity remains alarmingly high. It is because of unnoticed septal fracture. This study was conducted to determine the necessity of septoplasty for patients with nasal bone fracture accompanying grade I septal fractures. Methods: Among 105 patients with nasal bone fractures, 52 who had grade I septal fracture were diagnosed based on physical examination and computed tomography. Patients' age ranged from 14 to 65 years (mean 29.25 years), and 35 were male and 17 female. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to surgical treatment methods: patients who underwent closed reduction only (group 1, n=28) and those who underwent simultaneous closed reduction and septoplasty (group 2, n=24). The treatment outcomes were evaluated by comparing changes in nasal airway volume measured by acoustic rhinometry before the surgery, 3 months and 6 months after the surgery according to the timing of surgical repair and surgical treatment methods. Results: Nasal airway volume increased after the surgery by 17.8% in 3 months after the surgery, 25.2% in 6 months in group 1 and by 22.7% in 3 months, 35.8% in 6 months in group 2. The increase in airway volume after the surgery by 26.3% in 3 months after the surgery, 34.2% in 6 months after the surgery in operation within 1 week after trauma and by 12.1% in 3 months, 22.2% in 6 months after the operation later 1 week after trauma. The difference was statistically significant. Three patients in group 1 complained of intermittent nasal obstruction, two of whom showed a decrease in nasal airway volume by acoustic rhinometry. Conclusion: Most patients with nasal bone fractures accompanying grade I septal fractures have been treated with closed reduction in clinical settings. However, the results of this study suggest that septoplasty be performed after a correct diagnosis of septal fracture is made through comprehensive physical examination and computed tomography. Septoplasty is important to obtain more favorable outcomes and reduce complication.

The management of agricultural water can be divided into management of agricultural infrastructure and operation to determine the timing and quantity of water supply. The target of water management is classified as water-supply facilities, such as reservoirs, irrigation water supply, sluice gate control, and farmland. In the case of agricultural drought, there is a need for water supply capacity in reservoirs and for drought assessment in paddy fields that receive water from reservoirs. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the water supply amount from intake capacity to irrigation canal network. The analysis of the irrigation canal network should be considered for efficient operation and planning concerning optimized irrigation and water allocation. In this study, we applied a hydraulic analysis model for agricultural irrigation networks by adding the functions of irrigation canal network analysis using the SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) module and actual irrigation water supply log data from May to August during 2015-2019 years in Sinsong reservoir. The irrigation satisfaction of ponding depth in paddy fields was analyzed through the ratio of the number of days the target ponding depth was reached for each fields. This hydraulic model can assist with accurate irrigation scheduling based on its simulation results. The results of evaluating the irrigation efficiency of water supply can be used for efficient water distribution and management during the drought events.

Correction of the cleft-lip nasal deformity is a difficult task that requires clear understanding of the associated complex anatomy and function as well as the operation time, the selection of an operation method, On the expectation that it helps enhance understanding the current trend of cleft-rhinoplasty, authors analyzed secondary rhinoplasty between 1999 and 2002, In both the unilateral and bilateral cleft lip rhinoplasty, we reviewed the timing of repair, site of correction and it's major technique, incision or approach method, autogenous cartilage graft method, All patients with a septal deviation did not have a septal surgery, We were active in alar and nasal tip surgery and passive in septal and dorsal deformity correction, And for children, we used a conservative method but for adults, we used radical approach, Most surgeries are focused on esthetic goal and we thought that objective evaluation for nasal obstruction was needed for bener and predictable outcome.
It has been contributed to public health that the hospital has multiplied in the aspect of number and has been a large size with development of modern medical science, meanwhile the problem of hospital infection is coming out seriously. Respiratory hospital infection among hospital infections develops, very commonly from patients having taken the operation of intubation or tracheostomy, which results from a big factor that the infection developed from medical appliances used for respiration aids, contamination of solution and infection of medical staff. This study is separated into four steps-the time to use normal saline and distillation water for storaging catheter which are the cause of the infection of solution to store distillation water and catheter, not to say the catheter used when the patient who should get tracheostomy operation takes suction. The purpose of this study is to offer the basic data which are needed to check contamination degree as time goes by and nurse intervention and grope for a new nursing intervention. The target of this study is hospitalized 1D an intensive care unit having 700 sickbeds which is located in IKSAN city and it targeted patients before 7 days passed after an operaion of a tracheostormy. Materials collected were analyzed by SPSS PC+ figures program. The result of this study were as follows ; 1. The gradual contamination levels of the normal saline used In suction are showing that colony increase in proportion to the length of time. 2. while colony increases in normal saline with the lapse of time. distillation water mixed with 5cc of potadine did not show any sign of the formation of colony from its preparation until it was used for 8 hours. 3. Such variables as the period of intubation insertion. the length of hospitalization in I.C.U. the age and the level of contamination of normal saline have no inter-relationship. Therefore. as the length of normal saline used In suction. the contamination level increases with the excelleration of the contamination speed. 4. Regarding the number of suction and the contamination level of the normal saline. We can observe correlation contamination level in the 3 step of suction(mean value:13.4) and the saline which was used for one hours(r=0.702. P=0.00l). four hours(r=0.694. P=0.00l). eight hours(r=0.488. P=0.029). Further we can observe contamination in the 4 step of suction (mean value: 17 .8) well as saline used for eight hours; [for one hours (r=0.64l. P=0.002). four hours (r=0.670. P=0.00l). eight hours (r=0.57 4. P=0.008)]. Thesedays clinics use normal saline by changing it. three times a day. however. the timing of saline change and the current suction methoed should be changed given the one hour used normal saline contamination number 79.850. Regarding the number of suction and the contamination lend of the normal saline.

The present study is to analyze an integral test, BETHSY test 6.9c, which represent loss of RURS accident under mid-loop operation. Both the pressurizer manway and the steam generator outlet plenum manway are opened as vent paths in order to prevent the system from pressurization by removing the steam generated in the core. The main purposes are to gain insights into the physical phenomena and identify sensitive parameters. Assessment of capability of CATHARE2 prediction can be established the effective recovery procedures using the code in an actual plant. Most of important physical phenomena in the experiment could be predicted by the CATHARE2 code. The peak pressure in the upper plenum is predicted higher than experimental value by 7 kPa since the differential pressure between the pressurizer and the surge line is overestimated. The timing of core uncovery is delayed by 500 seconds mainly due to discrepancy in the core void distribution. It is demonstrated that openings of the pressurizer manwey and the steam generator manway can prevent the core uncovery using only gravity feed injection. Although some disagreements are found in the detailed phenomena, the code prediction is considered reasonable for the overall system behaviors.

In this paper, we propose low-power operational methods for thermal-energy-harvesting sensor circuits. Here, the amount of harvested current has been measured as low as 8uA. However the DC power consumption of the sensor circuit is known to consume much larger than 8uA. Thus, We propose the hardware-based power gating and software-based active/sleep timing control schemes, respectively, for controlling the power consumption of sensor circuit. In the hardware-based power gating scheme, if the ratio of Toff/Ton is larger than 22, the sensor can consume less than 8uA. For the software-based active/sleep control scheme, if the ratio of Tslp/Tact is larger than 3, we can suppress the current consumption below 8uA. The hardware-based and software-based schemes proposed in this paper would be helpful in various applications of energy-harvesting sensor circuits, where the power consumption is limited by an amount of harvested energy.

Purpose: To analyze the correlation between a rupture of the hypovascular zone and early single heel raising after Achilles tendon repair. Materials and Methods: From January 2012 to August 2015, 68 patients, who underwent surgical treatment for a Achilles tendon rupture using Krackow method, were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into two groups according to possibility of single heel raises within 3 months postoperatively. During the periodic outpatient observations, the visual analogue scale, Achilles tendon total rupture score (ATRS), and timing capable single heel raises were evaluated. In addition, the preoperative defect size and distance between the calcaneal osteotendinous junction and the rupture site were measured by ultrasound in all cases. Results: Twenty-three patients could perform a single heel raise within 3 months after surgery (early single heel raise group), and fortyfive patients could perform a single heel raise after 3 month postoperatively. The age, gender, body mass index, smoking, and operation delay were similar in the two groups. In addition, the defect size and distance between the calcaneal osteotendinous junction and rupture site as measured by preoperative ultrasound were similar (p=0.379 and p=0.631, respectively). On the other hand, when the rupture site was divided into the hypovascular zone (4~7 cm from calcaneal osteotendinous junction) and non-hypovascular zone, the hypovascular zone rupture rate was significantly lower in the early single heel raise group (60.9%, 14/23; 91.1%, 41/45; p=0.003). In logistic regression analysis, the odds of the hypovascular zone rupture group being capable of early single heel raise were 0.189 (p=0.017). The ATRS score at 3 months and 1 year after surgery were significantly higher in the early single heel raise group (p<0.001). Conclusion: Achilles tendon rupture at the hypovascular zone is a poor prognostic factor for early single heel raise and might affect the prognosis significantly after an Achilles tendon rupture operation.
In this paper, we propose the development of a defect inspection system for polygonal containers. Embedded board consists of main part, communication part, input/output part, etc. The main unit is a main arithmetic unit, and the operating system that drives the embedded board is ported to control input/output for external communication, sensors and control. The input/output unit converts the electrical signals of the sensors installed in the field into digital and transmits them to the main module and plays the role of controlling the external stepper motor. The communication unit performs a role of setting an image capturing camera trigger and driving setting of the control device. The input/output unit converts the electrical signals of the control switches and sensors into digital and transmits them to the main module. In the input circuit for receiving the pulse input related to the operation mode, etc., a photocoupler is designed for each input port in order to minimize the interference of external noise. In order to objectively evaluate the accuracy of the development of the proposed polygonal container defect inspection system, comparison with other machine vision inspection systems is required, but it is impossible because there is currently no machine vision inspection system for polygonal containers. Therefore, by measuring the operation timing with an oscilloscope, it was confirmed that waveforms such as Test Time, One Angle Pulse Value, One Pulse Time, Camera Trigger Pulse, and BLU brightness control were accurately output.
Detect and avoid (DAA) system, which is essential for the operation of UAS, detects intruding aircraft and offers the ranges of turn and climb/descent maneuver that are required to avoid the intruder. This paper uses detect and avoid alerting logic for unmanned systems (DAIDALUS) developed at NASA as a DAA algorithm. Since DAIDALUS offers ranges of avoidance maneuvers, the actual avoidance maneuver must be decided by the UAS pilot as well as the timing and method of returning to the original route. It can be readily used in real-time human-in-the-loop (HiTL) simulations where a human pilot is making the decision, but a pilot decision model is required in fast-time simulations that proceed without human pilot intervention. This paper proposes a pilot decision model that maneuvers the aircraft based on the DAIDALUS avoidance maneuver range. A series of tests were conducted using test vectors from radio technical commission for aeronautics (RTCA) minimum operational performance standards (MOPS). The alert levels differed by the types of encounters, but loss of well clear (LoWC) was avoided. This model will be useful in fast-time simulation of high-volume traffic involving UAS.
In this study, an algal fence was developed and applied to reduce the input of algal scum into the water intake facility. The effectiveness of vertical algal fences(overlapped three types of meshes, (312 ${\mu}m$${\times}$ 375 ${\mu}m$, 390 ${\mu}m$${\times}$ 450 ${\mu}m$, and 0,7 cm ${\times}$ 1cm; vertical depth, 1.5 m; length of fence, about 120 m)) was experimentally tested at a water intake facility (Mulgum, lower Nakdong River). The application of the fence resulted in the statistically significant difference of algal biomass between inside and outside of the fence. According to ANOVA test, chi. a concentration in Day-1showed large difference at each depth of 0, 1, 2 m (0.001> p at each depth, n = 16 respectively). Especially large difference was observed at 0 and 1 m depth. However, the fence was only effective for a short period and its efficiency declined by Day-5after the installation. When better maintenance options for the fence are prepared, e.g. mechanical installation and periodic backwashing of the fence, the performance of algal fence may be sustained. In addition, reliable models for bloom prediction are required to provide an advanced indication of the optimal timing for the installation so that effective operation would be achieved.
