This study analyzed the electric vehicle recharging station status with recharging time limitation due to long waiting time, and figured out the user status by user interviews. And then this study verified the validity of hypothesis in terms of environmental design perspective and suggested layout of recharging station model. 21 recharging stations in Korea and station operation cases of 7 countries were examined. Except for the USA, the reality of electric vehicle recharging station today is the 1st proving stage focusing on the infrastructure construction of electric vehicle recharging station. It focuses on performance of recharging facility, use efficiency and operation environment of electric vehicle. About the effective waiting time of the user to use it should be studied. The current conditions of recharging station are as follows: Lack of independent recharging space, lack of facility that reduces external effect of recharging space, and lack of lounge for users during the waiting time. These three are essential factors constructing a suggesting model after basic layout, which needs proper measurement on the long recharging time and long waiting time. The essential factors are applied to electric vehicle recharging station layout so that users might use 'digital refresh" i.e. lounge and information contents service during the waiting time which provides convenience of recharging and emotional space with users. Such upgrade recharging station environmental model might resolve the burden of long recharging time which may contribute to the popularization of electric vehicles.

This study aims to investigate the usage of the renewable energy systems installed in buildings and make suggestions for the effective management. In this regard, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 1)design and construction, 2) operation and management, 3) user satisfaction and improvements about the renewable energy systems in buildings. Findings from this study can be summarized as follows; a lack of the basic information about systems, non-use of energy management systems, the differences in the features by energy source, and a lack of expertise of managers. The requirements to resolved these problems include the integrated management of various electric heat sources including a renewable energy source, an operation schedule based on the prediction of production and consumption, and so on. Furthermore the necessity of multiplex energy sources management system was confirmed and the basic data needed to establish the targets of this system were obtained.

증후군감시는 감염병 발생 초기에 나타날 수 있는 임상적 증상 발생동향을 감시하여 감염병의 발생을 가능한 조기에 인지하기 위해 고안된 감시체계이다. 한국 질병관리본부에서는 응급실 기반의 증후군감시시스템을 개발하였으며, 현 시스템의 기능을 강화하고자 국외 증후군감시 조기경보시스템에 관한 문헌조사를 하였다. 본 논문에서는 국외 증후군감시 조기경보시스템 운영현황을 설명, 비교하여 한국의 응급실 기반 증후군감시를 위한 조기경보시스템의 개선에 필요한 근거자료를 마련하였다.

환경보호 분야에서는 국제협약의 원활한 이행을 위해 당사국 간의 긴밀한 협조가 요구되며, MARPOL 73/78 상 보고의무는 해양환경보호를 위한 국제협력의 일환으로서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 MARPOL 73/78 상 보고요건의 국제법적 의미에 대하여 살펴보고, 당사국들의 보고의무 이행현황을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 2001년부터 2010년까지 지난 10년간의 MEPC/Circ.318의 각 항목에 따른 MARPOL 73/78 상 보고의무의 이행현황을 분석하였다. 또 다른 한편으로는 이러한 이행현황에 대한 분석을 통해 당사국의 보고의무 준수율을 향상할 수 있는 개선방안을 제시하였다.

The intelligent human-machine interface (HMI) has been developed to enhance the safety and availability of a nuclear power plant by improving operational reliability The key elements of the HMI are the large display panels which present synopsis of the plant status and the compact, digital work stations for the primary operator control and monitoring functions. The work station consists of four consoles such as a dynamic alarm console (DAC), a system information console (SIC), a computerized operating-procedure console (COC), and a safety related information console (SRIC). The DAC provides clean alarm pictures, in which information overlapping is excluded and alarm impacts are discriminated, for quick situation awareness. The SIC covers a normal operation by offering all necessary plant information and control functions. In addition, it is closely linked with the DAC and the COC to automatically display related system information under the request of these consoles. The COC aids the operator with proper emergency operation guidelines so as to shutdown the plant safely, and it also reduces his physical/mental burden by automating the operating procedures. The SRIC continuously displays safety related information to allow the operator to assess the plant status focusing on plant safety. The proposed HMI has been validated and demonstrated with on-line data obtained from the full-scope simulator for Yonggwang Units 1,2.

Responsible tourism attracting worldwide attention has supported local economy and community development as a type of alternative tourism. This study explored the perception toward fairness in tourism and operation status of responsible tour operators in South Korea by conducting in-depth interviews with probe questions. Ten responsible tour operators were interviewed with a semi-structured interview questionnaire for one upto two hours. From the interview data, six themes were identified as difficulties of responsible tour operators: lack of manpower, advertising and promotion, absence of marketing strategy, regulation, lack of budget and lack of recognition of responsible tourism. As government support identified through the interviews, there are the followings seven themes: a low entry barrier market, investment in human resources, resource utilization, community-based policies, connection with local produce, community support and connection system of responsible travel agencies with intermediate support organizations at a local level, The findings of this paper implicate the underlying subject of responsible tourism from a tour operators' perspective.

철도차량용 냉방기는 각 차종별로 기능은 대동소이하나 용량과 부품이 상이하고 제작년도별로 부품 제작사 등이 서로 달라 호환성이 적어 유지보수에 애로가 많고 검수시간과 과다소요 등 비용이 과다 지출되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 고장처치를 위해 냉방기를 차종별로 일목요연하게 정리하고 형식 규격 용량 등을 파악, 그 현황을 도시하여 가동현황과 검수공정 등을 고찰하며 체계적이고 효율적인 유지보수 방안을 도출하고 응급복구에 대응할 수 있는 고장 처치 요령을 제시함으로써 검수 질 향상을 통해 냉방기의 수명을 연장시키고 궁극적으로 여객수입증대를 기함과 동시에 고객서비스를 향상시키고자 한다.

In this paper, autonomous information exchange methodology is studied between IEDs using SOAP protocol based on XML and PtP communication to archive the safety and reliability of large-scale system operation. The SOAP protocol has the advantages in the independency Problem for operating systems, using language, platforms and the security problem because it is XML-based RPC protocol. Inference-based solution of the IED is designed as rule-based solution so that the IED internal status, the system status or the faulted zone can be inferred autonomously using the internal data as well as information data obtained from free information exchange among other IEDS, Also, it is designed so that the inference results and the operation information are transmitted to the above SCADA system, and determined autonomously whether the commands from the SCADA are executed or not. Finally, The inference-based solution of IED and information exchange system among IEDS is implemented using MS Visual C++ MFC, MS SOAP and MS XML. Availability and accuracy of the proposed methodology and the design is verified from diversity simulation reviews for typical distribution substation.

In this paper we proposed the on line volt/var control schemes of the load Tap Changer (LTC) transformer and shunt capacitor bank for distribution volt/var regulation. In the existing volt/var control of the distribution substation, the voltage of feeders and var of distribution systems is mainly controlled by the LTC transformer tap position and on/off status of the shunt capacitor. The LTC and shunt capacitor bank has discrete operation characteristics and therefore it is very difficult to control volt/var at the distribution networks within the satisfactory levels. Also there is limitation of the operation times of the LTC and shunt capacitor bank because it is affects on their functional lifetime. The proposed volt/var control algorithm determine an optimal tap position of LTC and on/off status of shunt capacitors at a distribution network with the multiple feeders. The mathematical equations of the proposed method are introduced. Simple case study was performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Two functions are considerable in the record management of policy management system operation. The first one is to prove that shows the conforming status of the management system requirements. The second one is to prove that shows the performing status whether the policy management system is operating effectively to the company. However, the second function requires the high level data analysis techniques, and it is more important for the decision making of the company operations. That is, the second function is more closer than the first function to the top manager's policy management tool. This paper is prepared to offer a study on the desirable record management which is necessary to the scientific decision making process. The scientific decision making requires the analysis of data derived from the reliable records. It is also aimed to enlighten the relations between the reliability of records and the adoption of the results of analysis in associated with the top manager's decision making.
