OpenFOAM을 이용한 catenary 계류시스템의 준정적 해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of quasi-static analysis program for catenary mooring system using OpenFOAM)

  • Generally, global performance analysis in offshore platforms is performed using potential-based numerical tools, which neglect hydrodynamic viscous effects. In comparison with the potential theory, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods can take into account the viscous effects by solving the Navier-Stokes equation using the finite-volume method. The open-source field operation and manipulation (OpenFOAM) C++ libraries are employed for a finite volume method (FVM) numerical analysis. In this study, in order to apply CFD to the global performance analysis of a hull-mooring coupled system, we developed a numerical wave basin to analyze the global performance problem of a floating body with a catenary mooring system under regular wave conditions. The mooring system was modeled using a catenary equation and solved in a quasi-static condition, which excluded the dynamics of the mooring lines such as the inertia and drag effects. To demonstrate the capability of the numerical basin, the global performance of a barge with four mooring lines was simulated under regular wave conditions. The simulation results were compared to the analysis results from a commercial mooring analysis program, Orcaflex. The comparison included the motion of the barge, catenary shape, and tension in the mooring lines. The study found good agreement between the results from the developed CFD-based numerical calculation and commercial software.

Determination of stay cable force based on effective vibration length accurately estimated from multiple measurements

  • Due to its easy operation and wide applicability, the ambient vibration method is commonly adopted to determine the cable force by first identifying the cable frequencies from the vibration signals. With given vibration length and flexural rigidity, an analytical or empirical formula is then used with these cable frequencies to calculate the cable force. It is, however, usually difficult to decide the two required parameters, especially the vibration length due to uncertain boundary constraints. To tackle this problem, a new concept of combining the modal frequencies and mode shape ratios is fully explored in this study for developing an accurate method merely based on ambient vibration measurements. A simply supported beam model with an axial tension is adopted and the effective vibration length of cable is then independently determined based on the mode shape ratios identified from the synchronized measurements. With the effective vibration length obtained and the identified modal frequencies, the cable force and flexural rigidity can then be solved using simple linear regression techniques. The feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method is extensively verified with demonstrative numerical examples and actual applications to different cable-stayed bridges. Furthermore, several important issues in engineering practice such as the number of sensors and selection of modes are also thoroughly investigated.

  • For the introduction of the electricity of the special design and supervision system to Protect the faulty-workmanship of the electricity equipment and to reserve the electricity safety, last 1995 "Electricity Technology Management Act" were carried out enactment. March 2002, we introduced the pre-Qualification system that is selected the competent company about the electricity design and supervision service over so much capacity which is ordered by the Public institution such as the nation, local autonomous entity, government investment institute and so on. December 2005, the electricity equipment over so much capacity was taken the housing construction plan's approval by the housing act in case, the municipal or district governor with the authority to approve who selected the electricity supervision company according to the pre-Qualification system. Due to the introduction of the system, we could expect the rights and interests increase of the consumer by eradicating dumping of the close relationship between supervision company and the builder, reduction and concurrent position of the supervisor, according to confirm the quality of the electricity equipment and electricity safety. In spite of introducing of the system, the problems occured as reducing the electricity designer's task range compared with different field, modifing the supervisor's rank system rationally, because of researching about the electricity design and supervision technique lacks. Also, KEEA(Korea Electric Engineers Association) manage the caller of the electricity design and supervisor(company or people), but the problems occured as opening to the public about the curler management, introducing automatic bidding system and We need the solution plan about this. Consequently, we consider the present situation of the domestic and outside and problem about the electricity design and supervision system in this paper, try to present rational operation plan through this.

A Novel Hybrid Converter with Wide Range of Soft-Switching and No Circulating Current for On-Board Chargers of Electric Vehicles

  • In this paper, a novel hybrid configuration combining a phase-shift full-bridge (PSFB) and a half-bridge resonant LLC converter is proposed for the On-Board Charger of Electric Vehicles (EVs). In the proposed converter, the PSFB converter shares the lagging-leg switches with half-bridge resonant converter to achieve the wide ZVS range for the switches and to improve the efficiency. The output voltage is modulated by the effective-duty-cycle of the PSFB converter. The proposed converter employs an active reset circuit composed of an active switch and a diode for the transformer which makes it possible to achieve zero circulating current and the soft switching characteristic of the primary switches and rectifier diodes regardless of the load, thereby making the converter highly efficient and eliminating the reverse recovery problem of the diodes. In addition an optimal power sharing strategy is proposed to meet the specification of the charger and to optimize the efficiency of the converter. The operation principle the proposed converter and design considerations for high efficiency are presented. A 6.6 kW prototype converter is fabricated and tested to evaluate its performance at different conditions. The peak efficiency achieved with the proposed converter is 97.7%.

에어챔버 설치에 따른 펌프관로계의 수격현상 (Water-hammer in the Pump Pipeline System with and without an Air-Chamber)

  • When the pumps stopped in the operation by the power failure, the hydraulic transients take place in the sudden change of a velocity of pipe line. Each and every water hammer problem shows the critical stage to be greatly affected the facts of safety and reliability in case of power failure. The field tests of the water hammer executed at Cheong-Yang booster pump station having an air chamber. The effects were studied by both the practical experiments and the CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics : Surge 2008). The result states that the system with water hammering protection equipment was much safer when power failure happens. The following data by a computational fluid dynamic analysis are to be shown below, securing the system stability and integrity. (1) With water hammering protection equipment. (1) Change of pressure : Up to $15.5\;kg/cm^2$ in contrary to estimating $16.88\;kg/cm^2$. (2) Change rate of water level : 52~33% in contrary to estimating 55~27%. (3) Note that the operational pressure of pump runs approx. 145 m, lowering 155 m of the regularity head of pump. (4) Note that the cycle of water hammering delays from 80 second to 100 second, together with easing the function of air value at the pneumatic lines. (2) Change of pressure without water hammering protection equipment : Approximate $22.86\;kg/cm^2$. The comprehensive result says that the computational fluid dynamics analysis would match well with the practical field-test. It was able to predict Max. or Min. water hammering time in a piping system. This study aims effectively to alleviate water hammering in a pipe line to be installed with air chamber at the pumping station and results in making the stability of pump system in the end.

오류주입공격에 대한 개선된 이중모드 레이저 프로빙 시스템 (An Improved Dual-mode Laser Probing System for Fault Injecton Attack)

  • 오류주입공격(Fault Injection Attack)은 하드웨어적 또는 소프트웨어적으로 구현된 암호칩에 인위적으로 오류를 주입 또는 발생시켜 암호 알고리즘 동작/수행을 방해함으로써 칩에 내장된 정보를 찾아내는 공격으로, 이 중 레이저를 이용한 오류주입공격은 특히 성공적인 것으로 입증된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 플래쉬 펌프 방식의 레이저와 광섬유 레이저 모델을 병렬 결합한 이중모드 레이저 방식으로 개선된 레이저 프루빙 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 에너지 출력은 높으나 주파수 반복률이 낮아 오류주입공격 실험에 적합하지 않은 기존의 플래쉬 펌프 방식 레이저를 레이저 절단용으로 활용하고, 추가로 별도의 오류주입을 위한 고주파 반복률을 갖는 레이저를 단순 병렬 결합시키는 방법이다. 오류주입을 위해 결합된 제 2의 신규 레이저는 반도체 레이저와 광섬유 레이저를 선택하여 두 가지 시스템을 설계하였으며, 이에 따른 장 단점을 비교분석하였다.

  • 오늘 날 세계는 과학기술과 정보통신의 비약적인 발전으로 정보화 기반 아래 실시간 정보 공유와 의사소통이 가능한 거대한 하나의 공동체로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 정보화의 이면에는 해킹, 바이러스 등에 의한 정보자산의 침해, 사이버 테러, 개인정보 및 중요정보 자산의 무단 유출과 같은 역기능은 지속적으로 증가하여 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 침해사고 및 개인정보 유출 시 마다 정부 주도의 개인정보 보호를 위한 관련 법규 강화와 종합대책 수립 등 많은 규제정책이 발표되었고, 기업들 역시 정보보안의 중요성에 관한 인식이 점차 증가하면서 다양한 노력들을 기울이고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 개인정보 유출 및 산업기밀 유출과 같은 정보보안 사고는 계속적으로 발생하고 있으며 그 빈도 또한 줄어들고 있지 않는 것이 현실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 획일적이고 기술 중심의 보안정책이 아닌 사용자 중심의 보안정책 수립을 통하여 다양한 업무환경 및 서비스 지원과 동시에 보안위협 대응 시 보다 신뢰성 있고 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 사용자 맞춤형 보안정책 방법론을 제시하였다.

  • ATM PON은 수동 광 분배망에서 ATM셀을 전송하는 가입자망으로서 다양한 형태의 가입자를 하나의 통합된 플랫폼에서 처리할 수 있기 때문에 차세대 엑세스망의 해법으로 간주된다. 본 논문에서는 ATM PON이 가지고 있는 장점과 그것이 동작하기 위한 핵심적인 프로토콜을 살펴본다. 그 중에서도 ranging은 시스템에서 시분할 다중화 액세스를 가능하게 하는 가장 중요한 프로토콜이다. 이 프로토콜의 문제점은 ranging 셀이 도착하는 시간구간, 즉 윈도우가 너무 길다는 것이다. 이 기간 동안 상향으로 가입자 트래픽을 전달할 수 없으므로, 서비스 품질이 저하될 가능성이 매우 높다. 이 논문에서는 광케이블의 길이를 어느 정도의 오차를 갖고 알고 있을 때 윈도우 길이를 최소화하는 방안을 제시한다. 제시된 알고리즘을 사용할 경우, 광케이블의 길이가 1 Km 변이를 가질 때 기존 방법에 비해 윈도우 길이가 7 %에 지나지 않는 성능 향상을 얻을 수 있다.

선체냉각을 위한 해수분사노즐의 산포특성에 관한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Dispersion Characteristics of Seawater Injection Nozzle for Hull Cooling)

  • Infrared stealth is an important technology for naval ships. This technology helps improve the anti-detection performance and survivability of naval ships. In general, the infrared signature of naval ships are categorized into internal and external heat source. External signature are generated by ship surface heating by solar flux as well as the complicated heat transfer process with the surrounding weather condition. Modern naval ships are equipped with seawater injection nozzles on the outside for nuclear, biological and, chemical, and these nozzles are used to control external signature. Wide nozzle placement intervals and insufficient injection pressure, however, have reduced seawater dispersion area. To address this problem, nozzle installation standards must be established. In this study, an actual-scale experimental system was implemented to provide the evidence for nozzle installation standards in order to reduce the infrared signature of naval ships. In addition, the environmental conditions of the experiment were set up through computational fluid dynamics considering the ocean climate data and naval ship management conditions of South Korea. The dispersion distance was measured using a high-resolution thermography system. The flow rate, pipe pressure, and dispersion distance were analyzed, and the evidence for the installation of seawater injection nozzles and operation performance standards was suggested.

웹 서버 구성을 통한 가상머신과 컨테이너 방식 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Virtual Machine and Containers Methods through the Web Server Configuration)

  • Xen, KVM 등과 같은 하이퍼바이저를 이용한 가상 머신 생성 기술이 클라우드 인프라 구성에 주로 사용되고 있다. 이 기술은 기존의 운영 방식에 비해 자원을 할당하고 관리하는 측면에서는 효율적이다. 그러나, 이 기술은 가상머신 생성시에 높은 자원의 사용량이 요구되고 할당된 자원을 사용하지 않는 경우에는 또 다른 자원의 낭비를 초래한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법이 컨테이너 기반의 Docker이다. 본 논문은 가상 머신 방식과 컨테이너 방식을 비교하여 웹 서버 구축 기술로 Docker와 같은 컨테이너 방식이 효율적임을 보여준다. 특히, 웹 서버나 프로그램 개발 환경과 같이 데이터를 데이터베이스나 스토리지 등에 저장하는 경우에는 유용한 것으로 분석되었다. 앞으로의 클라우드 환경에서 Docker와 같은 컨테이너 방식이 자원의 효율성과 관리의 편의성을 더욱 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
