사무소 건물에서 냉동기의 부분부하율 및 냉방 에너지 성능 특성 분석 (A Detailed Analysis of the Part Load Ratio and Cooling Energy Characteristics of Chiller Operation in an Office Building)

  • Commercial buildings account for significant portions of the total building energy in Korea, and thus, a variety of research on chiller operation has been carried out. However, most of the studies were carried out on the chiller itself, i.e., the part load ratio characteristics and the corresponding electricity energy consumption patterns were not analyzed in existing studies. In this study, the part load ratio and the operating characteristics of the vapor compression chiller were analyzed within an office building equipped with the conventional variable air volume system. As a result, significant portions of total operating hours, cooling load, and energy consumption turned out to be in the part load ratio range of 0 through 50%. Thus, energy consumption was significantly affected by the chiller COP at low part load conditions, indicating that chiller operation at the part load is an important factor in commercial buildings.

안내관 제트유동 억제시의 하나로 원형 조사공의 냉각특성 (The Cooling Characteristics for Circular Irradiation Hole under Suppressing Jet Flow at Guide Tube in HANARO)

  • The HANARO, multi-purpose research reactor, 30 MWth open-tank-in- pool type, is under normal operation since it reached the initial critical in February 1995. The HANARO is planning to produce a fission moly-99 of radio isotopes, a mother nuclide of Tc-99m, a medical isotope and is under developing a target handling tool for loading and unloading it in a circular flow tube (OR-5). A guide tube is extended from the reactor core to the top of the reactor chimney for easily un/loading a target under the reactor normal operation. But active coolant through the core can be quickly raised up to the top of the chimney through the guide tube by jet flow. This paper is described an analytical analysis to calculate the hole size of a orifice inserted in the circular irradiation hole and to study the flow characteristics through the guide tube under reactor normal operation and loading the target. As results, the results show that the hole size of orifice was 31 mm of the inner diameter to suppress the guide tube jet flow and the coolant safely cooled the target of fission moly after inserting the orifice to the flow tube.

Scaled SONOSFET를 이용한 NAND형 Flash EEPROM (The NAND Type Flash EEPROM Using the Scaled SONOSFET)

  • 8$\times$8 bit scaled SONOSFET NAND type flash EEPROM that shows better characteristics on cell density and endurance than NOR type have been designed and its electrical characteristics are verified with computer aided simulation. For the simulation, the spice model parameter was extracted from the sealed down SONOSFET that was fabricated by $1.5mutextrm{m}$ topological design rule. To improve the endurance of the device, the EEPROM design to have modified Fowler-Nordheim tunneling through the whole channel area in Write/Erase operation. As a result, it operates Write/Erase operation at low current, and has been proven Its good endurance. The NAND type flash EEPROM, which has upper limit of V$_{th}$, has the upper limit of V$_{th}$ as 4.5V. It is better than that of floating gate as 4V. And a EEPROM using the SONOSFET without scaling (65$\AA$-l65$\AA$-35$\AA$), was also designed and its characteristics have been compared. It has more possibliity of error from the V$_{th}$ upper limit as 4V, and takes more time for Read operation due to low current. As a consequence, it is proven that scaled down SONOSFET is more pertinent than existing floating gate or SONOSFET without scaling for the NAND type flash EEPROM.EPROM.

Analysis on operation characteristics and power burdens of the double quench trigger type SFCLs

  • To protect the power systems from fault current, the rated protective equipment should be installed. However growth of power system scale and concentration of loads caused the large fault current in power transmission system and distribution system. The capacities of installed protective equipment have been exceeded the due to increase of fault current. This increase is not temporary phenomenon but will be steadily as long as the industry develops. The power system operator need a counter-measurement for safety, so superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) has been received attention as effective solutions to reduce the fault current. For the above reasons various type SFCLs have been studied recently. In this paper, operation characteristics and power burden of trigger type SFCL is studied. The trigger type SFCL has been used for real system research in many countries. Another trigger type SFCL (double quench trigger type SFCL) is also studied. For this paper, short circuit test is performed.

실시간요금제하에서 산업용 수용가의 부하제어알고리즘 개발 (Development of Industrial Load Control Algorithm for Factory Energy Management System (F-EMS) under Real Time Pricing Environment)

  • In real-time electricity price environment, the energy management system can provide the significant advantage to the residential, commercial and industrial customers since it can reduce the electricity charge by controlling the load operation effectively in response to time-varying price. However, the earlier studies for load management mainly focus on the residential and commercial customers except for the industrial customers because most of load operations in industrial sector are intimately related with production schedule. So, it is possible that the inappropriate control of loads in industrial sector causes huge economic loss. In this paper, therefore, we propose load control algorithm for factory energy management system(F-EMS) to achieve not only minimizing the electricity charges but also maintaining production efficiency by considering characteristics of load operation and production schedule. Considering characteristics of load operation and production schedule, the proposed load control algorithm can reflect the various characteristics of specific industrial customer and control their loads within the range that the production efficiency is maintained. Simulation results show that the proposed load control algorithm for F-EMS leads to significant reduction in the electricity charges and peak power in industrial sector.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동차량에서 위성과의 송, 수신 양방향 서비스와 위성 방송 수신을 목적으로 하는 능동 위상 배열 마이크로스트립 안테나를 위한 8$\times$2부 배열을 설계, 제작, 측정하였다. 수신 11.7-12.75 GHz, 송신 14-14.5 GHz 대역에 대하여 단일 소자로 송, 수신을 위하여 $\pm$45$^{\circ}$ 직교화 된 두 개의 선형 편파를 사용한다. 수신 대역의 광대역 특성을 위하여 두 패치 사이의 이중 공진을 이용하였고, 공기층의 두께를 조절하여 20 dH 이상의 격리도 특성을 보였다. 앙각 방향에 대하여 전기적으로 30$^{\circ}$ 빔 틸트 하였으며 낮은 부엽 수준을 위하여 테이퍼형 전력분배와 좁은 소자간 간격을 사용하였다.

SMZ 하프브리지 컨버터의 공진특성 분석 (Analysis of resonant characteristics in Half-Bridge Converter using SMZ method)

  • The SMZ half-bridge converter uses the resonance between the inductance of transformer and the resonant capacitances to transfer the input power to the load. In addition to this kind of characteristic of the converter, there are some features such as the capability of soft switching operation, a lower switching loss, and a higher power density in the converter. However in the low-voltage and high-output current applications of the converter, the extremely increased output ripple voltage prevents the converter from normal operation. In order to overcome the drawback of the converter, adding the output filter inductor to the converter, the converter shows the completely different resonant characteristics. In this paper, We analyzed the resonant characteristics of the SMZ converter with the output filter inductor and investigated what the analyzed results affect the converter operation. The experiment of a I50W prototype SMZ converter with 5V output and 310V input is carried out to verity the validity of the analyzed results.

전기적특성과 환경인자를 고려한 태양광모듈의 열화진단 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Aging Diagnosis Algorithm for Photovoltaic Modules by Considering Electric Characteristics and Environment Factors)

  • The installation of PV system to the power distribution system is being increased as one of solutions for environmental pollution and energy crisis. However, the efficiency of PV system is getting decreased because of the aging phenomenon and several operation obstacles. Therefore, The technology development of aging diagnosis of PV modules are required in order to improve operation performance of PV modules. This paper proposes evaluation algorithm for aging state in PV modules by using the electrical characteristics of PV modules and environmental factors. And also, this paper presents a operation evaluation system of PV modules based on the proposed aging diagnosis algorithm of PV modules. From the simulation results of proposed evaluation system, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm is a useful tool for aging diagnosis of PV systems.

  • 건설 공정계획을 수립함에 있어 시뮬레이션의 제한적인 활용은 시뮬레이션 관련 데이터의 수집과 모델 구축의 어려움에 그 원인을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션 관련 데이터 수집과 분석을 통하여 건설 장비 운영 특성 데이터 축적과 데이터 분포 특성 분석 방법론을 제시하였다. 실제 현장에서 측정한 건설 장비 운영 데이터를 확률 통계적 기법을 적용하여 데이터의 분포 특성을 분석하였으며, 이러한 데이터 축적 및 데이터베이스(DB)화는 시뮬레이션 입력 데이터의 지원과 건설 장비 운영 계획에 다시 사용되어 건설 관련 정보의 효율적 활용이 가능하다.

공연종사자 피난을 위한 안전시설의 운영전략 연구 (A Study of the Safety Facilities Operation Strategies for Performing Arts Workers Evacuation)

  • The objectives of this study is to classify evacuation types, derive the characteristics of 4 types, develop and discover evacuation routes within the performance hall space, and present the statistical classification results of the evacuation classification model by classification type. To achieve this purpose, the characteristics of each evacuation type's four types are applied through a network reliability analysis method and utilized for institutional improvement and policy. This study applies for the building law, evacuation and relief safety standards when establishing a performance hall safety management plan, and reflects it in safety-related laws, safety standards, and policy systems. Statistical data by evacuation type were analyzed, and measurement characteristics were compared and analyzed by evacuation types. Evaluate the morphological similarity and reliability of evacuation types according to door width and passage length and propose the install position of evacuation guidance sign boards. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data to provide operation strategies for safety facility evacuation information sign boards according to evacuation route classification types when taking a safety management plan. The operation strategy for the evacuation sign boards installation that integrates employee guidance and safety training is applied to the performance hall safety management plan. It will contribute to establishing an operational strategy for performance space safety when constructing performance facilities in the future.
