해상풍력단지의 효율적인 유지보수를 위한 최적 비용 산출 연구 (Research on optimal cost calculation for efficient maintenance of offshore wind farms)

  • This paper aims to perform optimal operation and maintenance with an integrated monitoring system for offshore wind platforms. Based on the wind direction and wind speed data of existing wind farms, a monitoring system was established along with weather and weather data to maximize the operational efficiency of wind farms. Compared to wind power on land, offshore wind power is difficult to maintain due to weather, logistics and geographical limitations. Therefore, economic analysis of actual operation and maintenance is essential for large-scale offshore wind farms. In this paper, the availability of offshore wind farms was analyzed by using personnel resources, parts inventory, Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) and Specialized service Operation Vessel (SOV) etc. before the actual operation and maintenance of wind farms. A comparative analysis was conducted to determine the optimum operating efficiency and economical maintenance costs.

표준석탄화력 발전소 해수온도 상승에 따른 복수기 압력 손실 최소화 방안 (A Study on Minimizing of Condenser Pressure Loss according to the Temperature Rise of the Seawater for Korean Standard Coal-fired Power Plants)

  • 손실비용을 고려하여 발전소 효율에 큰 영향을 미치는 복수기의 운전 관리 방안을 연구하였다. 2013년 S발전소의 해수온도는 복수기 압력과 뚜렷한 상관관계를 보였으며, 해수온도가 변화함에 따라 복수기 압력은 설계 압력 38.1 mmHg 보다 -1.7~+20 mmHg의 차이로 운전되었다. 제작사에서 제시한 열소비율 보정곡선을 통해 복수기 압력 1 mmHg 증가시 1,2호기 0.0201%, 3,4호기 0.0155%의 효율 손실과 1,2호기 12,830 원/h, 3,4호기 9,832 원/h의 시간당 손실비용이 발생함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 계절별 대응운전, 설비 노후화, 예방정비 시점에 따른 손실비용의 차이를 확인하고 월별 관리범위를 설정하였다. 이를 통해 운전 관리범위 준수, 손실비용을 고려한 정비 계획 수립으로 최소 2.5억원/년(1호기, 40일 정비)의 관리적 손실을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

원전 정비효과성감시 프로그램의 성능기준설정 방법론 개선 (Study of Performance Criteria Methodology for Maintenance Effectiveness Monitoring Program for Nuclear Power Plants)

  • The systems of the nuclear power plant are designed based on the User Requirement Document, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. (KHNP) implements preventive maintenance activities to keep the specific design function of the system consistently. To monitor the preventive maintenance effectiveness, KHNP has also developed maintenance effectiveness monitoring (MR) program based on NUMARC 93-01 since 2003, and has implemented the program in all operating plants. Recently, KHNP has upgraded MR programs by reflecting implementing experiences ; reestablishing the performance monitoring level, improving analysis for standby function and performance criteria for passive components, reestablishing the availability performance criteria and the performance criteria for the same type of components. These upgraded MR programs will contribute to enhance safety and improve equipment reliability through monitoring maintenance effectiveness.

  • This paper deals with a procedure of changing the current inspection & replacement periods for ROKAF aircraft parts. ROKAF is mostly operating aircraft of foreign makes, and takes maintenance actions according to Technical Orders(TO.) published by foreign aircraft manufacturers. Therefore ROKAF inspects and replaces specific parts at the time noticed from T.O.. These inspection and replacement periods are determined by manufacturers according to the standard operating environment and parts' durability. But the standard operating environment Is different from operator's environment. Because of this difference, the inspection and replacement periods have to be changed according to operators' operation environment. It is resonable that the manufacturer, having design materials and life test data of parts, changes those periods together with materials of operators' operation environment. But we have many difficulties in obtaining the design materials and life test data. Then this paper proposes a procedure of changing the periods of aircraft's parts with life data obtained during operating aircraft. For the reliability analysis, a software of RELEST (Reliability Estimation Version 1.0) is used.

  • 국내 가동중 원전은 발전소 안전성 및 신뢰성을 향상시킬 목적으로 정비효과감시 프로그램(정비규정)을 개발하여 2009년부터 이행 중에 있다. 정비효과감시 프로그램은 발전소 전 계통을 기능단위로 분류한 후 관리대상 선정, 안전중요도 결정 및 성능기준 수립을 통해 발전설비의 정비효과를 감시하는 프로그램이며, NUMARC 93-01 방법론을 기반으로 발전소별 고유 설계특성을 반영하여 개발하고 있다. 최근 건설 중인 APR1400형 원전도 운영초기 단계부터 정비체계 정착을 목적으로 안전관련계통 정비효과감시 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 향후 초기 성능평가를 통해 프로그램의 적합성을 검증할 예정이다. 결과적으로 고유 설계특성을 반영하여 개발한 정비효과감시 프로그램의 이행을 통해 APR1400형 원전의 안전성 및 신뢰성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

  • The high-speed railway track occurs train operating result track irregularity, subsidence of the track, ballast abrasion. This is the unusual condition. High-speed railway track maintenance task is the behavior which repairs unusual section by using the human resource or machine resource. The resource used to maintenance task is restrictive. A resource can be efficiently used if the high-speed railway track maintenance scheduling is used. So the more task can be performed in the fit time. In conclusion, this manages the unusual condition of a track efficiently. So additional expenses is minimized cause by deteriorating unusual condition. And it offers comfortable ride to passenger. However, maintenance scheduling has to reflect well practical situation and environment. That's maintenance scheduling is used. We gather the opinions of the hands-on workers. So in this paper define field situation and condition. And suggest mathematical model about this. And we developed the track maintenance scheduling software engine using ILOG.

원자력발전소 운전경험 활용 증진을 위한 KHNP-JIT 개발 (KHNP-JIT Development for the Effective Use of Nuclear Power Plant Operating Experiences)

  • According to the increase in numbers and operation time of domestic Nuclear Power Plants, KHNP(Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) has many operating experiences. These show that most of the accidents repeatedly occurred not by the new sources or mechanism like the Fukushima Accident, but by the human and equipment errors from normal habits, process, design, maintenance etc.. These lessons show that the well-established systematic approach is requested to take lessons from past experiences. For this reason, developed countries established INPO, WANO, COG as a non-profit professional organizations to actively share their operating experiences. KHNP is also trying to promote the utilization of operating experiences. As part of this effort, KHNP is developing the KHNP-JIT, reflecting the overseas JIT and the domestic experiences.

  • The building HVAC systems have very different qualities of performance and durability with the superintendent's ability for management and maintenance. The poor management of these systems finally lead to the shortening of the life expectancy and result in the increase of operating costs and energy consumptions due to low efficiencies. So it is essential to try to develop ways to adequately maintain and to use the building facilities efficiently in order to preserve earth environment and the limited resource. In this study, the LCC based numerical calculation package will be developed for the efficient maintenance plan and the determination of the reasonable time of repair or replacement of equipments.

  • Since urban railway transit is one of the most essential transportation systems, its power facilities must ensure high reliability and safety. Currently, urban railway operating organizations perform TBM (Time Based Maintenance) on power facilities. However, in order to improve management efficiency and system safety, CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) is preferred. Among various power facilities, mold transformers has been chosen as the object of study since it is widely used for the purpose of minimizing volume and weight, and due to safety against fire. In this paper, various transformer failure cases due to electric, thermal, mechanical and environmental factors have been collected and analyzed. In addition, investigation on national and international condition based maintenance cases and the characteristics of sensors widely used for transformer monitoring has been performed to suggest the optimal condition based maintenance technique for urban railway systems.

SNA-based Trend Analysis of Naval Ship Maintenance

  • Naval ship maintenance generally produces various issues for effective maintenance methods and procedures, because they have been composed by numerous modules and systems, and manual-oriented maintenance needed well-trained technicians who always busy to do many other works. In this paper, we adapt SNA scheme to the service procedure and trends of ROK naval ships' equipments. Various SNA algorithms are deployed which show lots of operating options, and we show analysis results that have enough potential improvement points for the maintainers.
