K-Pop is hugely promoted offline/online in East Asia, while efforts to promote it elsewhere are kept to a minimum. Whilst addressing the role of digital marketing in the promotion of K-Pop in the Brazilian music industry this study aims to demonstrate that K-pop will provide its audience with a unique and engaging experience if it thinks globally and acts locally in its marketing and communication strategies. A survey of K-Pop's world fan base was carried out online with 1,074 fans to determine the validity of the hypothesis. The results have demonstrated the need to adapt global and intercultural strategies to local markets with increasing brand awareness through utilizing digital marketing. For example, to increase K-Pop's popularity and market share in Brazil, it is not required to sing in Brazilian Portuguese, contrary to what might be perceived but fully singing in English would help breaking into the market dominated by domestic music as songs would have a higher probability to be included in the international soundtrack of a Brazilian telenovela and promote the K-Pop artist not only across Brazil but also give the artist exposure in all the markets the Brazilian telenovela is exported to, opening an entry door to those markets. K-Pop audience segmentation and psychographic profiling is crucial to the understanding of each market's consumer's preferences, likes, dislikes and their buying habits as it was proven through Brazil's digital media, social media, digital music market and K-Pop market analysis within the global context of the study. It should be also considered that brand extensions are not standard everywhere and that there are cultures where different product categories are not directly associated with its main corporate owner which requires extensive local market knowledge to succeed. The primary and secondary data research that we conducted for this study intended to demonstrate that K-Pop can be successful in Brazil and in Latin America and increase their local and regional market share if digital marketing and communication strategies are tailored to each individual market.

The purposes of this paper are to build theoretical and empirically testable model to identify determining factors of ownership structure, and to analyze this model empirically using th Korea Stock Exchange panel data, and to test the impact of opening the stock market on the determinants of ownership structure. The determining factors of ownership structure identified in this paper include debt ratio, dividend, asset characteristics, profitability, growth business risk, size, institutional investors and chaebol-non chaebol dummy variable. Empirical panel estimation test reveals that this model can explain about $9\sim11%$ of the cross sectional variance in the equity ratio of large shareholders. The reasons that this model has too explanatory power are that some variables were measured with errors, and that there were some omitted variables in tested model. The regression results on the model variables ar generally in line with predictions. But the coefficient estimates on size is never significant. And it appears that the exogenous variable which explains opening the stock market has positive effect on the determinants of ownership structure.

The domestic stock market has been subjected to a major change since the September 1997 financial crisis. Foreign capital came repeat themselves in the stock market and bond market, foreign exchange market opening up domestic financial markets after the financial crisis. The domestic stock market has been most affected by domestic capital before the financial crisis. But it has been receiving an absolute influenced by foreign capital after the financial crisis. The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in the two sections that look at any changes in the volatility of the KOSPI appears after the crisis. To this, obtained a daily weekly monthly normal distribution and kurtosis, skewness degree it should be analyze the tilt phenomenon and variability of the two intervals. This study also predict the future movement of the domestic stock market Based on this, look at the difference between the two sections. Analysis result, after the financial crisis change width has a reduction but direction of the KOSPI has appeared relatively distinct in the medium to long term. Based on this future market seems desirable the mid- to long-term investment looking for direction.

The after China's reform and opening up, the country has been facing the era of material abundance based on its economic power. The Chinese food industry has been growing along with economic growth, high quality, and diversified customer needs. Also, as Chinese people have strong attachment to food, many food franchise companies have been also growing rapidly. As the Chinese government encourages and supports the field of food franchises, so that the quality and quantity of the Chinese restaurant industry have been improved largely. Meanwhile with the support of the Korean government to enter the overseas market, the number of Korean franchise companies are increasing to operate their business in China. Under the influence of Chinese food industrial climate, Korean companies are also in search of global market advancement to China. However, the risks in China are unexpectable, which means that the recent move of China is literally showing rugby action, criticism of operating businesses in China has been climbed up and the domestic SMEs are seriously considering whether to stay or leave. This study investigates the environmental risks of Chinese enterprises, in which the food franchise companies could experience, to manage any risks from entering the Chinese market with uncertainty. Through SWOT analysis and cases, strategies to avoid the risks are suggested for Korean companies to enter the Chinese markets. Therefore, this study researches in the current status of Chinese and Korean restaurants, explores any risks in China in terms of exports to China and market advance, develops strategies to avoid those risks, and provides essential suggestions for entering into Chinese market.

This study aims to find out predictors of a movie's eventual box office, focusing on a movie's box office rank on an opening day. For an empirical analysis, I use data of 794 commercial movies released in the Korean theatrical exhibition market during the recent five years(2013~2017). The regression analysis shows that being box office number one on an opening day has statistically significant impact on a movie's final box office. A movie's quality, measured by audience's review, does not give significant impact on top1 movie's final success. Indexes such as increase of showing number on Sunday are strongly related to a movie's economic success. The additional analysis on box office number one movie on an opening day, totally 158 movies, finds that box office growth rate on a second week is strongly related to a movie's final success. Lastly, correlation coefficient of a movie's opening day box office and final box office does not show consistent growth when the coefficient is compared yearly. This study might have meaning in that it proposes new box office predictors and shows the relation of the indexes and a movie's final performance empirically.

This study analyzes behavior characteristics of illegal urban stall keepers scattered in the metropolitan area and their effects to urban life. The main findings of this study are follows. First, the stall keepers are different in terms of 1) items 2) opening hour and 3) user characteristics depending on locational environment of market boundaries. Second, the stall keepers exit in any time and any place if demand exists. Third, the effects of stall keepers to urban life are twofold ; they facilitate urban life by providing cheap and various commodities/services and they bring about negative effects such as obstacle to traffic flows, waste generation, and so on.

Because of the imminent market opening of livestock and poultry products, Korean poultry industry is faced an influx of contagious diseases from abroad. Due to the increasing trend of intensive and automatic poultry farming, the risks of catching various poultry epidemics are ever more increasing. For the prevention of poultry epidemics, the principles of biosecurity should be observed rather strictly. In addition, regular checking to confirm the presence or absence of latent diseases through serological test, post-mortem examination, and laboratory test, should be carried out routinely. Finally, all kinds of stress factors should be minimized to keep the flock healthy and productive, so that they can achieve their maximum genetic potential.

Due to the pressure of opening electric power market, the transmission system reliability evaluation is being more important. This paper presents a reliability evaluation method for a specific area using the elastic power system frequency decline characteristic. The practicality and effectiveness of this methodology is illustrated by a case study.

Sustainable agriculture is a management system for ecological equilibrium and long-run productivity. Conversions from conventional to sustainable farming systems could have good effects on future generations' productivity and agricultural market opening in Korea. However, farmers are not willing to adopt sustainable farming system as because of farm income reductions, so government programs may be needed. Government programs should have research support for cost reductions, direct support for advocational livestock breedings and income security, and relative price changes for reducing agricultural chemicals.

Environments of electric power industries are fastly changing due to the WTO, opening of the capital market and free trade. Accordingly, it is very important to invest in technical developments for securing international competitive power. But our construction techniques in T/L are insufficient in comparing with the advanced countries. This paper suggests the status and prospect of construction techniques of domestic and foreign countries in T/L, including developing prospects of T/L constriction.
