PV모듈에서 그림자에 의한 전기적 특성 (The Electrical Characteristics of Shading Effect in Photovoltaic Module)

  • In this paper, we study the electric characteristics of shading effects in photovoltaic module in case of outdoor operation. When fabricating PV module, solar cells are connected serially to obtain the high voltage because of its low open circuit voltage. And total current is determined by lowest current among solar cells. When the shading happens on PV module's surface, the current of shaded solar cell determine the total current flow. Because of this, generally by-pass diode is installed on junction box. The bypass diode operate when revered and shaded solar cell's voltage is over 0.6 voltage. The reverse-biased solar cell gives reduced maximum power of PV module and might give negative effect on durability. So, adequate by-pass installation and selection is needed.

  • Organic photovoltaic properties were studied in ZnPc/$C_{60}$ heterojunction structure by varying the organic layer thicknesses and exiton blocking layer(EBL). Current density-voltage characteristics of organic photovoltaic cells were measured using Keithley 236 source-measure unit, a 500W xenon lamp (ORIEL 66021) for a light source and Agilent 4294A impedance analyzer in the range of 40 Hz $\sim$ 1 MHz. From the analyses of current-voltage characteristics such as short-circuit current density, open-circuit voltage and power conversion efficiency, optimum thickness of the organic layer were obtained and frequency response such as electrical conductance.

  • This paper proposes a new non-isolated DC conversion circuit topology of the voltage source coupled inductor series resonant high-frequency PFM controlled boost chopper type DC-DC power converter using two in one IGBT power module, which can efficiently operate under a principle of zero current soft switching for wide output regulation voltage setting ranges and wide fluctuation of the input DC side voltage as well as the load variation ranges. Its steady state operating principle and the output voltage regulation characteristics in the open-loop-based output voltage control scheme without PI controller loop are described and evaluated from theoretical and experimented viewpoints. Finally, in this paper the computer-aided simulation steady-state analysis and the experimental results are presented in order to prove the effectiveness and the validity of voltage regulation characteristics of the proposed series resonant zero current soft switching boost chopper type DC-DC power converter circuit using IGBTs which is based on simple pulse frequency modulation strategy more than, 20kHz.

열전소자 온도조절법을 이용한 결정형 실리콘 태양전지의 성능 측정 (Performance of Crystalline Si Solar Cells with Temperature Controlled by a Thermoelectric Module)

  • A proper estimate of solar cell efficiency is of great importance for the feasibility analysis of solar cell power plant development. Since solar cell efficiency depends on temperature, several methods have been introduced to measure it by operating temperature modulation. However, the methods either rely on the external environment or need expensive equipment. In this paper, a thermoelectric module was used to control the operating temperature of crystalline silicon solar cells effectively and precisely over a wide range. The output characteristics of crystalline silicon solar cells in response to operating temperatures from $-5^{\circ}C$ to $100^{\circ}C$ were investigated experimentally. Their efficiencies decreased as the temperature rose, since the decrease in the open circuit voltage and fill factor exceeded the increase in the short circuit current. The maximum power temperature coefficient of the single crystalline solar cell was more sensitive to temperature change than that of the polycrystalline solar cell.

TTIP가 첨가된 저온소성용 TiO2 Paste를 이용한 DSSC의 효율 특성 (Efficiency Characteristics of DSSC Using TiO2 Paste for Low Temperature Annealing with TTIP)

  • Recently, the application field of solar panels is increasing. Accordingly, the demand for flexible devices is also steadily increasing. It is therefore necessary to develop $TiO_2$ paste for low-temperature annealing for flexible DSSC fabrication. In this study, the $TiO_2$ paste for low-temperature annealing with varying molar ratio of titanium isopropoxide (TTIP) was prepared, and DSSC was fabricated and its characteristics were compared. As a result, there was no deformation of the particles on the surface in the SEM data. However, the highest open circuit voltage, short circuit current, and fill factor were measured in the DSSC unit cell prepared by adding 0.5 mol of TTIP to the $TiO_2$ paste, and the highest efficiency was 4.148%.

V2O5가 첨가된 반도체 산화물의 특성개선연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Semiconductor Oxides with V2O5)

  • 염료감응형 태양전지에서 반도체 산화물은 전자의 생성과 이동에 중요한 역할을 하므로 이에 관한 광범위한 연구가 지속적으로 수행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 $V_2O_5$를 첨가시킨 반도체 산화물을 제작하여 염료 감응 태양 전지의 특성을 연구하였다. $V_2O_5$가 첨가된 $TiO_2$ 페이스트는 졸 겔 공정의 스크린 인쇄 법으로 제조하였고, 이에 따른 표면특성 및 전기적 특성을 측정하였다. $V_2O_5$가 첨가됨에 따라 결정립 크기가 증가하였고 염료감응태양전지의 개방 회로 전압, 단락 전류, 충전 계수 및 변환 효율 특성이 개선됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 기판온도 $300^{\circ}C$에서 열증착법에 의해 p형 <100> Si 기판위에 CuPc(Copper Phthalocyanine) 결정 박막을 증착하였다. X선 회절분석으로부터 CuPc 박막은 a-축 방향으로 성장하였음을 알 수 있었다. CuPc분자들이 기판면위에 수직인 CuPc/Si박막의 광전특성을 조사하기 위하여 수직방향의 전류-전압 (I-V) 특성을 기판 Si의 특성과 비교 관찰하였다. 저항성 접촉을 위해 기판인 p형 Si위에 전극으로 Au를 증착시켰다. Au/Si 접합에 빛을 조사한 결과 전류는 증가하지만 광기전력효과는 관찰되지 않았다. p형 반도체인 CuPc 박막과 기판 p-Si의 접합은 장벽을 형성하지 않기 때문에 빛을 조사하지 않았을 때의 I-V 특성은 저항성을 나타낸다. 빛을 조사하였을 때 CuPc/Si 접합의 증가된 광전류는 Si 웨이퍼보다 현저하게 큰 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 CuPc 층이 600 nm 파장에서의 붉은 빛을 현저하게 흡수하여 광전류에 기여하는 다량의 광캐리어를 형성함을 알 수 있다. CuPc/Si 박막은 $J_{sc}$ (short-circuit photocurrent) $4.29\;mA/cm^{2}$$V_{oc}$ (open circuit photovoltage) 12 mV의 광기전력 특성을 보여준다.

GaAs를 이용한 MIS형 다이오드의 제작 및 전기적 특성 (Fabrication of MIS Type GaAs Diode and Its Electrical Characteristics)

  • The fabricatoin sequence of GaAs MIS type diode and its electrical characteristics are presented. Used wafers were undoped GaAS wafer adn Te-doped GaAs wafer. Au and AuGe/Ni was used as schottky contact metal and ohmic contact metal respectively. Oxide layer on GaAs surface was formed by water vapor saturated oxide growth technique and dry oxidation technique. In Te-doped GaAs wafer, cutin voltage of MIS type diode was enhanced about 3V comparing with non-oxide layer diode. From light I-V characteristics fill factor of MIS type Te-doped GaAs diode was about 64%, Voc(open circuit voltage) was 0.67V.

히어 캠 임베디드 플랫폼 설계 (HearCAM Embedded Platform Design)

  • In this paper, we implemented the HearCAM platform with Raspberry PI B+ model which is an open source platform. Raspberry PI B+ model consists of dual step-down (buck) power supply with polarity protection circuit and hot-swap protection, Broadcom SoC BCM2835 running at 700MHz, 512MB RAM solered on top of the Broadcom chip, and PI camera serial connector. In this paper, we used the Google speech recognition engine for recognizing the voice characteristics, and implemented the pattern matching with OpenCV software, and extended the functionality of speech ability with SVOX TTS(Text-to-speech) as the matching result talking to the microphone of users. And therefore we implemented the functions of the HearCAM for identifying the voice and pattern characteristics of target image scanning with PI camera with gathering the temperature sensor data under IoT environment. we implemented the speech recognition, pattern matching, and temperature sensor data logging with Wi-Fi wireless communication. And then we directly designed and made the shape of HearCAM with 3D printing technology.

디젤엔진을 이용한 폐회로 시스템의 성능해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Analysis of The Closed Cycle System Using the Diesel Engine)

  • The closed cycle diesel system is operated in closed circuit system where there is non air breathing with working fluid consisted of the combination of oxygen, argon and recycled exhaust gas for obtaining underwater or underground power sources. this study has been carried out to analysis the performance of closed cycle system by means of investigation on the combustion characteristics of diesel engine MTU8V183TE52 operating in open, semi-closed, and closed cycle modes. The combustion in closed mode starts a little bit earlier than in open cycle mode. The oxygen concentration and fuel consumption at 240kW closed cycle running are 21∼24% by volume and 77∼79kg/h, respectively. The maximum cylinder pressure and ignition delay time are investigated 110bar and 8.9degree. Also, The combustion simulation program has been studied to predict whether or not combustion. The results from numerical prediction for the basic, cylinder averaged quantities such as the cylinder pressure and the heat release showed excellent with the experimental data.
