In this paper, we focused on the loop distribution system to solve the international issues of energy depletion and global warming. The conventional method of reconfiguration of distribution system was moving open points of switches from an actual switch position to another, while an appropriate switch must be opened to preserve the radial structure and this procedure is continued til there is no further loss reduction. However, the loop distribution system is the best optimization method to minimize loss than the other methods which is preserving radial structure. So we analyzed 3 types of loop distribution system upgraded from radial distribution system by changing normally open switch to normally closed switch. The simple 3 types of model system for simulation were composed, and each types of loop system were simulated in accordance with varying parameters. As a result of simulations, the loss reduction was different for each types of loop distribution system and each loop types have constraints for composing loop distribution system. The algorithms propose the method how to construct loop distribution system regarding constraints. Type I that needs least requirements get least loss reduction and Type III that needs most requirements get maximum loss reduction. On the other hand, Type I was most feasible distribution system to be realized.
In the present study, the dynamic modelling of planar mechanisms that consist of a system of rigid bodies is carried out using point coordiantes. The system of rigid bodies is replaced by a dynamically equivalent constrained system of particles. Then for the resulting equivalent system of particles, the concepts of linear and angular momentums are used to generate the equations of motion without either introducing any rotational coordinates or distributing the external forces and force couples over the particles. For the open loop case, the equations of motion are generated recursively along the open chains. For the closed loop case, the system is transformed to open loops by cutting suitable kinematic joints with the addition of cut-joints kinematic constraints. An example of a multi-branch closed-loop system is chosen to demonstrate the generality and simplicity of the proposed method.
A new fault-tolerant control topology for open-loop motor-drive systems with Delta-connected stator windings is introduced in this paper. This new control topology enables the operation of a three-phase induction machine as a two-phase machine fed by a three-phase inverter upon a failure in one of the motor phases. This topology utilizes the "open-Delta" configuration to independently control the current in each of the two remaining healthy phases. This new control technique leads to the alleviation of any torque pulsations resulting from the consequences of the asymmetrical conditions associated with this class of faults.

This research studied 6-Axes Articulated Robot Manipulator's gain Tuning in consideration of dynamic. First of all, search fur proportional gain of velocity control loop by dynamic signal analyzer. Proportional gain of velocity control loop is connected to dynamic signal analyzer. Next Select free Proportional Gain value. And Select amplitude X of sinusoidal properly so that enough Velocity Feedback Signal may be paid as there is no group to utensil department. Next step, We can get Bode Diagram of Closed loop transfer function response examination in interested frequency. Integral calculus for gain of velocity loop is depended on integral calculus correction's number. We can obtain open loop transfer function by integrator. And we can know bode diagram's special quality from calculated open loop transfer function. With this, Velocity Control Loop's Parameter as inner loop is controlled. Next In moving, when vibration occurs, it controls notch filter. And finally, we have to control fred-forward filter parameter for elevation of control performance.

In this paper, a novel voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) using the microstrip square open loop multiple split ring resonator (OLMSRR) is presented for reducing the phase noise property. The square-shaped multiple split ring resonator (MSRR) having the form of the microstrip square open loop is investigated to realize this property. Compared with the microstrip square open loop resonator and the microstrip square open loop split ring resonator (OLSRR) as well as the conventional microstrip line resonator, the microstrip square OLMSRR has the larger coupling coefficient value, which makes a higher Q value, and has reduced the phase noise of VCO. The VCO with 1.7V power suppIy has the phase noise of $-124.5\;{\sim}\;-122.0\;dBc/Hz$ @ 100 kHz in the tuning range, $5.746\;{\sim}\;5.84\;GHz$. The figure of merit (FOM) of this VCO is $-203.96\;{\sim}\;-201.6\;dBc/Hz$ @ 100 kHz in the same tuning range. Compared with VCO using the conventional microstrip line resonator, VCO using the microstrip square open loop resonator and VCO using microstrip square OLSRR, the phase noise property of VCO using the proposed resonator has been improved in 25.66 dB, 8.34 dB, and 4.5 dB, respectively.

In this paper, we describe how to set up/down step-size in open loop power control for WiBro reverse link. Since open loop power control does not use feedback information, it is difficult to efficiently use wireless resource with accurate power control. We also provides a method of estimating levels of noise and interference. With numerical investigation, asymmetric up/down power-control step-size is shown to be promising to achieve high sector throughput as well as low error rate.

This paper reports active control of clamped beams using acceleration feedback controllers (AF). The equations of motion of clamped beam under force and moment pairs were derived and the equations of AF controllers were formulated. The effect of the parameters - gain and damping ratio - of the AF controllers on the open loop transfer function was investigated mainly in terms of the system stability. Increasing the gain of the AF controller tuned at a mode, the magnitude of the open loop transfer function is increased at all frequencies. The increase of the damping ratio of the AF controller leads to decrease the magnitude of the open loop transfer function and modifies its phase characteristics to be more stable. Three AF controllers connected in parallel were then proposed. Each AF controller is tuned at the $2^{nd}$, $3^{rd}$ and $4^{th}$ modes, respectively. Their parameters were determined to remain the system to be stable based on the results of the parametric study. A significant reduction in vibration at the 3 modes can be obtained.

In this study, a fmite element model was developed for analysis of feeding a structure in open loop control The finite element analysis (FEA) can simulate dynamic behavior of the structure of a machine tool rapidly traveling with a screw feeding driving system. The feeding mechanism was implemented with screw element of the FEA tool used in this study. The procedure was developed for the dynamic transient FEA. First, motion parameters such as jerk and velocity were introduced for the structure to be fed in open loop control When its traveling distance was determined, set-points for the distance were generated based on the motion parameters. The set-points were applied to the FE model constructed for the traveling structure. The FEA was executed and evaluated. In this study, the FEA procedure was applied to the column of a machine tool and the dynamic behavior of the column was evaluated. The FEA helps in evaluation of the motion characteristics of a structure. The convergence time of the structure vibration posterior to feeding termination can be estimated and the stiffness of the flexible structure is also evaluated against jerk, and acceleration. It provides the feeding force which is helpful in selection of the feeding motor.

Optimization method for the open loop commutation time intervals in HDD spindle start-up control is presented in this paper. A hard disk drive(HDD) uses a sensorless brushless DC motor(BLDC) for the platter rotation. Because there is no direct sensor for the rotor position, open loop commutations after sensing the rotor position at a standstill using inductive sensing method are performed to speed up the rotor up to a certain speed where the zero crossings of the back electromotive force(EMF) are measurable. Therefore successful open loop commutations are necessary for the stable start-up control of the spindle motors. Random neighborhood search(RNS) algorithm is introduced as a optimization technic in this paper. Rotor speed and its standard deviation are used as a cost function and commutation intervals obtained from the spindle motion equation are used as initial parameter values for the RNS. With the help of the proposed method optimized open loop commutation time intervals for the very low start-up current are acquired and tested. The experimental results shows that the proposed method can decrease the start-up failure rate of a HDD spindle motor.

SMISMO valve configuration is now starting to draw attention of the researchers of the construction equipment industry to increase the fuel efficiency of their equipment like excavators and wheel-loaders. An open-loop control strategy for grading operation of hydraulic excavator systems using SMISMO valve configuration is investigated in this paper. Tabor's algorithm for 1 d.o.f. SMISMO system under the assumption of quasi-static operation is revealed as not adequate for multi d.o.f. system with large moment of inertia even though the motion of the system is slow. New parameters are proposed in this paper. It modifies Tabor's open-loop control strategy for the grading operation of hydraulic excavators using SMISMO valve configuration. A simulation-based parameter tuning method is also proposed. It uses GA (Genetic Algorithm) to find the best parameter values. Simulation study for a practical hydraulic excavator shows the validity of the proposed open-loop control strategy.
