Open-pit mines are the critical infrastructure for acquiring natural resources. Since it could be endangered by environmental and safety problems during operations, continuous monitoring is required for this type of mine. However, the domestic level management and accumulation of present state data of the topographical alteration are incurred by the development and restoration of open-pit mines relying on digital topographic maps and site surveys. Because of it, other than an expert cannot be viewed easily examines those changes information of open-pit mines in the domestic level. If the efficient management and public access of the open-pit mine is targeted, it is easy to build a web-based three-dimensional monitoring system, utilized in the space information software of open source. Therefore, we purposed on developing an open-pit mine monitoring system to support the development and restoration of the ecology-friendly environment, which could be easily monitored by the general public for those changes within terrain and environments due to operations of the mine.
The viewpoint of growth pursuit is changed to that of life quality's and happiness' pursuit by modern people. Modern people in digital environment, tired of fast-changing and oppressive daily life, prefer well-being trend providing tranquility and relaxation. Well-being is related to digital, because negative influences of digital lead human-oriented, environment-friendly well-being design. Therefore the purpose of this study is to research and analyze the relation of well-being fashion design and digital environment through case study in contemporary well-being fashion design. The results of this study are as follows: 1. This study shows that the attributes of digital environment make up function-intensive, interactivity, mobility & nomad, human & emotion-oriented and environment-friendly. And this study shows the design characteristics of digital environment consist of function-intensive design by digital convergence, open structure design for interactivity, modular design for mobility & nomad, emotion-oriented & multi-sensory design and environment- friendly design. 2. Function-intensive design in modem well-being fashion composed of vogue of caports style(casual+sports), practical use of multi-functional new-healthy textiles, and popularity of many style's mixture at once. Open structure design consist of wrapover design, use of transparent materials. Modular design are layered styling, practical use of zipper and velcro. Emotion-oriented & multi-sensory design are constitute of fad of wrinkle materials, application of bright & vivid tone, personal color and family look. Environment-friendly design in contemporary well-being fashion are comprised in use of natural color, re-advent of natural floral motif and eco-design.

This paper studies the technology management strategy for activating the industry-academia cooperation in open innovation environment. For this, the importance and concept of technology management balancing the internal innovation and utilization of external innovation resources, and industry-academia cooperation were theoretically reviewed. For the successful technology management in open innovation environment firms should adopt the industry-academia cooperation strategy. The technology management strategy for activating the industry-academia cooperation of the firm can be summarized as follows; Firstly, technology strategy for academia-industry cooperation utilizing the strategic technology roadmap should be prepared and executed. Secondly, the firm should adopt the open innovation system and transform their NIH(Not-Invented-Here) culture for open culture. Finally, for activating the networking with various innovation actors, industry-academia cooperation supporting system should be prepared.

This study was conducted to evaluate performance of geothermal heat exchanger (GHE) in the combined well and open-closed loops geothermal (CWG) systems. The CWG systems were designed to combine open loop geothermal heat pumps and closed loop geothermal heat pumps for high energy efficiency. GHE of the CWG systems could be installed at pumping wells for agricultural usage. To get optimal heat exchange capacity of GHE of the CWG systems, 4 GHEs with various materials and apertures were tested at laboratory scale. Polyethylene (PE) and stainless steel (STS) were selected as GHE materials. The maximum heat exchange capacity of GHEs were estimated to be in the range of 33.0~104 kcal/min. The heat exchange capacity of STS GHEs was 2.4~3.2 times higher than that of PE GHE. The optimal cross section area of GHE and flow rate of circulating water of GHE were estimated to be $2,500mm^2$ and 113 L/min, respectively. For more complicated GHE of the CWG systems, it is necessary to evaluate GHEs at various scales.
The additional mechanism Is required to set up a secure connection among the communication subjects in the internet environment. Each entity should transfer and receive the encrypted and hashed data to guarantee the data integrity. Also, the mutual authentication procedure should be processed using a secure communication protocol. The SSL/TLS is a protocol which creates the secure communication channel among the communication subjects and sends/receives a data. Although the OpenSSL which implements the TLS is using by many developers and its stability and performance are proved, it has a difficulty in using because of its large size. So, this Paper designs and implements the secure communication which the users can use easily by modification works of OpenSSL library API. We proved the real application results using the DRM client/server case which supports a secure communication using the implemented API.
We present a transformation which converts open-code multi-staged programs into closed ones. Staged computation, which explicitly divides a computation into separate stages, is a unifying framework for existing program generation systems. Because a multi-staged program generates another program, which can also generate a third program and on, the implementation of a multi-staged language is not straightforward. Dynamic binding of (lexically free) variables in code also makes the implementation of a multi-staged language hard. By converting each code into code of function which takes environment for free variables as its argument and giving an actual environment at the code-composition site, we can transform a open-code program into a closed-code one. Combining with Davies and Pfenning's method, our closed-code-conversion enables the implementation of the unstaged language to be useful for executing multi-staged programs. We also prove the correctness of our conversion: the converted program is equivalent to the original program, and the converted program does not have open code.

Open-loop groundwater heat pump (GWHP) system generally has benefits such as a higher coefficient of performance (COP), lower initial cost, and flexible system size. The hydrogeological conditions in Korea have the potential to facilitate the use of the GWHP system because a large number of monitoring wells show stable groundwater temperatures, shallow water levels, and high well yields. However, few studies have been performed in Korea regarding the GWHP system and the most studies among them dealt with Standing Column Well (SCW). Because the properties of the aquifer have an influence on designing open-loop systems, it is necessary to perform studies on various hydrogeological settings. In this study, the hydrogeological and thermal properties were estimated through various tests in the riverside alluvial layer where a GWHP system was installed. Under different groundwater flow velocities and pumping and injection rates, a sensitivity analysis was performed to evaluate the effect of such properties on the design of open-loop systems. The results showed that hydraulic conductivity and thermal dispersivity of the aquifer are the most sensitive parameters in terms of performance and environmental aspects, and sensitivities of the properties depend on conditions.

This study investigated the information environment of lecturers in Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria, in relation to their information seeking behavior, extent of use of the polytechnic library, perceptions of the resources and services of the library, level of awareness and extent of use of the open access model of scholarly communications, as well as the challenges of accessing and using information resources. It adopted the survey research method, using a questionnaire for data collection, while the descriptive statistics method was used to analyse the data, using tabular presentation and simple percentages. From a population of 280 lecturers for the study, a purposive sample of 164 was drawn. The findings showed that the lecturers' information needs are focused on online use; they hardly use the polytechnic library due to their perceptions of the resources and services of the library. They are, to a greater extent, aware of open access initiatives, but do not publish in open access outlets, while various challenges affect their access and use of information resources for teaching and research. A recommendation was made, among others, that the polytechnic management should pay more critical attention to the library especially in the areas of adequate, current and comprehensive collections on all the programmes of the institution, as well as the provision of wireless internet services on the campus through a public-private partnership arrangement.
