최근 IT, 모바일 기술의 발전으로 공간정보는 국민생활과 국가경제의 인프라 역할을 수행하고 있으며, SNS 소셜커머스를 비롯한 많은 어플리케이션에서 공간정보를 활용하여 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 국가 공간정보 서비스를 안정적으로 제공할 수 있는 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 서비스(VWorld)의 등장에 사람들의 관심이 크게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현재 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 시스템은 실시간 모니터링 시스템이 도입되지 않은 상태로 오픈플랫폼의 실시간 부하 및 사용 현황을 파악하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 오픈플랫폼 시스템의 웹 사용자로그정보를 이용하여 데이터 전송량, 네트워크 점유율, 서비스 방문자 수, Hit 건수, 접속 경로, 주요 이용 콘텐츠와 관련된 사용현황을 분석하고 그 결과를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 결과가 오픈플랫폼 서비스의 모든 사용 현황을 파악하기에는 부족한 면이 있지만, 해마다 변화하는 오픈플랫폼의 사용현황을 파악하기 위한 기본 자료로, 또한 오픈플랫폼 시스템 확장에 있어서의 기초자료로서 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

웹 2.0은 정보의 개방을 통해 인터넷 사용자들 간의 정보 공유와 참여를 이끌어내고 이를 통해 정보의 가치를 지속적으로 증대시키는 것으로 누구든지 웹에서 제공하는 각종 데이터를 활용하여 다양한 서비스를 생산할 수 있는 플랫폼으로서의 웹(Web as Platform)환경을 의미한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 실현하기 위해 도처에 설치되어 있는 임베디드 컴퓨터로부터 정보 및 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 임베디드 환경 지원을 위한 웹 기술을 연구한다. 즉, 웹 2.0의 트랜드인 공유와 개방을 지원하기 위해 임베디드 시스템에 탑재되어 실시간으로 다양한 정보 및 서비스를 다수의 인터넷 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 Open API 서비스를 제공하는 플랫폼을 설계한다.

본 논문은 차세대 통합 커뮤니케이션 서비스 시스템에 대하여 기술한다. 차세대 통합 커뮤니케이션은 기업 내 직원들의 의사 소통 및 정보 공유를 위하여 전화, SMS(Short Message Service), 이메일, 채팅과 같은 기본 통신 수단에 소셜 네트워킹 서비스를 새로운 통신 수단으로 결합하여, 하나의 통합된 인터페이스에서 제공하는 서비스를 의미한다. 본 논문의 차세대 통합 커뮤니케이션 시스템은 차세대 UC(Unified Communications) 응용서비스, 개방형 UC 서비스 플랫폼, UC 백엔드 서버로 구성된다. 응용서비스는 웹 응용과 스마트폰에 탑재되는 모바일 응용으로 구성된다. 개방형 UC 서비스 플랫폼은 UC 응용서비스가 아닌 써드 파티 응용서비스에게 기업 내의 기본 및 소셜 네트워킹 서비스에 접근할 수 있는 개방형 서비스 컴포넌트를 제공한다. 백엔드 서버는 기업내의 전화, SMS, 이메일, 채팅을 위한 서버 기능을 제공한다.

1995년 이후 수행된 국가지리정보체계(NGIS) 사업에 따라 중앙정부와 지방자치단체는 많은 공간정보를 축적하였으며, 국토교통부는 2012년 1월 공간정보 오픈플랫폼(V-World) 서비스를 시작하여 다양한 기능과 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 사용자가 실질적으로 원하는 데이터와 민간의 비즈니스 영역에서 활용하기 위한 데이터 부재, 지자체에서의 활용 및 홍보 부족 그리고 민간협력 미흡 등의 난제로 국가 공간정보 플랫폼으로써의 확실한 돌파구를 찾지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 공간정보 오픈플랫폼이 서비스 된지 3년이 지난 현재의 연구동향을 분석하면, 주로 해외진출, 연계, 서비스개선, 활용, 향후전략에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 선진 해외의 공간정보 플랫폼 구축동향과 국내 연구동향을 분석하여, 신기술과 비즈니스 플랫폼의 개념, 서울시 공간정보 플랫폼 등을 종합하여 미래 공간정보 오픈 플랫폼의 구축을 위한 정책을 제시하고자 한다.

카카오톡 가입자 수가 1억 명(2013년 7월)을 돌파하며 급속한 성장세를 보이고 있다. 카카오톡이 많은 사람들의 일상생활에서 필수품으로 자리 잡자 카카오톡에 대한 연구도 활발해지고 있다. 하지만 기존 연구에서는 플랫폼으로서의 카카오톡에 대한 분석, 다시 말해 주식회사 카카오의 플랫폼 전략에 대한 분석이 충실하게 이뤄지지 않았다. 본 연구는 플랫폼 전략에 대한 대표적인 연구인 Platform Leadership(Gawer & Cusumano, 2002; 2008)과 Winner-take-all dynamics(Eisenmann et al, 2006), Open Service Innovation(Chesbrough, 2011)의 논의 내용을 이론적 배경으로 삼아, 주식회사 카카오의 플랫폼 전략을 분석했다. 분석 결과 카카오가 경쟁자인 다음커뮤니케이션의 마이피플과 네이버의 라인을 제친 것은 Eisenmann et al(2006)의 승자독식 플랫폼의 조건으로 설명됐다. 이렇게 경쟁자들을 제압한 카카오는 이동통신사들의 유료 문자 메시지에 머물러 있던 모바일 소셜 커뮤니케이션의 수준을 새로운 차원으로 격상시켜야 한다는 '극히 중요한 문제(essential problem)'를 해결함으로써 모바일 인스턴트 메신저라는 새로운 플랫폼을 창출하는 Gawer & Cusumano(2008)의 Coring 전략의 첫 번째 요건을 충족시켰다. 이어서 카카오는 카카오톡 아이템스토어와 모바일 게임 플랫폼(게임하기)을 통해 생태계 구성원들에게 경제적 인센티브를 제공함으로써 Coring 전략의 두 번째 요건(생태계 구성원들을 위한 경제적 인센티브 제공)도 충족시켰다. 카카오는 고객의 아이디어를 적극 받아들여 카카오톡 서비스를 지속적으로 개선해 대고객 플랫폼 리더십을 강화함으로써 Chesbrough(2011)의 Outside in-Open Service Innovation전략을 실행했다.

SMBA (Small and Medium Business Administration) and TIPA (Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs) have operated the Business Innovation Platform for SME Informatization based on cloud computing technology with the cooperation of seven industry cooperatives since 2013. This project will evolve into the open market platform where service providers and users voluntarily participate and transact. This research conducts the literature review about the concept of open market and the empirical analysis through survey for the software providers and the future users regarding the future operation methods. The policy about how the open market strategy for the business innovation platform needs to be designed and implemented are organized as the three differentiated government support strategies. The first is to provide free IT services including specialized core operation support S/W which is developed only for the small or home office group of firms which lack minimal informatization capability and budget. The second is to augment IT platform service through incorporating ERP supplier initiated commercial S/W sales window for those firms having medium level informatization capability. This includes to provide IT support for customization and system integration with existing government subsidized S/W. The third is to provide upgrading services of existing S/W functions to facilitate better system utilization. The results provide useful insight for government role to enhance SME competitiveness using IT.

This paper presents a smart firefighting appliances monitoring system based on big data analytics platform using GS1 for Smart City. Typical firefighting appliances are fire hydrant, fire extinguisher, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire engine, etc. for the fire of classes A/B/C/D/E. Among them, the dry chemical fire extinguisher have been widely supplied and 6 millions ones were replaced for the aging ones over 10 years in the past year. However, only 5% of them have been collected for recycling of chemical materials included the heavy metals of environment pollution. Therefore, we considered the trace of firefighting appliances from production to disposal for the public open service. In the paper, we suggest 1) a smart firefighting appliances system using GS1, 2) a big data analytics platform and 3) a public open service and visualization with the analyzed information, for fire extinguishers from production to disposal. It can give the information and the visualized diagrams with the analyzed data through the public open service and the free Apps.

The method and process of research and development (R&D) is changing when we develop artificial intelligence (AI), and the way R&D results are dispersed is also changing. For the R&D process, using and participating in open-source ecosystems has become more important, so we need to be prepared for open source. For product and service development, a combination of AI algorithm, data, and computing power is needed. In this paper, we introduce ETRI AI Strategy #4, "Expanding AI Open Platform." It consists of two key tasks: one to build an AI open source platform (OSP) to create a cooperative AI R&D ecosystem, and another to systematize the "x+AI" open platform (XOP) to disperse AI technologies into the ecosystem.

Internet protocol television (IPTV), one of the most emerging services, offers multimedia streaming services with security, reliability, and relevant quality of service (QoS)/quality of experience (QoE). It provides added values to all the involving players and also brings technical and business challenges to them. For IPTV services, we expect to adopt the next generation network (NGN) environment for high quality and the Web technologies for personalization to meet the customer's necessity. Web can provide an open, flexible, and agile platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose personalized IPTV services based on Web-based open platform in NGN environment and present functional architecture for Web-based personalized IPTV services. Technical issues for deploying the proposed IPTV services using Web are also provided. The objective of this paper is to analyze the critical architectural issues for developing viable and feasible networking platform models for personalized IPTV services.

본 연구는 오픈액세스 출판지원 서비스 플랫폼인 AccessON 학술지 리포지터리 인터페이스 중 관리자 인터페이스의 사용성 평가를 통해 오픈액세스 출판지원 서비스 플랫폼의 개선방안을 모색하고자 하는 연구이다. 인터페이스의 사용경험 응답 수집, 이를 통한 이슈 및 개선점 도출, 타 오픈액세스 출판지원 서비스 플랫폼을 위한 제안사항 분석 및 도출이라는 세 가지 연구 질문에 대한 응답을 위해 오픈액세스 출판 및 사용성 평가에 관련된 각종 문헌과 사례같은 선행연구를 검토하였으며, 설문조사와 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 통해 관리자 인터페이스 사용경험에 대한 응답을 수집하였다. 이를 종합하여 AccessON 학술지 리포지터리 인터페이스의 사용성 평가 결과를 각종 수치정보를 통해 제시할 수 있었다. 사용성 평가의 결과는 AccessON 학술지 리포지터리 관리자 인터페이스의 이슈 및 개선점을 제안가능하게 하였으며 최종적으로 이후 개발될 오픈액세스 학술출판지원 서비스 플랫폼을 위한 제안사항을 도출할 수 있었다.
