모바일 마이크로블로깅(Mobile Microblogging) 서비스의 사용요인에 관한 연구 (A Research on Usage Factors of Mobile Microblogging Service)

  • Microblogging is a Web2.0 technology that is used to manage online interpersonal relationship in SNS. Microblogging service allows the users to publish online brief text updates, usually less than 140~200 characters, sometimes images too. Recently, it becomes more and more popular. There are many reasons, the major one of which is that it can be perfectly combined with mobile. Based on technology acceptance model (TAM) and according to mobile service and microblogging service, this research adds four attributes : Perceived enjoyment, Habit, Mobility, Social Influence. It studies the factors that will impact on the way in which people use rapid developing Mobile Microblogging Service. This research will compare the influence factors and intension to use with the results from other studies with SNS and Mobile Microblogging Service, and then conclude the differences that can be generated in Microblogging.

  • 세계적으로 온라인 평판 분석 서비스의 개발 및 SNS 이슈 분석과 영향도 평가 등의 서비스 이용추세가 증가하고 있다. 현재 SNS나 소셜미디어등 온라인을 통해 고객들의 서비스에 대한 정성적인 평가 및 요구사항이 실시간으로 표현되고 있으며, 서비스에 대한 부정적인 여론이 확산되기 전에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 기업들에게 시급히 요구되고 있다. 이러한 시스템 개발을 위해서 선행되어야 할 기술개발 요건으로 B2C 산업의 특성에 기반한 다양한 분석 주제를 설정하고, 이에 맞는 다양한 동일 산업군에 대한 시스템 적용을 위한 분류 표준화가 필수이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 수행하기 위해서 대표 산업군을 선정하여 기존 업무 분류 체계를 기반으로 한 온라인상의 고객 피드백 분류 및 표준화 수립에 대한 방법을 제안한다.

온라인 매체와 댓글에 따른 영화 구전의도 및 관람의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the eWOM and Selecting Movie According to Online Media and Replies)

  • A great number of customers, who want to watch movies usually check out online reviews before choosing what to watch a movie. The most representative online media that customers consult are portal sites and SNS (Social Network Service). Although there have been numerous studies on online eWOM (e-Word of Mouth) and the effects of online media in businesses, it remains a question that which media is best for WOM (Word of Mouth) when selecting movies. This research examines customer's intention for consulting eWOM and for watching movies according to the number and tendency of online replies. We have compared portal sites and SNS about information of movie. The study shows that a large number of positive replies can affect the intention for WOM and choosing movies. Facebook has more influence than portal sites when choosing what to watch when replies consist of large and positive comments. However, there is no difference between the two types of media when they consist of negative comments.

SNS 선물하기에서 친교욕구의 형성 및 그 영향력 연구 (A Study on the Formation and Impact of Online Friendship Desire in SNS Gifting)

  • From old times, companies have created profits by developing business models utilizing their friendship with customers, so the relationships can be connected to the activity giving a gift. This activity of giving a gift is developed as the service of giving gifts via social network services (SNS) as the use of SNS and smart phones is recently increased in relation to that, this study set the online friendship desire and the SNS gift convenience as the intrinsic motive and the extrinsic motive of the SNS gift behavior, respectively. This study identified how the interactivity's sub factors influenced on the online friendship desire/SNS gift convenience by reorganizing the interactivity's sub factors in the mobile context. As the results of this study, it was found that the connectedness, the synchronicity and playfulness positively influenced on the online friendship desire for the SNS gift convenience, the only connectedness positively influenced on it. And it was identified that the SNS gift convenience and the online friendship desire positively influenced on the SNS gift intention. This study is academically meaningful in that it conducted an empirical research by focusing on the friendship desire in relation to the SNS gift. Besides, through the results of this study, the online friendship desire and the SNS gift convenience will have to be considered as providing any SNS gift service, and that is expected to create knowledge for SNS business model to companies.

Study on the Characteristics of Fashion Leaders in College Clubs' Fashion Networks

  • Fashion leadership is divided into visual influence, linguistic influence, and dual leadership. We refer to people exercising such influential power as fashion innovators, fashion opinion leaders, and fashion double leaders, respectively. Scholars and marketers have raised continuous questions on this issue: who are these fashion leaders and what characteristics do they have? In this study, social network analysis is applied to grasp the existence of three types of fashion leaders in college clubs, examine their positions in fashion process networks and investigate their individual and social characteristics. For this study, three college clubs were recruited through convenience sampling and surveyed online. Peer nomination questions for structuring fashion process networks and self-evaluation questions for measuring personal characteristics are included. Two fashion networks, an opinion leadership network and an innovativeness network, embrace four to six leaders and illustrate similar structure patterns in the three groups, which indicates that dual leaders enjoyed the lion's share in college clubs. The number of fashion innovators tends to be fewer compared to that of fashion opinion leaders, and we infer that peer relationship appears to intervene with fashion opinion leadership. Other personal characteristics supporting results from previous studies are also confirmed in this study.

Exploring the Movements of Chinese Free Independent Travelers in the U.S.: A Social Network Analysis Approach

  • In a new age of smart tourism, free independent travelers (FITs) choose their travel routes in a more diversified and less predictable way with the aid of smart services. This paper focuses on the movements of Chinese outbound FITs in the U.S. in the year of 2018. 110 places to visit (destinations) extracted from 122 travel routes recommendations on Qyer.com, a major online travel community in China, are analyzed with social network analysis (SNA). Based on the results of SNA, employing degree centrality, eigenvector centrality, betweenness centrality, network visualization, and cluster diagram methods, some preferred cities and natural attractions outside city centers (i.e., New York City (NYC), Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Niagara Falls) are identified. Moreover, it is found that NYC in the East and Los Angeles in the West play a major role in the movements of Chinese FITs. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on tourist destination movements and provides valuable implications for smart service development in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Segmenting Chinese Texts into Words for Semantic Network Analysis

  • Unlike most languages, written Chinese has no spaces between words. Word segmentation must be performed before semantic network analysis can be conducted. This paper describes how to perform Chinese word segmentation using the Stanford Natural Language Processing group's Stanford Word Segmenter v. 3.8.0, released in June 2017.

스마트 SNS 맵: 위치 정보를 기반으로 한 스마트 소셜 네트워크 서비스 데이터 맵핑 및 시각화 시스템 (Smart SNS Map: Location-based Social Network Service Data Mapping and Visualization System)

  • Hundreds of millions of new posts and information are being uploaded and propagated everyday on Online Social Networks(OSN) like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. This paper proposes and implements a GPS-location based SNS data mapping, analysis, and visualization system, called Smart SNS Map, which collects SNS data from Twitter and Instagram using hundreds of PlanetLab nodes distributed across the globe. Like no other previous systems, our system uniquely supports a variety of functions, including GPS-location based mapping of collected tweets and Instagram photos, keyword-based tweet or photo searching, real-time heat-map visualization of tweets and instagram photos, sentiment analysis, word cloud visualization, etc. Overall, a system like this, admittedly still in a prototype phase though, is expected to serve a role as a sort of social weather station sooner or later, which will help people understand what are happening around the SNS users, systems, society, and how they feel about them, as well as how they change over time and/or space.

스마트폰의 교육용 어플리케이션 동향분석 및 발전방향 연구 (The Analysis of Trends in Smart Phone Applications for Education and Suggestions for Improved Educational Use)

  • 본 연구는 현재 공급되고 있는 교육용 어플리케이션에 다양한 기준을 적용하여 분석하고, 온라인 또는 원격교육의 특성이 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지에 대한 가능성을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 총 85개의 교육용 어플리케이션을 선정하였고, 콘텐츠 유형, 상호작용 유형, 콘텐츠 유형과 상호작용 유형의 조합을 준거로 분석하였다. 분석결과 콘텐츠 유형에서 반복연습형 및 도구형 등 빈도는 높은 반면, 모의실험과 문제해결형의 빈도는 낮았다. 상호작용에 있어서는 학습자와 콘텐츠 간 상호작용 유형이 대부분을 차지하였는데, 따라서 원활한 학습자간 의사소통의 확장이 이루어지는데 한계가 있었다. 따라서 SNS(Social Network Service) 어플리케이션 등의 특징을 적용하여 학습의 상호작용성을 촉진시키기 위한 목적으로 교육용 어플리케이션이 개발될 필요성이 있음이 발견되었다. 아울러 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 스마트폰의 교육적 활용에 관한 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

제품관여 수준에 따라 소셜 정보가 추천 성능에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Information on Recommendation Performance According to the Product Involvement Level)

  • With the rapid increase of social network usage, there are emerging trends of adopting social information among online users in building recommendation system. This study aims to investigate whether the additional usage of social information can improve recommendation performance in recommendation system and how much the improvement can be different according to the product involvement level. As an experiment result, social information does not affect positively to the recommendation accuracy but affect significantly to the recommendation quality. Also social information contributed more sensitively to the improvement of recommendation quality in high product involvement domain.
