  • Offline-first strategy is that it allows data to be saved while offline, and when connected online, data is synchronized to ensure that all devices have the same data. Multi-device is a term that shares data through synchronization on various platforms on Android, ios, etc. First, all of the data is stored in the local repository like SQLite and then on the server via HTTP communication. Then, the synchronization is completed by receiving the changed data from the server and storing it in the local repository at the time of the synchronization, and sending the changes to the server from the client. We proposed and implemented a database structure, APIs, and a illustrative application running on PC and Android phone.

Methods: We searched for clinical trial studies of acupuncture treatment for depression using neuroimaging method in the MEDLINE (Pubmed), OASIS, and RISS database. Once the online search was finished, studies were selected manually by the inclusion criteria. Finally, we analyzed the characteristics of selected articles and reviewed the neural substrates of acupuncture treatment in depression. Results: Total eight studies were included in this study. The most frequently utilized modality was functional MRI. The most frequently selected acupoint for depression was GV20. Several studies revealed that acupuncture treatment could improve the symptoms of depression. In this manuscript, we demonstrated that neuroimaging techniques could capture the neural substrates associated with depression and acupuncture treatment may modulate the activation of brain areas which were impaired in depression in a different way from sham acupuncture. Conclusions: Utilizing neuroimaging methods to explore neural mechanism of acupuncture treatment on depression would be helpful in clinical trials and more efforts should be needed in this fields.

  • It is very difficult problem to estimate and evaluate the performance of e-government system which scope and size are large and its effectiveness can not be seen shortly but reveals after several years. It is because the previous offline processes can not be transformed to online ones fully and shortly. For such e-transformation cases, the performance evaluation model should be adjusted and modified gradually as time passes. This paper propose new EEM(E-transformation Evaluation Model) model and methodology to evaluate G2B system that is one of large e-government project. EEM model can derive monetary value of e-transformatized business process areas(online areas). It also estimate the expected effect of offline area that is not yet transformed to online. EEM model consists of standard model, verification model and estimation model with some variables such as evaluation year, evaluation area and data type. By using survey data and database data together it can validate the correctness of the model and derive the effect of the system introduction. This paper also propose EEM evaluation methodology consisting of 5 stages and 10 sub processes to evaluate online and offline effect efficiently. To show the usefulness of this study, we evaluate the performance of Korea G2B system named KONEPS which is famous as a successful e-government case in the world by using the proposed model and methodology. The proposed model and methodology can be applied to different similar areas including e-government projects and large scale information system introduction in private sectors. This study can be also used for establishing appropriate policies about e-government project and informatization issues.

  • The purpose of this paper is to quickly identify school parents, teachers, students, community needs and opinions for curriculum organizing and the implementation of an online survey system for operating educational activities. Online survey system should be implemented based on Limesurvey to reduce costs and administrative costs. Limesurvery is available without the development of the separate program and offers the form of web-based template system, complete design, layout. Also, Limesurvey offers basic statistical analysis of survey data. Limesurvey can be executed by installing the program on a web hosting, typing database information. Limesurvey can be made a graph of the statistical results. Besides, Limesurvery can be stored in the form of HTML, Word, Excel, CSV Files and can be stured as basic datas for SPSS or PASW, R data, other statistical processing programs. If we could be operate Limesurvey in the form of open source-based survey program in elementary school, we could be reduced teacher's unnecessary work for statistics and overcame the problem of offline survey system.

  • In recent years, the film industry in South Korea has experienced a period of prosperity, evidenced by the numerous awards won at major international film festivals. Furthermore, growing global interest in K-content and the expansion of the OTT industry following the COVID-19 pandemic are providing favorable conditions for the development of the domestic film industry. Sound effects play a crucial role in conveying the atmosphere and emotions of a film, making them an essential element of film production. In response, the Jeonju IT & CT Industry Promotion Agency has been promoting the development of Korean-style sound effects since 2013. Furthermore, the agency launched an online service called the "K-Sound Library," a sound effect archive, in 2021. However, the service has not been widely utilized because of issues with the database's construction and the system's problems. Therefore, this study aims to identify the K-Sound Library's problems through interviews with sound effects specialists about the online service of the first sound effect archive in South Korea. Based on the interviews and analyses of foreign cases, the study suggests ways to improve the search services' usability and the sound effects classification system.

  • In the past, buyers and suppliers met each other to find common interests off-line in exhibitions and conferences, or through personal connection. These activities were time consuming and costly. With the advent of information era, these activities moved to online market places, where buyers search for suppliers with a set of keywords that are believed to be representative of their requirements. Its fundamental assumption is that all the potential candidates are registered in a certain database. However, recently buyers want to diversify suppliers due to needs of cost competitiveness or frequent new product development. To this end, instead of choosing suppliers from the supplier pool, discovering suppliers from all over the world should be emphasized. In order to enable buyers to describe their requirements and suppliers to capture their manufacturing capabilities via online market places, the semantic differences of terms between buyers and suppliers should be resolved. The paper summarizes various supplier discovery frameworks and prototype systems, which can be employed to expose domestic small-medium enterprises into global buyers in the near future.

  • Background: Exposure factors for consumer products have been developed since the 1980s. Such exposure factors are important in risk assessment. Since the exposure/use patterns of consumer products in a country may reflect its respective cultural, meteorological, and socio-economic circumstances, unique Korean exposure factors for consumer products are needed. Such exposure factors are required for newly-enacted chemical regulations in Korea. For this review, published papers and survey reports on exposure factors of consumer products were examined for their assessment methodologies. Results: Investigation into exposure factors for consumer products used a variety of methods: home visit, online, telephone, and mail surveys using questionnaires; face to face interviews; modeling using a constructed database; and direct measurement. To collect more accurate exposure information or to check the reliability of the sampling method, some studies were repeated using the same questionnaire, in-home observation, direct measurement of usage, and videotaping. In Korea, nationwide exposure surveys were conducted five times over five years to obtain Korean exposure factors. However, with the exception of the $5^{th}$-year study, the surveys were online questionnaires and only the $5^{th}$-year study validated the accuracy of exposure information by re-visits and direct measurement. Conclusion: Accurate exposure factors are an essential part of risk assessment to assure safe use of consumer products. For better and safer management of consumer products, accurate exposure factors in Korea should be assessed for various exposure pathways.

  • In this study an information filtering system was implemented and a series of relevance feedback experiments were conducted using the system. For the relevance feedback, the original queries were searched against the database and the results were reviewed by the researchers. Based on users' online relevance judgements a pair of 17 refined queries were generated using two methods called 'co-occurrence exclusion method' and 'lower frequencies exclusion method,' In order to generate them, the original queries, the descriptors and category codes appeared in either relevant or irrelevant document sets were applied as elements. Users' relevance judgments on the search results of the refined queries were compared and analyzed against those of the original queries.
