Social Distance of Affective Advice: The Role of Construal Level in Acceptance of Rational and Emotional Advice

  • Social network service provides an excellent platform for people seeking for advices. This research analyzed the effect of rational and emotional response and social distance on people's acceptance for advices online by the construal level theory. An experiment was completed to test the relationship between advisers and questioners and verify the content of online feedback would influence people's acceptance for advices on social network site. The online response included emotional advice and rational advice. Social distance between advisers and questioners was divided to close social distance condition and distant social distance condition. The study showed: (1) comparing with emotional advice, rational advice had a higher persuasive effect in both close and distant social distance conditions; (2) the impact of feedback from people with close social distance was stronger than the impact of the advices from people with distant social distance; (3) there existed an interaction effect between social distance and affective advice. The results revealed that the adviser's affective expression and relationship with the questioner would interactively impact the online persuasive effect.

비동시적 온라인 토론활동에 참여한 간호대학생의 사회적 실재감, 인지적 실재감, 온라인 학습만족도의 관계 (The relationship between Social Presence, Cognitive Presence and Online Learning Satisfaction of Nursing Students who experienced Asynchronous Online Discussion Activities)

  • 본 연구는 비동시적 온라인 토론활동에 참여한 간호대학생의 사회적 실재감, 인지적 실재감이 온라인학습만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구는 2020년 12월부터 2개월간 일개대학 4학년 간호대학생 93명을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 t검정, ANOVA, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 사회적 실재감, 인지적 실재감, 온라인 학습만족도는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였고, 온라인 학습만족도에 직접적인 영향요인으로는 사회적 실재감으로 나타났다. 온라인 학습만족도에 대한 설명력은 62.9%로 나타났다. 결과를 바탕으로 다양한 교과목에서 온라인 토론활동의 학습만족도를 높이기 위해서 간호대학생의 사회적 실재감을 높이는 방안이 필요하며 향후 실재감 향상 프로그램 중재 관련 후속연구를 제언한다.

온라인 중고제품 구매에 관한 지각된 위험과 구매의도: 온/오프 중고품 구매경험의 조절효과 (Examining the Moderating Role of Purchase Experience in the Relationship between Perceived Risk and Purchase Intention of Online Used Goods)

  • In the ever-increasing online secondhand product market, the perceived risk of online used products purchase was identified as a factor influencing consumer purchase intention. The results of this study are as follows. First, the relationship between the perceived risk of online secondhand purchase and purchase intention was presented with somewhat different results for each sub-risk factor. First of all, a significant negative causal relationship between physical risk, time loss risk, psychological risk, social risk and online used product purchase intention was verified. On the other hand, financial risk and functional risk did not show a statistically significant relationship with online used products purchase intention. Second, as a result of research on the moderating effect of purchasing experience, offline purchasing experience of used products and online purchasing experience were verified differently. First of all, the moderating effect of the online purchase experience of used products was significant only in the relationship between psychological and social risks on the intention to purchase used products online. The experience of purchasing used products online is believed to reduce uncertainty about the surrounding response to purchasing used products online and weaken the intention to purchase used products online by reducing tension and concerns about purchasing them. Other risks, such as financial risk, performance risk, physical risk, time loss risk, and online purchase experience of used products, were verified to have no significant effect on online used products purchase intention. In addition, the offline purchase experience of used products did not verify a significant moderating effect on the effect of all perceived risks on online used product purchase intention.

간호대학생의 대인관계문제와 우울 관계 : 온라인 및 오프라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과 (Interpersonal Problems and Depression in Nursing Student : Moderating Effects of Online and Offline Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 대인관계문제와 우울관계에서 온라인 및 오프라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 파악하기 위하여 구조모형 분석을 이용한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 간호대학생 264명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 Smart PLS 3.0을 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, PLS-SEM(Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 대인관계문제와 온라인 사회적 지지가 우울 증가에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며 오프라인 사회적 지지가 우울감소에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 대인관계문제와 우울과의 관계에서 오프라인 사회적 지지만이 조절효과에 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생의 대인관계문제로 인한 우울 감소를 위해 오프라인 사회적 지지가 적극적으로 제공되어야 하며, 온라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 확인하기 위해 SNS를 통한 인간관계유형 등 관련 변수를 포함함 반복 연구를 제안한다.

소셜 네트워크 사이트의 사용자 충성도에 관계혜택과 사회적 영향이 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Relational Benefits and Relationship Commitment on Customer Loyalty for Social network Sites)

  • Due to the development of social networks and smartphones, many different kinds of issues have emerged in business and society. By reflecting these trends, social network sites have appeared and they are recognized as the new concept of sites. The major feature of the social network sites is that the social relationship had been taken to the online space. Social network sites support the formation of a network and offer users the relationship between users offline as well as online. Based on the features mentioned above, users enjoy the benefits using social network sites. These social network sites in the enterprise can be used to form relationships with customers. This study identified the influencing factors as relational benefits and social influence on relationship commitment in social network sites. In addition, we analyzed that how the relationship commitment between users affects user loyalty after their using social network sites. We presented empirical results by utilizing structural equation model with 244 respondents and the significant implications for the academy and the practice with discussions.

노인의 온라인 사회관계가 우울에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Online Social Relationship on Depression among Older Adults in South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 온라인 사회관계가 우울에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 서울 소재 복지관 2곳의 정보화교육프로그램(컴퓨터 기초반, 스마트폰반, 인터넷반)에 참여한 60세 이상 노인 총 144명을 대상으로 설문조사결과를 분석하였다. Williams(2006)의 사회자본척도(On and Off the 'Net' Scales for Social Capital in an Online Era)를 사용해 노인의 온라인 사회관계를 측정하였으며, 온라인 사회관계가 우울에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 인구사회학적 변수, 건강관련 변수, 스트레스 변수를 모두 통제한 상태에서도 온라인 결속형 사회관계는 노인의 우울에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 지역 내 온라인 결속형 사회관계 강화 프로그램이 필요하며, IT교육 프로그램을 통해 온라인 결속형 사회관계를 강화시키는 것이 노인의 우울감소에 도움이 됨을 시사하고 있다.

청소년의 온라인 게임과 사이버 일탈에 관한 연구 (Online Games and Cyber Delinquency among Adolescents)

  • Online games are very popular among adolescents in Korea. They sometimes lead to cyber delinquency. An ethnographic analysis was conducted in this study to address the social significance of online games. The results showed that the adolescents who were addicted to or indulged in the games were likely to commit delinquency online and/or offline. Delinquency in an information society is typically individualistic, whereas deviant behaviors in an industrial society are more social and collective, such as group violence. Parenting style, student-teacher relationship, peer pressure, game environment, and recreational facilities for the adolescents were intertwined with such adolescent delinquency. Finally, some implications of the online games from the perspective of social welfare practice were discussed to prevent online game indulgence and addiction and adolescent delinquency.

거부민감성과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 온라인 사회적 지지의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Online Social Support in the Relationship between Rejection Sensitivity and SNS Addiction Tendency)

  • 본 연구는 성인의 거부민감성과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계를 온라인 사회적 지지가 조절하는지 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전국 성인 486명을 대상으로 SNS 중독경향성 척도, 거부민감성 척도, 온라인 사회적 지지척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 27, PROCESS Macro 3.5를 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, SNS 중독경향성, 거부민감성, 온라인 사회적 지지는 모두 정적상관이 있었다. 둘째, 거부민감성과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 온라인 사회적 지지는 남자집단에서 조절효과가 나타났다. 이는 온라인 사회적 지지 수준에 따라 거부민감성으로 인한 SNS 중독경향성이 남자집단에서 다르게 나타남을 의미한 다. 본 연구의 결과는 남녀 집단에서 SNS 중독경향성을 확인하는데 거부민감성과 온라인 사회적 지지의 중요성을 확인하였다는데 의의가 있다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 한계점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

온라임 게임의 전유가 게임 성과에 미치는 영향 : 대규모 다중사용자 온라인 역할수행게임을 중심으로 (The Influence of Appropriation and on Performance in Online Game: Focusing on MMORPG)

  • One of the most important reasons for using online game is intrinsic motivation which relates the drive to perform a behavior for perceptions of pleasure and satisfaction from the behavior itself. Therefore, most studies for using online game have been based on theories for intrinsic motivation such as flow. However, such theories have some limitations for explaining social aspects of online games such as Massively Multiplayer Online Role Game (MMORPG), which provides a society for game players by using a virtual space for playing games so called 'persistent world'. Adaptive structuration theory (AST) is one of trying to capture the change of using IT due to social interactions between users and system. In order to explain online game players' behavior considering social interaction, we suggest a research model based on AST. Our model aims to investigate the relationship between appropriation which is determined by faithfulness of appropriation (FOA) and consensus on appropriation (COA) and performance which is represented by the relationship among perceived winning, flow, and intention of reuse. An empirical test of our model for 125 MMORPG users which is analyzed by Partial Least Square method shows very satisfactory and interesting results. While hypotheses suggested in our model are supported, the influence of COA on game performance is shown to be stronger than that of FOA.

소셜 네트워크 사이트에서 온라인 관계를 통한 지식공헌: 개인관계이론 관점 (Knowledge Contribution through online Relationship in Social Network Site: Personal Relationship Theory Perspective)

  • Today, Internet users start off using heavily SNS(Social Network Site) such like, Facebook, Twitter. The reason of the growth of using SNS would be closely related to the various services of gaming, playing, entertainment items, sharing information etc., provided by the SNS, technically, the most important one out of the services provided would be behaving of sharing knowledge among people who connected and networked in the site. In sum, we assume that the users may communicate well each other and pay attention to build closely a social network using that kind of activities. However, nevertheless the new trends of communications and sharing knowledge become popular, researchers have just began the research issues in explaining why Internet user rush into SNS and enjoy the time in there. Therefore, we investigate on the reasons of posting knowledge voluntarily in the SNS and how others response to the posted information and actually affected by the behavior. We appled personal relation and social identity theory for this study, which personal relation in SNS may affect on social identity and make them produce knowledge generation. We found that social identity and involvement in SNS is closely related and influence knowledge creation and generation. This empirical study resulted in the importance of social relations in SNS, which leads to a sharing knowledge.
