A study of service control strategies against infringement accidents (침해사고 대응을 위한 서비스 제어전략에 관한 연구)

  • With the construction of vast networks, Internet based services such as online games and Internet banking are steadily increasing. As dysfunctions of the trend, various threats from worms/viruses to hacking are proliferating and new types and variations of worms/viruses are emerging. In response to the problems, telecommunication carriers and the government we establishing systems to cope with infringement accidents and resultant damages. However, in case of nationwide emergencies like the 1.25 Accident, infringement may spread rapidly while analyzing what kind of infringement it is and that may result in enormous losses. Thus, the paper purposed to analyze the states of infringement accidents occurring at each network and coping methods and checklist, based on the results. and to propose strategies for controlling services in case of large scale infringement accidents.

  • We are in overload status of information not just in a flood of information due to the data pouring from various kinds of mobile devices, online and Social Network Service(SNS) every day. While there are many existing information already created, lots of new information has been created from moment to moment. Linkage analysis has the shortcoming in that it is difficult to find the information we want since the number of rules increases geometrically as the number of item increases with the method of finding out frequent item set where the frequency of item is bigger than minimum support in this information. In this regard, this thesis proposes WT-algorithm that represents the transaction data set as Boolean variable item and grants weight to each item by making algorithm with Quine-McKluskey used to simplify the logical function. The proposed algorithm can improve efficiency of data mining by reducing the unnecessary rules due to the advantage of simplification regardless of number of items.

Effects of Mobile Instant Messenger Usage Pattern and Intensity on Users' Social Capital: Focused on Users in Their 20's and 30's (모바일 인스턴트 메신저 이용 행태 및 이용강도가 사회자본에 미치는 영향: 20~30대 이용자들을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to examine how mobile instant messenger (MIM) usage pattern and MIM intensity influence MIM users' social capital. Total 253 MIM users in their 20's and 30's participated an online survey. Results showed that MIM frequency and network size affected bonding social capital. Meanwhile, MIM intensity was the only variable that influenced users' bridging social capital. Overall, the strength of strong ties in mobile media use was confirmed again. It was also confirmed that measuring the qualitative level of emotional attachment to the MIM (MIM intensity) was more important than gauging mere usage pattern when evaluating social capital enhancement through mobile media use.

  • The age of social network has arrived. Social media is the various online media for sharing of opinions and experiences and open for internet users' participation. As the new communication tools, social media has been in the limelight, threatening the traditional media as alternative media. In globalization, country image is seen as the source of competitiveness of a country. The goal of this study is to examine what impact does the utilization of social media has on country image, and we conducted our analysis in two aspects of social media utilization, usage volume and usage diversity. In addition, we examined the impact of factors that form the country image on purchase intention. The analytical results show that media usage volume positively affects country image, people image, political image and media usage diversity has significant effects on economical image, people image and political image.

  • In the initial stage, domestic games based online concentrated on game development focusing on income for some genres. However, various contents focusing on smart environment and social network are expanded at present and game materials are developed for more various objects. So, this study intends to examine new category, positive game, from the aspect of game designer for game approach based on various objects. And, game approaching process in the category based on pleasure was organized from the standpoint of designer, for the designer approach in the precedent stage of positive game development. From the aspect of designer, systemicity of game category and design approach are necessary to expand wire-wireless environment and new environment based on the convergence media to interactive contents focusing on games.

Developing the Korean Wave through Encouraging the Participation of YouTube users : The Case Study of the Korean Wave Youth Fans in Hong Kong (유투브(YouTube) 이용자들의 참여에 따른 한류의 확산: 홍콩의 10-20대 유투브(YouTube) 이용자조사를 중심으로)

  • This research aims to consider the participatory behaviors and the relationship building of the Hong Kong Korean Wave fans on YouTube and to explores the effect of the behaviors in order to spread the Korean Wave. Furthermore, this research seek ways of developing the Korean Wave contents based on fan participation on YouTube. The research conducted both Focus Group Interview and three rounds of email interviews with the Korean Wave fans in Hong Kong. They actively participated in expressing themselves, replying to other comments, and providing video contents as a fan. Also, the fans delivered the YouTube video contents to other Social Network Services(SNS), including facebook, and online fan pages in order to build ties with friends and other the Korean Wave global fans in daily lives. Their YouTube participation contributes to creating two-way communication between the Korean Wave and its global fans by spreading and re-creating the Korean Wave contents.

A Study on the Characteristics of Tourism Flow of Independent Tourists from China to South Korea Based on Tourists' Digital Footprint (디지털 여행기록 기반 중국 개별 관광객의 한국 관광경로 특성 분석)

  • This study takes Chinese independent tourists to South Korea as the research object, mines the data of tourists' digital footprints from online travel notes, and analyzes the characteristics of the tourism flow of Chinese independent tourists to South Korea by using the method of quantitative statistics and social network analysis(SNA). The results show that Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan and Daegu are the important tourist destinations for Chinese independent tourists entering South Korea. In addition, Qingdao, Tianjin, Shenyang, Hong Kong, Foshan and Macao are crucial hubs for Chinese independent tourists to visit South Korea. In future studies, the number of sample data should be increased. The time span of data collection should be extended for studying the annual variation characteristics of tourism flow and the trend of tourism hot spots.

  • There are a number of studies about the impact of social games' social network. But because of conflicting results, the game's effect isn't ascertained. In this study, we defined that using social games makes increase the social capital with construal level theory. The survey results on construal level, social capital, game using time, etc, are used for the analysis of the correlation and interact. As a result, growing bridging social capital shows on the people who use high level of construal and more social game time use. This phenomenon did not appear in other online games, so that makes a social games' feature unique characteristic. And we discovered that high level construals is key point for defining the practical use of media.

  • This study proposed SNS big data analysis method of food service industry in the 4th industrial revolution. This study analyzed the keyword of the fourth industrial revolution by using Google trend. Based on the data posted on the SNS from January 1, 2016 to September 5, 2017 (1 year and 8 months) utilizing the "Social Metrics". Through the social insights, the related words related to cooking were analyzed and visualized about attributes, products, hobbies and leisure. As a result of the analysis, keywords were found such as cooking, entrepreneurship, franchise, restaurant, job search, Twitter, family, friends, menu, reaction, video, etc. As a theoretical implication of this study, we proposed how to utilize big data produced from various online materials for research on restaurant business, interpret atypical data as meaningful data and suggest the basic direction of field application. In order to utilize positioning of customers of restaurant companies in the future, this study suggests more detailed and in-depth consumer sentiment as a basic resource for marketing data development through various menu development and customers' perception change. In addition, this study provides marketing implications for the foodservice industry and how to use big data for the cooking industry in preparation for the fourth industrial revolution.

  • As generation of Web 2.0 comes in, enormous information of corporation from various platform are being produced. However, corporations should understand features of each platform and appropriate strategies in order to attract the public in the midst of such flood of information. Numerous studies have been conducted regarding SNS which has grown rapidly in recent but a study relating a specific medium is relatively in short. So this study analyzed how information of Instagram bulletin board is accepted in perspective of consumer in Korean and America, We examined the relationship between intention of acceptance and Word Of Mouth effect through meditating effect of information usefulness. To answer the research question, we conducted online survey with Korean and USA college students. The result showed that usefulness of the information was shown to the major intermediary variable between the information characteristics of bulletin board and the intention of acceptance intention and Word Of Mouth(WOM).
