Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) has constructed online database of the Korean Astronomical Almanac as a part of the 'Knowledge and Information Business Project 2009' supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. Throughout this project, KASI provides both digitized images and extracted text from the almanac covering approximately 240 years. The primary purpose of this paper is to serve as a reference for users of the almanac database. Hence, we introduce the calendar history and kinds of the astronomical almanac used in Korea, and explain the contents of the almanacs according to its appearance time. We also briefly mention the steps employed in constructing the database system and Web site. Since ancient times, astronomical almanacs have been an essential part of daily life. We, therefore, believe that the astronomical almanac database constructed by KASI will prove its usefulness in various fields, and particularly in the study of historical astronomy.

KIEP를 중심으로 추진되고 있는 동북아관련 온라인 종합목록 시스템은 국내에서 처음으로 시도되고 있는 사회과학 도서관간 협력사업이라는 점에서 그 의의가 대단히 크다. 온라인 종합목록은 도서관 자원의 공유를 통해 인력 및 재정, 자료이용의 효율성을 극대화 할 수 있다는 점에서 당면한 문제해결에 좋은 방안으로 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비 MARC형식의 데이터베이스를 MARC형식의 데이터베이스로 통합해나가는 과정에 대한 문제점에 초점을 맞추고 있다.

온라인 기술시장은 기술거래에서 발생하는 거래비용을 낮춰줌으로써 기술공급자에게 기술을 외부적으로 활용할 기회를 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 이 논문은 온라인 기술시장의 존재가 기술공급자의 기술활용 전략에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 국내 온라인 기술시장 중 국가기술은행에 공급된 특허기술을 대상으로, 기술공급 기업이 온라인 기술시장에 제공하는 기술의 특성과 해당기업들이 보유하고 있는 특허기술의 특성을 비교하는 실증분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기술공급 기업이 온라인 기술시장에 제공하는 기술의 특성이 진부화된 특허, 기술공급자의 특허활동이 활발하지 않은 비핵심 기술영역의 특허, 청구항수와 발명자수가 많은 특허인 것을 보여준다. 이와 같은 결과는 온라인 기술시장이 기술공급 기업들이 내부적으로 사용하지 않는 기술의 활용을 가능하게 하는 역할을 하고 있음을 의미한다.

OVID온라인(OVID Online)은 의약학, 인문사회, 과학기술, 생명과학, 비즈니스 등 광범위한 분야에 걸친 정보를 서지문헌, 초록, 전문 등의 다양한 형태로 제공하는 데이터뱅크이다. 특히 의약학 전문 정보에 강하며, 비용면에서도 가장 싸고 검색이 비교적 쉬운 환경을 제공한다. 삼성SDS에서 ID와 패스워드를 부여받으면 된다.

2003년에 제작된 디지털콘텐츠 가운데 가장 뛰어난 작품에 수여되는 디지털콘텐츠 대상 대통령상에 그리곤엔터테인먼트의‘씰온라인(Seal Online)’이 수상작으로 결정됐다. 씰온라인은 풀 카툰렌더링 기법을 도입한 3D 온라인게임으로, 밝고 명랑한 분위기를 강조해 게이머들이 편안하게 게임을 즐길 수 있도록 하는데 초점을 맞춘 게임이다. 올해 처음으로 대통령상으로 격상된 DC대상을 수상한 그리곤엔터테인먼트의 조병규 사장을 만났다.

This paper presents a framework to generate human-like movements of a humanoid in real time using the movement primitive database of a human. The framework consists of two processes: 1) the offline motion imitation learning based on an Evolutionary Algorithm and 2) the online motion generation of a humanoid using the database updated bγ the motion imitation teaming. For the offline process, the initial database contains the kinetic characteristics of a human, since it is full of human's captured motions. The database then develops through the proposed framework of motion teaming based on an Evolutionary Algorithm, having the kinetic characteristics of a humanoid in aspect of minimal torque or joint jerk. The humanoid generates human-like movements far a given purpose in real time by linearly interpolating the primitive motions in the developed database. The movement of catching a ball was examined in simulation.

Background: Hearing loss is one of the most prevalent worker health conditions worldwide. Although the effect of noise exposure on hearing is well researched, other workplace exposures may account for significant hearing loss. The aim of this review was to determine whether occupational hand-arm vibration exposure through use of power or pneumatic tools, independent of noise exposure, is associated with permanent hearing loss. Do workers suffer from hand-arm vibratione-induced hearing loss? Methods: Peer-reviewed articles published in English between 1981 and 2020 were identified through five online databases with five search keywords. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses guidelines, including online database search methodology, study selection, article exclusion, and assessment of potential study design confounders and biases, were followed. Results: Database searches retrieved 697 articles. Fifteen articles that reported 17 studies met the criteria for review. All but two studies revealed statistically significant associations between occupational exposure to hand-arm vibration and hearing loss. The majority of the study results revealed associations between hand-arm vibration and hearing loss, independent of potential age and noise confounders. Conclusion: Few studies have examined the association between occupational exposure to hand-arm vibration and hearing loss. Dose response data were limited as only one study measured vibration intensity and duration. Although the majority of studies identified statistically significant associations, causal relationships could not be determined. Further research using standardized and uniform measurement protocols is needed to confirm whether the association between occupational exposure to hand-arm vibration and permanent hearing loss is causal and the mechanism(s).

1990년대에 들어오면서 도서관에 데이터베이스 온라인탐색 및 CD-ROM탐색이 보편화되고 이러한 뉴미디어들은 이용자의 편의성 면에서, 도서관 경영적인 측면에서, 또는 소장공간의 효율적인 측면에서 볼 때 기존의 책자형 자료보다 도입효과가 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 새로운 자료를 도입하거나, 시스템을 설계할 때 비용 대 효과를 객관적으로 평가하여야 하고, 구체적인 평가지침에 근거하여 일관성 있는 장서구성을 하여야 하므로 본 연구에서는 대외경제정책연구원 정보자료실을 모델로 하여 기존문헌, CD-ROM, 온라인탐색을 비교 평가하고자 한다.

This paper describes the development of robust contingency analysis program for Korean Energy Management System. The important function of contingency analysis is to determine the bus/branch model for contingency, and to calculate the state of the power network based on the network model and topology output. In the proposed method, the bus/branch models for contingencies are determined exactly using a fast linked-list method based on the application common model database. To calculate the state of the power system included contingency, the full-decoupled powerflow approach, the partial powerflow method for contingencies and the proposed contingency screening algorithm are also used to contingency analysis. To verify the performance of the developed processor, we performed a file-based test using several structured input data and online test using the database which resides on memory. The results of these comprehensive tests showed that the developed processors can accurately calculate the power system contingency state from online data and can be applied to Korea Power Exchange system.
