  • This paper proposes One Stage MSVQ/DP method for word recognition system university administration branch names are selected for the recognition experiment and 10 LPC cepstrum coefficients is used as the feature parameter. Besides the speech recognition experiments by proposed method, for comparision with it, we perform the experiments on the same data by Level Building DTW and One Stage DP method. The Recognition rates with the LBDTW and the One Stage method are $83.3\%$ and $87.5\%$, but the recognition rate with the proposed method is $91.6\%$.

  • This paper is a study on the recognition of continuous speech and uses a method of speech recognition using syntactic analysis and one-stage DMS/DP. In order to perform the speech recognition, first of all, we make DMS model by section division algorithm and let continuous speech data be recognized through One-stage DMS/DP method using syntactic analysis. Besides the speech recognition experiments of proposed method, we experiment the conventional one-stage DP method under the equivalent environment of data and conditions. From the recognition experiments, it is shown that Ole-stage DMS/DP using syntactic analysis is superior to conventional method.

  • This paper is a study on the recognition of continuous digits for the implementation of a voice dialing system, and proposes an method of speech recognition using syntactic analysis and One-Stage DP. In order to perform the speech recognition, first of all, we make DMS model by section division algorithm and let continuous digits data be recognized through the proposed One-Stage DP method using syntactic analysis. In this study, 7 continuous digits of 21 kinds which is pronounced by 8 male speakers two or three times, are used. The speaker dependent and speaker independent recognition are performed with the above data by way of the conventional One-Stage DP and the proposed One-Stage DP using syntactic analysis under the condition of laboratory environment. From the recognition experiments, it is shown that the proposed method was better than the established method. And, the recognition accuracy of speaker dependence and independence by the proposed One-Stage DP using syntactic analysis was about 91.7% and 89.7%.

  • In this paper, cycle performance analysis of R744($CO_2$) two-stage compression and one-stage expansion refrigeration system is presented to offer the basic design data for the operating parameters of the system. The operating parameters considered in this study include superheating degree, compressor efficiency, gas cooling pressure, mass flowrate ratio, outlet temperature of gas cooler and evaporating temperature in the carbon dioxide two-stage refrigeration cycle. The main results were summarized as follows : The cooling capacity of two-stage compression and one-stage expansion refrigeration system increases with the increasing superheating degree, compressor efficiency and gas cooling pressure, but decreases with the increasing mass flowrate ratio and evaporating temperature. The compression work of two-stage compression and one-stage expansion refrigeration system increases with the increasing superheating degree, outlet temperature of gas cooler, gas cooling pressure and evaporating temperature, but decreases with the increasing compressor efficiency and mass flowrate ratio. The COP of two-stage compression and one-stage expansion refrigeration system increases with the increasing compressor efficiency, but decreases with the increasing superheating degree, gas cooling pressure, mass flowrate ratio and evaporating temperature. Therefore, superheating degree, compressor efficiency, gas cooling pressure, mass flowrate ratio, outlet temperature of gas cooler and evaporating temperature of R744($CO_2$) two-stage compression and one-stage expansion refrigeration system have an effect on the cooling capacity, compressor work and COP of this system.

  • In this study, the two-stage electroflotation-rising process was investigated with the aim of improving the performance of the conventional one-stage electroflotation process. A total of 32 min (the electroflotation and rising times were 30 min and 2 min, respectively,) was required when a current of 0.35 A was applied in the one-stage electroflotation-rising experiment. The amount of electric power required to treat 1 ㎥ of water was 1.75 kWh/㎥. For the two- stage system, the time required to achieve a turbidity removal rate of over 95% was 16 min (50% of the one-stage system). The amount of electric power required to treat 1 ㎥ of water was 0.59 kWh/㎥, which was only 33.7% of that required for the one-stage process. The total treatment time and electric power were excellent in case of the two-stage system in comparison with those of the one-stage process. The rate of turbidity removal for the horizontal electrode arrangement is 9.3% higher than that of vertical electrode arrangement. When Na2SO4 was used as the electrolyte, the optimum electrolyte concentration was 1.0 g/L.

  • In design verification and process validation stages, reliability demonstration tests(RDT's) are common practice in industry, A new two-stage RDT that is known to be more efficient than a corresponding single-stage one in terms of expected test duration for Weibull distribution is proposed. Zero or one failure two-stage plans to minimize expected test duration under Type I and hybrid censoring subject to satisfying consumer's risk at a specified reliability target are developed and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the proposed two-stage RDT plans and compared with other one- and two-stage plans.

  • Gold prices are rising around the world in all major currencies. This is a telltale sign of a Stage Two gold bull where gold decouples from the US dollar. In this study, We analysed a confluence of factors seem to be feeding gold's gains and the typical shape of a secular gold bull---gold bulls' three stages. Stages one, two, and three of a secular gold bull are defined by the major changes. Each stage, considered in turn, makes perfect sense when described in terms of global investor demand. Since Stage One is currency-devaluation driven, the young gold bull is most noticeable in terms of the dominant eroding currency. Now after three or four years of stage one, Stage Two arrives. Stage Two marks a momentous event when gold decouples from the local-currency devaluation. In the case of our gold bull today, Stage Two will be here when gold starts consistently rising faster than the dollar is able to fall. After five or so years of Stage Two gains, gold has a chance at going ballistic in stage three. Stage Three is only ignited if the general public around the world starts growing enamored with gold investing. In summary, the first stage being when insiders and professionals invest in the market. The second stage is when the general public and financial media recognizes that the bull market is real. The third stage is the mania stage when people feel that not only is the bull market real, but it is a must own situation. Through the study we found that gold is entering it now.

  • Some surface defects make the weak quality of steel materials. To limit these defects, we advocate a one-stage detector model RetinaNet among diverse detection algorithms in deep learning. There are several backbones in the RetinaNet model. We acknowledged two backbones, which are ResNet50 and VGG19. To validate our model, we compared and analyzed several traditional models, one-stage models like YOLO and SSD models and two-stage models like Faster-RCNN, EDDN, and Xception models, with simulations based on steel individual classes. We also performed the correlation of the time factor between one-stage and two-stage models. Comparative analysis shows that the proposed model achieves excellent results on the dataset of the Northeastern University surface defect detection dataset. We would like to work on different backbones to check the efficiency of the model for real world, increasing the datasets through augmentation and focus on improving our limitation.

  • Biofiltration is a biological process which is considered to be one of the more successful examples of biotechnological applications to environmental engineering, and is most commonly used in the removal of odoriferous compounds. In this study, we have attempted to assess the efficiency with which both single and complex odoriferous compounds could be removed, using one- or two-stage biofiltration systems. The complex gas removal scheme was applied with a 200 ppm inlet concentration of ethanol, 70 ppm of acetaldehyde, and 70 ppm of toluene with EBCT for 45 seconds in a one- or two-stage biofiltration system. The removal yield of toluene was determined to be lower than that of the other gases in the one-stage biofilter. Otherwise, the complex gases were sufficiently eliminated by the two-stage biofiltration system.
