The purpose of this study is to evaluate the reliability of repeated measurements of several dental scanners. Blue-lighted scanners, white-light scanners and optical-type scanners are used in the study of repeatability in this study. The measurement results were calculated as root mean square (RMS) and the significance level was confirmed by applying the 1-way ANOVA statistical technique (𝛼=.05). According to the statistical analysis, the scanner with the largest RMS value was Z-opt group (38.2 ㎛. Next, D-white was 35.2 ㎛ and the group with the lowest RMS value was I-blue (34.1 ㎛). The comparison of RMS means between each group was not significant (p>.05). From this result, the blue light had the lowest error in repeatability of dental scanners, but no statistical significance. The conclusion of this study is that the study results are clinically acceptable.

This study was to evaluate the effect of different rinsing times and methods on the accuracy of temporary prostheses fabricated by 3D printing method. Sixty temporary prostheses were fabricated with LCD types of 3D printer(Halot-Sky, Creality, Shenzhen, China) and divided into six groups (n = 10) based on rinsing times and methods. All specimens were rinsed with 99% isopropanol alcohol for 5 and 10 min using three methods-hand washed, ultrasonic cleaning, and automated washing. All specimens were polymerized for 3 minutes under the same conditions. The marginal and internal gaps of specimens were examined using a replica technique. The light-body silicone thickness was measured at 6 reference points(Absolute marginal discrepancy, Marginal, Chamfer, Axial, Angle, and Occlusal gap). All measurements were performed by a stereomicroscope. Reference point images were taken at 100× magnification and then measured using an image analysis program. Statistical analysis was performed using Two-way ANOVA, One-way ANOVA, and the Kruskal-Wallis test (p = .05). The marginal and internal gaps were statistically different according to the rinsing methods and rinsing times(p < .001). In the rinsing time, the temporary prosthesis rinsed for 5 minutes group showed higher accuracy than 10 minutes group. In the rinsing method, the hand washing group showed higher accuracy than the automated washing group.

A high speed NMR quality evaluation sensor was designed , constructed and tested . The device consists of an NMR spectrometer coupled to a conveyor system. The conveyor was run at speeds ranging from 0 to 250 mm/s. Spectral of avocado fruits and one-dimensional magnetic resonance images of pickled olives were acquired while the samples were moving on a conveyor belt mounted through a 20Tesla NMR magnet with a 20 mm diameter surface coil and a 150 mm diameter imaging coil respectively. Fro a magnetic resonance spectrum analysis, motion through variations in the magnetic field tends to narrow spectral line width just like using sample rotation in high resolution NMR to narrow spectral line width. Spectrum analysis was used to detect the dry weight of avocado fruits using the ratio oil and water resonance peaks. Good correlations maximum r=0.970@ 50 mm/s and minimum r=0.894@250mm/s ) between oil and water resonance peak ratio and dry weight of avocados were observed at speeds ra ging from0 to 250mm/s. For the application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method, the projections were used to distinguish between pitted and non-pitted olives . Effect of fruit position in the coil was tested and coil degree effects were noticed when projects were generated under dynamic conditions. Various belt speeds (up to 250mm/s) were tested and detection results were compared to static measurements. Higher classification errors were occurred at dynamic conditions compared to errors while olives were at rest.
Purpose: The goal of this study was to determine the clinical acceptability of various cement space settings for the marginal and internal fit of a zirconia core manufactured using additive manufacturing. Methods: The maxillary right incisor served as the master model. After scanning the maxillary right incisor with a dental 3D (three-dimensional) scanner, the stereo lithography file was created using different cement space settings of 40, 120, and 200 ㎛ using computer-aided design software (Dental System 2018; 3Shape). The marginal and internal fit of the 3 groups were determined using the silicon replica technique. Measurement points were divided into the following three categories: margin, axial wall, and incisal. To ensure more accurate measurements, these three measurement points were divided into 8 points. The Shapiro-Wilk, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey's honestly significant difference test (for all tests α=0.05) were the statistical analyses that were included in the study. Results: The CS (cement space)-200 group had better marginal and internal fit than the CS-40 and CS-120 groups, and there were statistically significant differences at the marginal and incisal points, except for the axial wall points. CS-200 group, both marginal and internal fit were within 120 ㎛, which is the clinically acceptable value. Conclusion: This study suggests that a 200 ㎛ cement space setting is ideal for optimal marginal and internal fit of 3D-printed ceramic crowns.
According to the design method for constructing the Korean Men's Jo-go-ri(the traditional Korean jacket)collar, there are differences in form after its completion. In the construction design of the midsection of the gusset as in that of the basic pattern Jo-go-ri, not only was the positioning of the two sides of the collar not smooth, but also, when the collar strip(Dongjung) was attached, there would be an imbalance on one side or the other so that it was difficult to achieve symmetry. Therefore in this project, by applying the pattern design of the gusset midsection to that of the collar midsection, not only did attaching the collar(Kit) and the collar strip create a visual effect by equalizing the lengths of the two sides, but the construction was also easy. This method of construction introduces the three-dimensional aspect of the human form in its conic, spherical and cylindrical aspects, so that, through schematizing the scientific character of Korea's clothing, its appropriateness is verified. As a matter of fact, since there is no standardization of pattern whether for educational use or for mass-produced clothing, so that even the patterns used in computer-assisted design are executed according to the designer's personal skill, the reality is that after completion of construction the quality has not been uniform. For this schematization, inverse calculation of measurements pertaining to the calculation formula and of teaching materials has been referenced. In particular, the partial regulation of the calculation formula pertaining to the basic pattern construction, the method of making the collar midsection, and the construction method of the extreme and mean ratio adjustment, can be adjusted for all measurements, thereby providing the establishment of a design criterion and the possibility of the standardization of construction methods. The production method for the basic pattern design is as follows: 1) The conic angle for the Jo-go-ri's girth, length end neck width is fixed at 70(72) degree. 2) The radius of the cone is sleeve length. 3) The bust girth calculation formula is B/4 + 2.5 cm. 4) The armhole formula is B/4 + 2.5cm. 5) The neck width formula is B/10. 6) The ratio of the collar junction{width of collar(Kit) + width of collar strip(Dongjung) to the gusset length is 5:8. 7) The length of the side seam is a length intersecting the armhole line and the conic radius of sleeve length, that is an arc that exceeds the length of the Jo-go-ri's midsection.

All pixels of image sensor do not react uniformly even if the light of same radiance enters into the camera. This non-uniformity comes from the sensor pixel non-uniformity and non-uniformity induced by the changing transmission of the telescope over the field. The first contribution to the non-uniformity has high spatial frequency nature and has an influence on the result and quality of the data compression. The second source of non-uniformity has low frequency nature and has no influence of the compression result. As the contribution resulting from the sensor PRNU(Photo Response Non-Uniformity) is corrected inside the camera electronics, the effect of the remaining non-uniformity to the compression result will be negligible. The non-uniformity correction result shall have big difference according to the sensor modeling and the calculation method to get correction coefficient. Usually, the sensor can be modeled with one dimensional coefficients which are a gain and a offset for each pixel. Only two measurements are necessary theoretically to get coefficients. However, these are not the optimized value over the whole illumination level. This paper proposes the algorithm to calculate the optimized non-uniformity correction coefficients over whole illumination radiance. The proposed algorithm uses several measurements and the least square method to get the optimum coefficients. The proposed algorithm is verified using the own camera electronics including sensor, electrical test equipment and optical test equipment such as the integrating sphere.
According to the design method for constructing the G gori(the traditional Korean jacket)collar, there are differences in form after its completion. In the construction design of the midsection of the gusset as in that of the basic G gori, not only was the positioning of the two sides of the collar not smooth, but also, when the collar strip was attached, there would be an imbalance on one side or the other so that it was difficult to achieve symetry. Therefore in this project, by applying the pattern design of the gusset midsection to that of the collar midsection, not only did attaching the collar and the collar strip create a visual effect by equalizing the lengths of the tow sides, but the construction was also easy. This method of construction introduces the three-dimensional aspect of the human form in its conic, spherical and cylindrical aspects, so that, through schematizing the scientific character of Korea's clothing, its appropriateness is verified. As a matter of fact, since th-ere in no standardization of pattern whether for educational use or for mass-produced clothing, so that even the patterns used in computer-assisted design are executed according to the designer's personal skill, the reality is that after completion of construction the quality has not been uniform. For this schematization, inverse calculation of measurements pertaining to the calculation formula and of teaching materials has been referenced. The production method for the pattern design is as follows: 1) The conic angle for the G gori's girth, length and neck width is fixed at 70 degrees. 2) The radius of the cone is B/2. 3) The calculation formula is B/4 + 1.5cm 4) The armhole formula is B/4, the same as in the basic method. 5) The width formula is B/10. 6) The ratio of the collar junction(width of collar + width of collar strip)to the gusset length is 5:8. 7) The length of the side seam is a length intersecting the armhole line and the conic radius (B/2), that is an arc that exceeds the length of the G gori's midsection; the component ratio of this length to the collar junction is accordingly 13:5. 8) The curve frame length of the back midsection is an arc exceeding B/4(the armhole line). 9) The ratio of the sleeve opening calculation formula to the armhole length is 8:5, forming an arc with the midsection length.

Three-dimensional body data has been used in many industry fields including the apparel industry. This research used data from a study of the changes in lower body girth measurements from a 3D scan study of 25 female subjects aged 18 to 24 in four postures; a standing posture, a $120^{\circ}$ knee bend posture, a one pace stepping posture, and a sitting posture with a $90^{\circ}$ knee bend. We used the information on the difference between standing and seated measurements to adjust ease values for pants patterns an evaluation of the appearance, and the comfort of the pants. Waist girth in the sitting posture increased 8% compared to a standing posture and the hip girth measurement increased 7%. A basic pants pattern (pants A) with 2.4cm ease at the waist and 2.6cm ease at the hip was developed and a pants pattern (pants B) was developed using the rates of lower body girth change with a 5.7cm ease (8% change) at the waist and 7cm ease (7% change) at the hip. The appearance assessment items of pants A in a standing posture were higher than pants B. On the other hand, most appearance assessment items of pants B in a sitting posture were higher than pants A, especially the ease of pants back waistline and the appearance of the whole back. Comfort assessment items of pants B in both standing and sitting postures were higher than the comfort assessment items for pants A, especially the location of pants waistline, the ease of pants at the waistline, and the ease at the abdomen. In order to find the best level of ease for better appearance and comfort in both standing and sitting postures, 20 pants were constructed with ease values at the waist and hip in increments of 1.1cm in the range between the ease values of pants A and pants B. A fit test was conducted to compare the average appearance and comfort ratings that identified the pants with the best ease values at the waist and hip. The highest total mean was achieved in the pants with a waist ease of 4.6cm and hip ease of 4.8cm.

The intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) with a multileaf collimator (MLC) requires the conversion of a radiation fluence map into a leaf sequence file that controls the movement of the MLC during radiation treatment of patients. Patient dose verification is clinically one of the most important parts in the treatment delivery of the radiation therapy. The three dimensional (3D) reconstruction of dose distribution delivered to the target helps to verify patient dose and to determine the physical characteristics of beams used in IMRT. A new method is presented for the pretreatment dosimetric verification of two dimensional distributions of photon intensity by means of Beam Intensity Scanner System (BISS) as a radiation detector with a custom-made software for dose calculation of fluorescence signals from scintillator. The scintillator is used to produce fluorescence from the irradiation of 6MV photons on a Varian Clinac 21EX. The BISS reproduces 3D- relative dose distribution from the digitized fluoroscopic signals obtained by digital video camera-based scintillator(DVCS) device in the IMRT. For the intensity modulated beams (IMBs), the calculations of absorbed dose are performed in absolute beam fluence profiles which are used for calculation of the patient dose distribution. The 3D-dose profiles of the IMBs with the BISS were demonstrated by relative measurements of photon beams and shown good agreement with radiographic film. The mechanical and dosimetric properties of the collimating of dynamic and/or step MLC system alter the generated intensity. This is mostly due to leaf transmission, leaf penumbra and geometry of leaves. The variations of output according to the multileaf opening during the irradiation need to be accounted for as well. These phenomena result in a fluence distribution that can be substantially different from the initial and calculative intensity modulation and therefore, should be taken into account by the treatment planning for accurate dose calculations delivered to the target volume in IMRT.

When a heavy rain brings flooding, a high turbid water is flowing into a reservoir. In this study, the effectiveness of the intake structures for the selective withdrawal from the various levels of a stratified reservoir was evaluated by the field experiments and the numerical modeling of the three-dimensional approaching flows. The temperature, the turbidity, and the velocity fields for the selective withdrawal were measured using both YSI6600EDS and YSI6600ADV, respectively. A threedimensional model, FLOW-3D, was used to predict the performance of the intake tower in Imha reservoir. The comparisons of the vertical velocity field showed a good agreement with the field measurements. The efficiency of the turbid-water elimination of the selective withdrawal method from low levels was higher up to 46% than that of the surface withdrawal. From the analysis of the numerical simulation, the efficiency of turbidity elimination increased by 10% for the selective withdrawal from middle levels, and by 30% from low levels. These results showed that the selective withdrawals from middle and low levels are more effective than the surface-water intake. The similar results were obtained by the one-dimensional model, SELECT, which is much more computationally time-efficient.
