주요 ICT 산업분야별 소프트웨어 테스팅 수요에 관한 연구 -경남지역을 중심으로- (Study on the Software Testing Demands by Major ICT Industrial Fields -Around GyeongNam Region's-)

  • Major industries in Gyeongnam area include robot and automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, and aviation. According to the research, the mechanical part of the products has been advanced, but awareness over the improvement of quality of the software still lacks. The quality performance test presently conducted by the companies in Gyeongnam is mostly the manual performance test performed by the program manager. In order to systematize this and extend the range of using software testing tools, the current study intends to suggest the necessity for conducting a survey on demand to improve performance and securing testing tools such as measured data analysis. Accordingly, this study is going to investigate 33 companies in Gyeongnam related with software in each of the major business areas centering around the actual field and examine activities related to software quality. And after figuring out the current status of retaining testing tools, the study will suggest the ways to enhance recognition over software quality and propose ultimate solutions to solve the problems on the current stage by finding out how to share information as much as possible in order to lay the foundation for extending the range of activity for the sake of software quality.

Reliability Models for Application Software in Maintenance Phase

  • With growing demand for zero defects, predicting reliability of software systems is gaining importance. Software reliability models are used to estimate the reliability or the number of latent defects in a software product. Most reliability models to estimate the reliability of software in the literature are based on the development lifecycle stages. However, in the maintenance phase, the software needs to be corrected for errors and to be enhanced for the requests from users. These decrease the reliability of software. Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs) have been applied successfully to model software reliability in development phase. The software reliability in maintenance phase exhibits many types of systematic or irregular behaviors. These may include cyclic behavior as well as long-term evolutionary trends. The cyclic behavior may involve multiple periodicities and may be asymmetric in nature. In this paper, SGRM has been adapted to develop a reliability prediction model for the software in maintenance phase. The model is established using maintenance data from a commercial shop floor control system. The model is accepted to be used for resource planning and assuring the quality of the maintenance work to the user.

주차장 입·출차 데이터 기반 종합병원 주차특성 및 주차수요 분석-A병원 사례를 중심으로 (Analysis on parking characteristics & demand of general hospitals based on parking data-A hospital case)

  • 종합병원의 주차문제는 내원객이나 방문객들의 불편함이나 민원을 넘어 병원인근지역의 교통문제 및 환경문제를 발생시키는 사회문제가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 A종합병원(A병원)의 사례를 중심으로 주차장 입·출차 데이터를 이용하여 주차특성지수를 더욱 정확하게 분석할 수 있는 모델을 제안하고 이를 이용하여 주요지표들을 분석한다. 병원의 특성을 고려하여 새로운 주차지표를 정의하고 분석하였으며 주차수요를 추정할 수 있는 모델을 제안하고 이를 이용하여 분석한다. 본 연구결과를 이용하여 물리적인 주차장시설의 확장보다는 주차데이터에 기반한 체계적이고 유연한 주차장 관리를 통해서 내원객과 방문객들에게 더욱 편리한 주차서비스를 제공할 수 있고 데이터 기반의 주차정책과 규정을 수립하여 병원주차장 운영의 효율성을 향상할 수 있으며 A병원과 규모가 비슷한 병원의 주차정책과 주차수요 산출과 향후 스마트 주차시스템 개발에도 주요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

기업가 특성이 소프트웨어 혁신성 및 기업성과에 미치는 영향과 제도적 압력의 조절효과 (Effects of Entrepreneur Characteristics and Software Innovativeness on Performance of Software Company: The Moderating Effects of Institutional Pressure)

  • This study shows that a sustainable competitive advantage and entrepreneurial characteristics are necessary for a software company to achieve competitive innovation and growth. This study investigates various software company characteristics and the effects of various company factors as its main research objectives. The data used in this research model were collected from software companies in South Korea. A total of 211 questionnaires were collected over a period of two months in 2013. EXCEL, AMOS, and SPSS were used to derive the study results. The hypothesis testing results of this study are as follows. First, a software company's entrepreneurial innovativeness and risk-taking behaviors have a positive influence on software innovativeness. A greater sense of innovativeness and entrepreneurial orientation leads to a higher propensity to take risks in software development. Second, the characteristics of software innovativeness, and flexibility have a significant influence on software company performance. Innovation during the initial periods of software usage can create a high demand for improvements and new features, requiring a flexible software design. Finally, this study analyzes the software features of entrepreneurial characteristics and the influence of institutional factors on the characteristics of individual innovativeness and software development. Entrepreneurial characteristics can affect governmental or institutional support, policies, and legal frameworks to promote the role of software innovativeness. The results of this study imply that software companies can adopt an entrepreneurial approach to promote technology development and product development for achieving a competitive advantage in the industry. This study also analyzes the environmental factors that affect the software industry and their implications for policy makers.

공해물질분석에 관한 수질오탁의 상관성 계산 위한 SOFTWARE 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Software development for the correlation of the water pollution of pollution material analysis)

  • There are BOD(Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and COD(Chemical Oxygen Demand) in the date of the water pollution in the pollution analysis, BOD and COD analysis the result of the analysis. The computer developed the program in the analysis. Went by BOD, the relation conversion equation type of COD, the control chart, the standard deviation, and the coefficient of correlation etc.. for the purpose of the development of the program. There is a purpose by which it is what coefficient of correlation in the development of this program or not if the value (X and Y) of unknow is understood. In the future, if this program is applied the utilization to not only the data is analyzed about the water pollution but also a lot of fields is proposed.

  • The importance of software industry is rapidly increasing with the growth of Internet and the advent of digital economy. The purpose of this study is to research the impact of the copyright protection for securing producers and enhancing of producing on social welfare. The Korean government reformed the copyright law to enhance the copyright protection in 2000 and intensely controlled software piracy in 2001. However, copyright protection has much controversy in aspects of hindering social use of software. This study compared and analyzed the general equilibrium and the copyright protection for social welfare maximization in two cases when network externality exists or not, by assuming the simple demand and supply functions.

마이크로그리드를 기반으로 한 중소 산업용수용가의 최대수요전력 저감방안 (The Maximum Demand Power Reduction of Small Industrial Factory based on Microgrid)

  • Recently, the power consumption of industrial consumer has increased rapidly, causing problems such as lack of power reserve margin in summer and winter, and therefore there is a growing need for maximum demand power management to consumers. In this paper, we studied small microgrid system consisting of battery ESS and photovoltaic power system, applied to small and medium sized factories to reduce the maximum demand power of daily industrial power load. To verify the validity of the study, we simulated a small microgrid system using Matlab/Simulink software. As a result of applying the simulation to small and medium sized plants that consume a lot of power, it is confirmed that there is a 13% reduction in demand compared to the existing maximum demand power. This result is expected to contribute to the improvement of the power reserve margin.

국내 소프트웨어 산업 구조의 개선에 대한 제안 : IT서비스 및 솔루션 기업을 중심으로 (An Suggestion of the Software Industry Structure Improvement in Korea : Focusing on the IT Service and Solution Provider Firms)

  • This paper was tried to show the improvement model for software industry structure in Korea regarding to have the global level of competence in Korean software firms. To suggest the improvement model for software industry structure, the detailed status about software industry which as in the supply and demand perspectives and comparativeness dimension were analysed. Also to this model the special survey results from the 35 professionalists in the software industry were included. This improvement model suggests the big software firms have to consider the economy of the scale, and to enter global IT market, the other SMEs have to pursuit themselves as a specified technology firms. So it is good for the oversea project collaboration with the solution provider firms and IT service firms. And it is desirable to make a the economy of scale regarding as the solution venture startup, M&A, networking the software firms as supply chain. Also the development of new business model for new market and firms with the high-tech business competency will be required.

  • The objective of this research is to construct and build a software platform to enable collaboration among enterprise headquarters, product designers, software engineers, manufacturing plants, and suppliers which are locate at different remote locations via internet. In specific, agent technology is adopted as a software vehicle to automate demand and supply process in the internet environment. Agents are programs that act on behalf of their human users to perform laborious tasks such as information locating, accessing, filtering, integrating, adapting and resolving inconsistencies. Global competion is forcing the present day industry to produce high quality product more fast and inexpensively. In Korea, most labor-intensive industries have moved to China and other Asian countries for cost reduction. The need for fast information exchange has increased among the remote locations for the cooperation and coordination. In this research, a virtual global purchasing and ordering system will be constructured that distributes production schedule among remote places, acts as a bridge between the headquarters and manufacturing plants, distributes tasks and collates different solutions between demand and supply using agent. The external communication protocol takes HTML format, internal message handling requires SGML for document exchange, and KQML for agent implementation. The expected benefits will be : reduced cost of real-time information exchange, realization of global manufacturing environment, the maximum utilization of internet for the enterprise data exchange.

User context conjecture system using location and schedule information

  • In recent years, with the spread of communication media, such as a cellular phone and E-mail, we are able to communicate with others without any restriction of position or time. However, complexity of communicative context has increased so that user has to guess a partner user's situation and status in order to use various medias efficiently. This problem will grow larger as new media are brought in the expanding communications network. To solve this problem, we propose the system that guesses the context in communication by a user's media from the position information on PHS (Personal Handy phone System) and schedule information from schedule application. In this system a user's agent guesses automatically the context that owner has set, and answers the demand of the context from a partner user. Moreover, the agent decides a suitable answer, when there is a demand of communication by the media, which cannot be used.
