  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to pursue an efficient operating plan by surveying the cognition and demand level for major deepening course. Methods : Questionnaire survey was carried out targeting 135 dental hygienists who work in Cheonan and neighboring region. The collected data was performed frequency & percentage, T-test and ANOVA analysis. Results : 1. As for dental hygienists' acquiring academic degree, 77.0% of them responded to have interest. As for a desired route of acquiring academic degree, the major deepening course or Credit Bank System was the highest with 62.2%. 2. As a result of surveying cognition on major deepening course, 73.3% responded to know. A route of having come to know was the largest in senior or friend with 34.8%. Necessity of major deepening course was responded to be necessary with 89.7%. 89.1% of them clarified to have intention of acquiring. 3. The curricular subject, which is desired to be learnt for a plan of operating major deepening course, was the highest in the major field with 63.0%. 4. As a result of comparing an interest, necessity, and intention of acquisition on major deepening course depending on general characteristics, the statistically significant difference wasn't shown. Conclusions : These results suggest that major deepening of course through active public should be aware that many dental hygienists will be subject to a variety of programs and development of clinical course and a practical hands-on education is expected to be strengthened.

  • This paper is a study of a linear algebra course taught in a high school on-demand course. Compared to the regular course, flipped learning was added to the course, and applications to signal processing related problems were covered in consideration of students' career aspirations. Overall, the class was a mixture of traditional lectures and flipped learning. Flipped learning was implemented twice. The flipped class consisted of pre-class, in-class and post-class. To verify the effectiveness of the course, a survey was conducted and most of the evaluation items were above 4. The topics of the flipped learning were Markov chains and least squares problem, which are very important in the field of signal processing.

  • This study has the purpose to increase the suitability for the introduction and operation of the curriculum utilizing business simulation games from university education. So we investigated about the usage in management education department of domestic and foreign universities, institutions target for enterprise level education, and giant companies such as Samsung and LG. We surveyed about the demand of it from college students at the management and engineering departments and then designed two basic course models. As research methods, literature research, on-site experts and operators interview on domestic enterprises and institutions of representative companies was conducted. We analysed the course syllabi of some domestic and about 50 foreign universities utilizing it with the literature review. Then we analysed the result of usage investigation and demand survey. According to the results, the relatively small number of universities and corporate institutions compared to U.S. were utilizing it for their training courses in short-term and partial Lab. Results are expected to be used in the training courses of business administration in universities and corporate.

  • Purpose: This study aims to provide basic data for developing and improving a nationwide curriculum for advanced courses in dental technology departments. Methods: For the study, the 2021 academic curricula for all six universities with operating departments for advanced study of dental technology were investigated from November 18 to December 10, 2021. If a curriculum was not available for analysis on the university's website, it was obtained via e-mail or phone and then analyzed. Results: The curricula offered advanced courses in a range of 7~14 subjects, with an average of 9.7 subjects. The total number of credits ranged 20~33, and the average for all universities was 25.2. Among the total subjects opened, digital-related subjects comprised the largest proportion at 26.2%, followed by other major-related subjects (e.g., dental techniques, occlusion, and implants) and other liberal arts subjects. Conclusion: The study revealed that the curricula for bachelor's-level dental technology course at universities adequately reflect the industry demand. In the future, university leaders must maintain ongoing collaboration and consultation with industry experts with regard to school curricula for analyzing the education demand and industry prospects, including careers.

  • Cooling demand in Korea has increased constantly. Furthermore, an evaluation and savings of cooling demand has impacted on summer DSM and investment in Korea. Absorbed cooling system uses gas. It could achieve reductions in summer peak load and increase gas demand simultaneously. However its efficiency rate is lower than electric system. Gas cooling system uses separate meter. Therefore we could analyze monthly cooling demand and derive annual uses pattern. This paper analyzes demand pattern of gas cooling and its effects on electricity savings. Also this paper presents the course of policy in electricity sector on spreading of gas cooling measures.

  • This study is performed the multinomial logistic regression with the officials needs level about a component of knowledge administration for drawing a demand estimation model in the knowledge administration activities. This study is not that an activity and domain of knowledge administration is to apply and to operate uniformly it in public sector, one is suggested an application with a demand diagnose of knowledge administration in order to saw a course of the knowledge administration programs to suit a function and role of public administration. A result of this study is that an activity and domain of the knowledge administration is different from a component of it namely, knowledge creating, knowledge organizing, knowledge sharing and distribution, knowledge utility, and knowledge store. And the officials individual characteristics, administration agency, a kind of business, and a function and role of work are different from demand of knowledge administration. Also, the practical use of KMS (knowledge management system) is not so high in public sector. • This study aims to develop a curriculum for nurturing experts who perform agricultural safety and health management tasks. This study was conducted in three stages. First, job definitions and job models of agricultural safety and health managers were derived through job analysis using the DACUM technique. Second, job demand analysis was conducted by conducting a survey on the difficulty, importance, and frequency of each task. Third, IPA analysis was performed as the first priority tasks of job demand analysis to present the courses and subjects of the training course for safety and health managers in agricultural work. The job of the agricultural safety and health manager was defined as "to conduct guidance and advice on safety and health education, risk factors, and evaluation and management of harmful factors to protect farmers' professional health and safety." The job model consisted of 4 tasks, 31 core tasks, and 67 detailed tasks. As a result of job demand analysis, there were 39 tasks in the 1st priority, 22 in the 2nd priority, and 6 in the 3rd priority. As a result of the IPA analysis, there were 13 'capacity development focused areas', 4 'capacity development effort areas', 11 'low priority areas', and 3 'continuous maintenance areas'.

  • Recently, it is entering the hyper connectivity age due to the development of sensor and communication technology. In particular, it is emerging new industries such as the IoT, bigdata, cloud by convergence with the ICT and other industries. Because these industries are high the gravity of the software, the demand for software manpower is increasing rapidly. But university curriculum don't deviate from the traditional curriculum, and lack of positive response to these changes is occurring a mismatch with the industry demand. In this paper, investigate a software curriculums of the four-year university, and will attempt to investigate the perception about the university software course of the corporate perspective. Also, we draw a on-site fitness of universities training course by analysis of importance on software training courses between universities and businesses. Finally, we propose a strategy model for software training course design appropriate for the field.

  • The goal of this study is to improve the competitiveness of professional librarians in society. To this end, we analyzed domestic and international LIS curriculum, determined demand from field librarians through a survey, carried out job analysis by library types, and developed an operating model for LIS curriculum by synthesizing all of these results. Finally, we suggested a course of study for civil service librarians based on this model. As a result, the six required courses for civil service librarians are: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Organization, Information Services (Reference and Information Services), Library Management, Information Retrieval, and Field Work. The four core courses for the civil service concentration are: Collection Development, Information Sources by Subjects, Public Library Management, and Digital Libraries. Suggested electives best suited to this career path include Using Web Resources, Information Literacy, Information Services in Culturally Diverse Communities, Library Marketing, Libraries and Cultural Programs, Reading Guidance, Library History, Small Library Management, Studies in Library Buildings, Library Cooperation, Managing Digital Collections, and Information and Communication in a Digital Age.
