공적분·벡터오차수정모형을 활용한 벙커유 가격의 장기균형 수렴에 관한 실증분석 (An Empirical Analysis on the Long-term Balance of Bunker Oil Prices Using the Co-integration Model and Vector Error Correction Model)

  • This study performs a factor analysis that affects the bunker oil price using the Co-integration model and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). For this purpose, we use data from Clarkson and the analysis results show 17.6% decrease in bunker oil price when the amount of crude oil production increases at 1.0%, 10.3% increase in bunker oil price when the seaborne trade volume increases at 1.0%, 1.0% decrease in bunker oil price when total volume of vessels increases at 1.0%, and 0.003% increase in bunker oil price when 1.0% increase in world GDP, respectively. This study is meaningful in that this study estimates the speed of convergence to long-term equilibrium and identifies the price adjust mechanism which naturally exists in bunker oil market. And it is expected that the future study can provide statistically more meaningful econometric results if it can obtain data during more long-periods and use more various kinds of explanatory variables.

액막법을 이용한 IGF-I 회수 (Recovery of IGF-I Using Liquid Emulsion Membranes)

  • A study was made to investigate the effects of concerning factors with IGF-I recovery on the final IGF-I concentration in the effluent and to establish recovery conditions of IGF-I using liquid emulsion membranes(LEM). D2EHPA was best carrier among Amberlite LA2, Aliquit 336 and D2EHPA for recovery rate of IGF-I. Recovery rate of IGF-I by D2EHPA volume in the oil phase was increased as increasing D2EHPA volume, and optimal volume of D2EHPA was 5% in this experiment. The recovery rate of IGF-I by D2EHPA was increased by the decreasing from pH 7 to pH 4 of external phase. Therefore, optimal pH value was 4.0. Optimal concentrations of sulfuric acid in internal phase, paraffin oil in oil phase and Span 80 for recovery rate of IGF-I were 0.1M, 2.0% and 5%, respectively, and optimal W/O rate was 2. These results suggested that optimal conditions for recovery of IGF-I were D2EHPA(5%) as carrier, pH 4.0, 0.1M sulfuric acid, 2% paraffin oil, 2.0 W/O rate and 5.0% Span 80.

  • As a previous research, improved durability of concrete by filling capillary pores with waste cooking oil was suggested as a method of controlling carbonation of the concrete replaced high volume of SCMs. on the other hand, the emulsified refined waste cooking oil for better mixing performance had a drawback of reducing air content related with decreasing freeze-thawing resistance. As a solution of this problem, surface applying method was suggested instead of adding in mixing process, and in this research, the performance regarding concrete durability are evaluated comparing emulsified refined cooking oil with water-repelling agent.

  • This work examines the effects of swelling MI type HVDC cable oil on the semiconductive silicone rubber and silicone rubber as used in accessories for application on outdoor termination (EBA) slip on sleeve. The behavior of volume resistivity is monitored as a function of the amount of cable oil diffused into the material. Resistivities of semiconductive silicone samples up to the typical insulator range (${\sim}10^{10}{\Omega}-cm$) are observed as a consequence of swelling due to the presence of the diffused oil. The measured volume resistivities of the oil-impregnated semiconductive silicone rubber are compared to desired value as function of stress relief cone.

오일-질소가스 혼합유체를 이용한 고온 오일플러싱 시스템 공정설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Process Design of Hot Oil Flushing System Using Oil-Nitrogen Gas Mixing Fluid)

  • 본 연구에서는 해양플랜트설비 건조 현장에서 사용되고 있는 기존 고온 오일 플러싱 장비에 대한 성능개선을 위해 기존의 플러싱 장치에 사용되던 오일에 질소가스를 혼합한 고온 오일 플러싱 시스템에 대하여 국제표준화기구 코드(ISO code)를 기준으로 이론적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구를 위해 오일-질소가스 혼합유체 플러싱 시스템 공정을 설계 후 청정성능에 영향을 주는 혼합유체의 혼합비율, 온도, 레이놀즈수 및 액상분율 등에 대한 공정모사 결과도 분석하였다. 그 결과 관 직경과 가스상의 체적분률이 일정한 상태에서 혼합유체의 체적유량이 증가될수록 수평 유압배관 입출구의 액상분율 차이 ${\Delta}{\alpha}_L$ 값은 증가하게 되고 배관길이 방향의 위치에 따라 오일과 질소가스 기포 사이의 상분포가 달라짐을 확인했다. 이러한 상분포의 변화는 오일-질소가스 혼합유체 플러싱 시스템의 청정성능에도 커다란 영향을 줄 것으로 예상된다.

  • It is the effective method to diagnosis damage process of gear system such as automobile transmission to observe wear particle in gear oil. We tested with new transmission and took out gear oil according to drive distance. 4 shape parameters of wear particles in gear oil were calculated and wear volume were presumed with the image processing system. To be applied to damage diagnosis of gear system in transmission of automobile, we discuss number of wear particles, shape characteristics and total wear volume according to driving distance.

고온 엔진오일용 내열성 발포부표 제조 기술 (Preparation Technique of Thermostable Foam-Floater for High Temperature Engine Oil)

  • 일반 휘발유 및 LPG용 자동차와 각종 유량계기 등에 사용되는 국산 부표는 $150^{\circ}C$ 이상의 엔진오일에 장시간 띄워 놓으면 연료의 침투로 인하여 중량과 부피의 변화로 외관이 팽창하거나 조직이 이완된다. 본 연구에서는 고온에서도 중량 및 부피의 변화(3% 이내)가 적으며 내유성 및 내열성을 갖는 고온 엔진 오일용 발포부표 제조에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 부표의 기본 재료인 NBR을 HNBR로 대체하여 제조한 TROF II-3은 고온($150^{\circ}C$)의 오일에 100 h 동안 띄워 놓은 경우에 2.90%의 중량 변화율과 2.56%의 부피 변화율을 나타내었다. 또한, 무게와 부피 변화는 NBR을 사용한 경우(TROF I-3)보다 $150^{\circ}C$에서 각각 10.81%, 3.08%로 더 작은 변화율을 나타내었다. TROF II-3은 고온의 오일에서 중량과 부피에 대한 변화가 작고 제품의 외관과 비중도 일정하게 유지되므로 고온의 엔진오일용 부표로서 적합한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 본 연구에서는 Rhodococcus sp. strain IGTS8을 이용한 미생물 탈황공정에 있어서 비이온 계면활성제인 SPAN의 영향을 조사하였다. 탈황 효율 연구에 있어서 모델 오일로는 DBT가 함유된 hexadecane, 수상으로는 배지 용액을 이용하였다. 연구에 있어서 실험 변수로는 오일/물 혼합물에 있어서 오일의 부피 %, SPAN 20의 농도, 용액의 pH로 하였으며 일반적으로 오일의 부피 비율, 계면활성제의 농도가 증가할 수록 탈황 효율이 감소되었다. 이러한 결과는 오일의 부피비가 증가할수록 계면활성제의 농도가 증가할수록 오일상의 OBT와 균주의 효율적인 접촉이 저해되기 때문으로 고려된다.

  • Two kinds of alumina nanofluids are prepared by dispersing $Al_2O_3$ nanoparticles m transformer oil. The thermal conductivity of the nanoparticle-oil mixtures increases with particle volume fraction and thermal conductivity of the solid particle itself. The $Al_2O_3$ nanoparticles at a volume of 0.5% can increase the thermal conductivity of the transformer oil by 5.7%, and the overall heat transfer coefficient by 20%. From the natural convection test using a prototype transformer, the cooling effect of $Al_2O_3$-oil nanofluids on the heating element and oil itself is confirmed. However, excessive quantities of the surfactant have a harmful effect on viscosity, and thus it is strongly recommended to control the addition of the surfactant with great care.

  • In this paper, we present the results of the wear analysis of journal bearings on a stripped-down single-cylinder engine during start-up and coast-down by motoring. We calculate journal bearing wear by using a modified specific wear rate considering the fractional film defect coefficient and load-sharing ratio for the asperity portion of a mixed elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) regime coupled with previously presented graphical data of experimental lifetime linear wear in radial journal bearings. Based on the calculated wear depth, we obtain a new oil film thickness for every crank angle. By examination of the oil film thickness, we determine whether the oil film thickness at the wear scar region is in a mixed lubrication regime by comparing dimensionless oil film thickness, h/σ, to 3.0 at every crank angle. We present the lift-off speed and the crank angles involved with the wear calculation for bearings #1 and #2. The dimensionless oil film thickness, h/σ, illustrates whether the lubrication region between the two surfaces is still within the bounds of the mixed lubrication regime after scarring of the surface by wear. In addition, we present in tables the asperity contact pressure, the real minimum film thickness at the wear scar region, the modified specific wear rate, and the wear angle, α, for bearings #1 & #2. To show the real shape of the oil film at wear scar region, we depict the actual oil film thickness in graphs. We also tabulated the ranges of bearing angles related with wear scar. We present the wear volume for bearings #1 and #2 after one turn-on and turn-off of the engine ignition switch for five kinds of equivalent surface roughness. We show that the accumulated wear volume after a single turn-on and turn-off of an ignition switch normally increases with increasing surface roughness, with a few exceptions.
