유압 피스톤 펌프의 피스톤 마모에 대한 표면경도의 영향 (Effect of surface hardness on piston wear in the oil hydraulic piston pump)

  • Surface hardness is one of the major sources on wear in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump. To increase the performance of the oil hydraulic axial piston pump, it is need to know the surface layer characteristics in the sliding contact parts of them. This paper reports an experimental study on surface treatment characteristics in the piston of the oil hydraulic axial piston pump. We investigated surface wear with not only surface hardness and surface roughness but also material of the piston. We obviously observed that the surface hardness of piston in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump plays an important role to high power density and remain long life.

  • Surface treatment technologies are frequently used to improve mechanical properties of surface layers of machinery components in many practical situations. Surface hardness of piston in the oil hydraulic piston pumps is very important about wear resistance. To improve hardness, wear resistance of the oil hydraulic axial piston pump, it is needed to know the surface layer characteristics in the sliding contact parts. This paper reports an experimental study on surface treatment characteristics in the piston of the oil hydraulic axial piston pump. We investigated the surface wear of a piston between untreated and nitriding-treated surfaces. We obviously observed that the surface hardness of piston in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump plays an important role to have wear resistance and remain a longer life.

  • This paper presents the experimental results of the radial piston type oil pump with new mechanism for a metal diaphragm hydrogen compressor. Generally, metal diaphragm type hydrogen compressor systems are operated by oil hydraulic power. In this system an oil compensating pump has been demanded to compensate for a leakage oil head chamber. The metal diaphragm type hydrogen compressor consists of an oil compensating pump, commonly used hydraulic piston pump and driven by main crank shaft. The radial piston type oil compensating pump with new rolling contacted piston mechanism is developed and experimented. The developed piston element of the radial piston pump consists of piston, steel ball, return spring, two check valves, eccentric cam and ball racer. In this study, designed 4 type pistons as and orifice hole. Operating characteristics and pressure ripple characteristics are tested under no load to 60bar loaded with every 20bar increasing step and pressure ripple and flow rate are experimentally investigated.

  • In this paper, an experiment was carried out to measure the hydrodynamic oil pressure distribution in the clearance gap between a piston and cylinder. The results showed that the pressure distributions are highly affected by the eccentricity of the piston. Therefore present experimental method can be used to enhance the performance of hydraulic piston pumps. Further experimental studies for various operating conditions and improvement in data acquisition methods are required to obtain more accurate results.

  • Oil hydraulic piston pumps are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost etc. An oil hydraulic pump is likely to have serious problems of high leakage, friction and low energy efficiency according to large time use. In the oil hydraulic piston pumps the clearance between the valve block and piston plays an important role for volumetric and overall efficiency. In this paper, the wear property of the SACM645 material used the hydraulic piston pump has been work out by experimentation with variable heat treatment. To investigate the effect according to the piston surface condition, seven different types specimen were prepared. From the wear test results, induction hardening and nitration were definitely superior to the others. On the whole, nitration was estimated for high strength material to wear resistance.

  • The torque efficiency of oil hydraulic pump is an important factor for it's performance characteristics. A study on the performance test method of oil hydraulic pump is based on test standard, but there is to be desired an study for double or tandem type oil hydraulic piston pump. So in this study present a test method on the tandem pump for torque efficiency and analysis method of the results.

  • Dynamic pressure is one of the major sources on noise emission in oil hydraulic piston pump. This paper reports an experimental study of dynamic pressure characteristics in the cylinder bore of oil hydraulic piston pump. We experimently measured dynamic pressure at BDC with delivery pressure, rotational speed and oil temperature. Because the V-grooves at the ends of the kidney ports with three types valve plates. We hope this paper help to design of the valve plate in oil hydraulic piston pump.

  • The design of the valve plate is most important to increase efficiency in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump. A theoretical study was carried out to clarify the pressure characteristics at the land of the valve plate in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump. Dynamic pressure acts on the land of the valve plate was computed numerically with discharge pressure, rotational speed and swash plate angle. Pressure distribution between the valve plate and the cylinder block also was obtained with dynamic pressure. The results are applicable to improve the design technique of the valve plate in the oil hydraulic axial piston pump.

  • Oil hydraulic piston pumps are being extensively used around the world, because of their simple design, light weight, effective cost, etc. An oil hydraulic pump is likely to have the serious problems of high leakage, friction, and low energy efficiency after a long period of use. In an oil hydraulic piston pump, the clearance between the valve block and piston plays an important role for volumetric and overall efficiency. In this study, the wear property of the SACM645 material with DLC coating used for a hydraulic piston pump was determined by experimentation with variable heat treatment. To investigate the effect according to the piston surface condition, five different types of specimens were prepared. The maximum tensile strengths of the QT and QT Nitration specimens had similar values of about 800 MPa, but the strains indicated a big difference. In a wear test, the wear characteristic of the DLC coating specimen was shown to be excellent. The QT, QT + IH, QT + Nitration, and matirx specimen showed similar wear characteristics. In the case of a dry condition without oil, the DLC coating specimen had good wear resistance, with no wear shown.

  • Recently, requirements relating to performance, environment and noise in the oil hydraulic system of the heavy construction equipment have been reinforced continuously. In order to solve these technical trends, studies on the system compactness, operation under high pressure and great rotating speed, electronic control, substitute oil, and noise reduction have been progressed briskly. Among these recent studies, the system operation under high pressure is quite difficult to carry into effect due to mechanical limitations; that is, for realizing the system operation in the hydraulic pump under high pressure, the improvements or innovations on the design techniques, the manufacturing techniques, and the lubrication performance of the working oil are required. Accordingly, in this study, the stress distribution and optimum design factors under the maximum pressure were discussed by using stress analysis on the cylinder block of the hydraulic axial piston pump, which is one of the most important relative sliding regions.
