  • The worldwide coronavirus pandemic has brought to light the importance of having a reliable supply of masks for each person. This study aims to understand the effect of personal awareness (including community, others', and safety awareness) on consumption conformity and the repurchase intention of masks. The research method used the SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical systems to analyze descriptive statistics in terms of reliability, validity, structural equation modeling, and moderated regression analysis. A total of 272 Chinese participants were recruited via an online survey website (www.sojump.com) from May 1 to May 14, 2020. Findings indicated that mask users' awareness can be categorized into three distinct types: community, others', and safety awareness. The more community and safety awareness is perceived, the higher the level of consumption conformity. In contrast, others' has no statistical effect on consumption conformity or repurchase intention. The positive influence of consumption conformity on the repurchase intention of masks is also weaker than price perception. However, another moderating variable, mask quality, has no moderating effect. The results of this study can help mask manufacturers and distributors retain their customers, resulting in reasonable protective measures while maintaining market order. Theoretical and managerial implications for mask suppliers are also provided.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand the important characteristics of mobile content services and to provide better content services to Chinese consumers by understanding consumer behavioral psychology about mobile content services and empirically analyzing research models with perceived usefulness, perceived enjoyment, customer attitudes, and repurchase intentions based on motivation theory. Design/methodology/approach Based on Deci(1975) Self-Determination Theory and Heijden(2004) research model, this study developed a research framework that includes perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment to influence on repurchase intention. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting Chinese consumers using mobile content services, and 272 valid responses were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings According to the results of empirical analysis in this study, Chinese consumers were found to feel repurchase intention by positive impact of perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment in the use of mobile content service. Chinese consumers still use mobile content a lot from a utilitarian perspective in relation to social life or job performance, and there is no positive effect on the use of mobile content related to perceived enjoyment. The results of this study provide the empirical results of a research model that integrates motivation theory and technology acceptance theory for the development of the mobile content industry in the future, and provide necessary insights for managers of companies that develop and distribute mobile content service.

The results of the study were as follows: First, it showed that product characteristics and user satisfaction have significant differences; the ability to recognize economic and psychological user satisfaction differs according to the characteristics of the product. It also showed that the degree of psychological and operating user satisfaction varies according to the convenience of order and payment as well as the convenience of the system and customer service. Second, it was found that economic, psychological and operational user satisfaction had an effect on customer's intention to repurchase. This study, focusing on particular variants of on-line shopping, found that characteristics of product and system had a great impact on user satisfaction and intention to repurchase. For the firms who run internet shopping malls, therefore more attention should be directed to the convenience of products and system problems in their services since it is so easy for customers to move to another shopping site with a simple click. The result of such an investigation may lead customers to repurchase by increasing their satisfaction with the shopping services.

Existing research has focused on the importance of the selection attributes of premium hamburgers. Quality, convenience, experience, and presentation visuals were selected as customer selection attributes. This study analyzed 158 customers who had purchased and tasted premium hamburgers. To verify reliability and validity, a confirmatory factor analysis and discriminant validity analysis were performed, and a path analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling. The results showed that the quality, convenience, experience, and presentation visuals of premium hamburgers had a statistically significant effect on satisfaction. Moreover, satisfaction was verified to have a significant effect on repurchase intention. Customers' preference for premium burgers will continue to increase, thanks to the growth in national income, single-person families, and healthy food wellness. It was empirically proven that the selection attributes of premium burgers have a statistically significant effect on customer satisfaction and that satisfaction significantly affects repurchase intention. This study broadens the research horizon and has practical implications.

Research design, data and methodology: This paper particularly focused on employing the moderating effect with two different market segmentations, namely leisure and corporate purpose travelers, in the Korean market. The total sample size of this research is 363 respondents of the general public in Korea. For the methodology of this research, structural equation modeling (SEM) was utilized for the statistical analysis. Results: It figured out that passenger satisfaction is ultimately the most important among variables of price, service quality and repurchase intention for both groups. On the contrary, the relationships, between price and airline brand in both groups, and between airline brand and repurchase intention in the leisure travel only, were not noted as beneficial effects. • Purpose: This research adopts the SERVQUAL and LSQ frameworks to examine the correlation between return reverse logistics service quality of the JD platform and customer satisfaction, as well as the linkage between consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Research design, data and methodology: A comprehensive literature review on both domestic and international logistics service quality has been conducted. Considering the unique aspects of JD's return reverse logistics services, an evaluation framework with 5 dimensions and 21 indicators is formulated, including communication, information, return process, empathy, and convenience. A conceptual model exploring the influence of JD's reverse logistics service quality on customer repurchase intention is developed, proposing six hypotheses. For this investigation, 358 valid questionnaires were collected, processed, and analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The structural equation modeling was conducted and validated through AMOS 21.0 software. Results: Following a thorough analysis of data, it reveals that: (1) Information quality, return process quality, and empathy significantly enhance customer satisfaction. (2) Customer satisfaction positively impacts repurchase intention. Conclusion: Based on these findings, three strategic recommendations are offered for e-commerce platforms with in-house logistics systems. The research also discusses limitations and future research directions.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to ascertain the influence of individual consumption values and consumption tendencies on repurchase intention. It aims to examine how individual characteristics affect purchasing behavior in response to social environmental changes. Design/Methodology/Approach - This study targeted individuals who have experience purchasing convenience store lunches in Korea and collected 201 survey responses. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Multiple Regression Analysis were employed to analyze the data. Findings - Individual consumption values significantly influenced consumption tendencies. Additionally it was found that both consumption values and consumption tendencies have some significant impact on repurchase intention. However, certain factors had a significant influence specifically in the context of negative relationships, which was analyzed to be influenced by social environmental changes. Research Implications and Limitations - This study verified the clear relationship between consumption values, consumption tendencies, and repurchase intention, such as product purchase. However, it also verified that the relationship of these factors does not necessarily have a strictly positive impact. It suggests that future marketing research should also investigate factors such as the increase of single-person households and social environmental changes.

  • Web 2.0 has affected existing e-commerce and created a new business model of e-commerce, known as social commerce. Social commerce is a subset of e-commerce using social network services and is emerging as an important platform due to increased popularity of social networking services. This study focuses on analyzing the factors that influence the shopping value and intention to repurchase of social commerce users. Based on prior researches, we develop a research model, including individual characteristics of social commerce users (Collectivism, Price Sensitivity, Impulse Buying) and social commerce characteristics (Cost saving, Product Variety, Shopping Convenience). Furthermore, this study proposed the moderating effect of Perceived Security and the relationship between shopping value and intention to repurchase. To empirically validate, the data were collected from 220 social commerce users. The results indicated that individual characteristics (collectivism, price sensitivity, impulse buying) were positively related to hedonic shopping value. In addition, social commerce characteristics (cost saving, shopping convenience) were positively related to utilitarian value. The shopping value(hedonic and utilitarian) had a significant influence on intention to repurchase. The moderating effects of perceived security also was significant. Lastly, the implications for theory and practice are discussed.
