This research aims to analyze and compare the objective and subjective evaluation criteria for home appliances. In addition, this research examined the correlation between those evaluation criteria. Furthermore, consumers are divided by the level of the differences between those criteria; consumer groups whose subjective evaluation level for the quality of home appliances is greater than objective evaluation level, consumer groups whose subjective evaluation level is almost the same, and consumer groups whose subjective evaluation level for the quality of home appliances is lower than objective evaluation level, and this study investigated the differences those three groups by the socio-demographic characteristics and consumers' behavior in the stage of purchase. Results of this research could be summarized as follows. First of all, there were statistically significant between the level of the objective and subjective evaluation in the quality of home appliances. Second, when consumers purchased the expensive home appliance, imported-brand home appliance, home appliances in department store, the level of subjective evaluation level for the quality of home appliances is higher than objective evaluation level. Third, the level of satisfaction for the price, quality, AS, overall satisfaction, and the level of willingness to repurchase were higher in consumer groups whose subjective evaluation level was higher than objective evaluation level.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was two-fold : to describe the level of recognition of nosocomial respiratory infections by ICU nurses and to compare self evaluation and objective evaluation of nosocomial respiratory infection control practices by ICU nurses. Method: Data were collected from 78 nurses in intensive care units in one university affiliated hospital in Kyung Ki Province. Data were collected from March 4 to March 18, 2002. The recognition and self evaluation data were collected through a self report questionnaire and an objective evaluation which was done by observing the actual behavior of the nurses. Result: The results of this study showed that there was a significant positive relationship between recognition scores and self evaluation scores. However, there was no significant relationship between level of recognition and objective evaluation, nor between self evaluation and objective evaluation of infection control Practices by ICU nurses. Conclusion: ICU nurses In this study gave higher scores on self evaluation of their practice than were shown in the observation evaluation of actual practice. Moreover, in the objective evaluation the nurses had the lowest score on the item, 'washing hands before taking care of patients'. The results indicate that it is necessary to develop a standardized practice manual on nosocomial respiratory infection control in the ICU. Also, it is necessary to have a program to transfer knowledge into actual practice.

Nowadays, lots of software that have similar functions is being produced. Hence it is getting more important to select the best and suitable software for each individual or company. Moreover, there are few trustworthy materials regarding to the objective procedure and criteria for the best evaluation of the software quality. To overcome these problems, benchmarking has been carried out. However, benchmarking is also confronting the limit of quality evaluation verification due to the difficult of the objectification of the major test items. To solve these problems, some others try to evaluate the quality of software using objective criteria of evaluation based on ISO/IEC standards. Nevertheless, this method using these defined evaluation items and criteria may result in not very reliable outcome. Therefore, this paper offers the evaluation items reflected in the characteristics of each software in order to prove the validity of the proposed method. Moreover, the objective and quantitative criterion which analyzes and reflects the organization characteristics using AHP methodology is applied to the experiment and performance evaluation. Hence we expect that the proposed method provides the needs of the re-establishment of software quality evaluation criteria and the improvement of process in terms of management.

Since the cut slope has been big concern due to frequent failures, the government decided to include cut slopes in the“Act for Safety Control of Public Structures”. Based on the Act, the cut slope whose height is over 50m and length is over 200m should be inspected on the regular basis. According to the Act, KISTEC developed the objective evaluation method for the condition of cut slope. The evaluation method is divided into two categories: evaluation for damaged condition and evaluation for failure affecting factor. Based on the evaluation results, the cut slope is graded from A to E. In this study, the process to evaluate the cut slope condition and the evaluation criteria to divide the grade of cut slope are introduced.

In this paper, we propose on objective evaluation model of telephone transmission qulity in order to estimate a satisfaction score regarding speech quality in a relephone network. As the degradantion factors of telephone transmission quality, this model takes into account transmission loss, noise, distortion, talker echo and sidetone. A performance index[PI] is introduced for five psychological factors affecting telephone speech qualty, and a Mean Opinion Score(MOS) is estimated from the sum of all Pis. The simulation results indicate theat the MOS obtained from the objective evaluation model is in good agreement with that of subjective evaluation.

This study is a preliminary study to develop an evaluation framework necessary for evaluating the DataON platform. The first objective is to examine expert perceptions of the level of DataON platform construction. The second objective is to evaluate the importance, stability, and usability of DataON platform features over OpenAIRE features. The third objective is to derive weights from the evaluation perspective for future DataON platform evaluation. The fourth objective is to examine the preferences of experts in each evaluation perspective and to derive unbiased evaluation criteria. This study used a survey method for potential stakeholders of the DataON platform. The survey included 12 professionals with at least 10 years of experience in the field. The 57 overall functions and services were measured at 3.1 out of 5 for importance. Stability was -0.07 point and usability was measured as -0.05 point. The 42 features and services scored 3.04 points in importance. Stability was -0.58 points and usability was -0.51 points. In particular, the stability and usability scores of the 42 functions and services provided as of 2018 were higher than the total functions were, which is attributed to the stable and user-friendly improvement after development. In terms of the weight of the evaluation point, the collection quality has the highest weight of 27%. Interface usability is then weighted 22%. Subsequently, service quality is weighted 19%, and finally system performance efficiency and user feedback solicitation are equally weighted 16%.

This paper evaluates thequality of synthesized speech by rule using the LPC CD in the objective measure and then compares the result with the subjective analysis. By evaluating the quality of synthesized speech by rule objectively. We have tried to resolve the problems (Evaluation time or size expansion, variables within the analysis results) that arise when the evaluation is done subjectively. Also by comparing intelligibility-the index for the subjective quality evaluation of synthesized speech by rule-with evaluation results obtained using MOS and the objective evaluation. We have proved the validity of the objective analysis and thus provides a guide that would be useful when R&D and marketing of synthesis by rule method is done.

Objectives: When a person speaks, voice problems usually include pain or discomfort and/or difficulties in terms of the pitch, the loudness and the quality of the voice. When patients with voice problems induced by stroke, Parkinson's disease, and systemic diseases involving the voice are examined, generally, of the Four Diagnoses (四診), a Diagnosis of Hearing can be used in current Korean medicine. The effects of acupuncture and herb medicine on voice problems have been reported for over 20 years. However, when it comes to improvements, objective and subjective evaluation methods need to be explained. Methods: Subjective methods for evaluating voice were studied through a literature search of old medicinal books containing Korean medicine diagnostics, and an objective evaluation method using Praat software is presented. Results: Korean medicine doctors analyze the patient's voice in clinical settings unconsciously on a daily basis. However, most voice diagnoses depend on the doctor's subjective evaluation. Voice qualities can be evaluated by using the Eight Principles (八綱), including Yin-Yang; the Five Elements (Phases); the Grade, Roughness, Breathy, Asthenic, Strained (GRBAS) score, and the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) as subjective methods, and an acoustic analysis using the Praat program can be used as an objective method. Conclusion: A more complete voice examination can be achieved by using subjective and objective methods at the same time. For an objective explanation and management of patient's voice problems or systemic disorders, an objective method should be used in Korean medicine, which already has many subjective diagnostic methods. More research needs to be conducted, and more clinical evidence needs to be collected in the future.

This study is aimed to research the trend of studies on the evaluation of clothing fit using the domestic research journals. clothing fit has long been regarded as the most important element to customers in clothing appearance. Understanding fit from a consumer's perspective is complex. 85 articles were collected from domestic academic sites (KISS, DBpia, KiSTi). Many clothing fit articles published on the 2011-2016 year. In research target, young women were more than other age groups. On the evaluation of clothing fit, method of clothing fit classified survey using the questionnaire and wearing test. Many articles were used the survey using the questionnaire, 57.7%. The other articles were used wearing test with professional analyst and objective evaluation tool. Objective evaluation was used 3D virtual wearing systems (i-designer, DC suit, CLO et al). In the survey using the questionnaire and wearing test using the objective evaluation, jacket and pants were researched on the clothing items mainly. Many young women put on the jacket and pants to active energetically. In the future, researches related clothing fit need to develop the objective and accuracy evaluation tool of clothing fit.

본 연구에서는 모자이크 영상에 대하여 정량적인 품질평가지수에 대한 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 우선, 영상 품질평가를 위해 접합영상의 접합선을 이용한 연속성 평가와 색상을 이용한 유사성(similarity) 및 대비(contrast)를 이용하여 품질평가지수를 산정하였다. 선정된 품질평가 항목을 기반으로 최종적인 품질평가지수를 산정하여 실험자에 의한 주관적 평가와의 비교, 검증을 수행하였다. 그 결과 정량적 품질평가지수가 주관적 평가지수와 유사한 결과를 나타냄으로써 제시한 영상 품질평가지수를 이용하여 제작된 모자이크 영상에 대한 정량적이고 객관적인 모자이크 영상의 품질평가가 가능하다는 것을 보여주었다.
