Bacteriophage P4 ost2 which is the P4 mutant suppressing sir mutations of Bacteriophage P2, was isolated as a plaque-former by plating P4 ash8 sid 71 kmr intS on the lawn of P2 sir3 lysogen. P4 ost2 turned out to be the P4 mutant suppressing sir mutations of P2 in one-step growth experiments.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects of Osung-tang(OST) extract. Methods : MTT assay was performed to confirm the survival rate of RAW 264.7 cells treated with OST extract(50-400㎍/㎖) and the production of NO from LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells was confirmed. The mRNA expression of iNOS, COX-2, and NF-κB were measured by real-time PCR. The protein expression of iNOS, COX-2 and p-IκB were measured by western blot and the anti-oxidant activity of OST extract(50-400㎍/㎖) was investigated by measuring DPPH scavenging activity. Results : OST extract showed a cell survival rate of 90% or more at 50-400㎍/㎖. The NO production was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner in RAW 264.7 cells treated with LPS on OST treated group. mRNA expression levels of iNOS, COX-2 and NF-κB decreased in a concentration-dependent manner after treatment with OST(50-400㎍/㎖). Protein expression levels of iNOS, COX-2 and p-IκB decreased in a concentration-dependent manner after treatment with OST(50-400㎍/㎖). It was found that OST has a high free-radical scavenging ability. Conclusions : These results suggest that OST extract can be used as a treatment for various skin diseases by demonstrating its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects.

Integrated analysis of OST and VST of animation Alladin is carried out in this study. The OST is classified into 4 stages (Introduction, Bridge Passage, Climax, and Ending) and their OST and VST characteristics are found for each step. Especially, high dynamic characteristics of OST elements (sound, tonality, tempo, major range, intensity, and instrumentation) and VST elements (image structure, camera shot, camera movement) are found in the Climax stage. Full Shot is highly used up to 47.9% and this helps to show that the two characters become one in the completion stage of love. This is common factor shown in the previous analysis of OST "Beauty and the Beast". It is also found that specific musical instruments are matched to specific characters in "Beauty and the Beast" and high/low position or up/down movement of the object in the screen are matched to specific musical instruments in 'Alladin'.

최근 TV 드라마의 장르 혼합 현상이 빈번하게 일어나고 있다. 현상의 원인으로 매번 비슷한 소재의 드라마에 익숙해져 버린 시청자들이 새로운 것을 원하게 된 것이다. 2017년 종영한 드라마 "쓸쓸하고 찬란하신(神)-도깨비"의 시청률은 성공적인 드라마로 평가되며, 더불어 그 해 발매된 드라마 OST까지 높은 순위를 기록함으로써 시청률과 드라마 OST의 상관관계에 대한 연구의 필요성을 인지하게 되었다. 연구 결과 첫 번째, 초반부 시청률과 OST 순위는 비례적이지 않다. 두 번째는 시청률이 높아지는 후반부로 갈수록 OST의 삽입 횟수가 증가했다. 마지막으로 드라마 장면에서 갈등의 최고조에 삽입된 곡은 시청률과 사용횟수에 상관없이 높은 순위를 차지했다.

Organic solvent-tolerant (OST) enzymes are widely applied in various industries for their activity and stability in organic solvents, for their higher substrate solubility, and for their greater stero-selectivity. However, the criteria for identifying OST enzymes largely remain undefined. In this study, we compared the amino acid composition of 19 OST esterases with that of 19 non OST esterases. OST esterases have increased the ratio of Ala and Arg residues and decreased the ratio of Asn, Ile, Tyr, Lys, and Phe residues. Based on our amino acid composition analysis, we cloned a carboxylesterase (EstSP2) from a psychrophilic bacterium, Sphingomonas glacialis PAMC 26605, and characterized its recombinant protein. EstSP2 is a substrate specific to p-nitrophenyl acetate and hydrolyzed aspirin, with optimal activity at $40^{\circ}C$; at $4^{\circ}C$, the activity is approximately 50% of its maximum. As expected, EstSP2 showed tolerance in up to 40% concentration of polar organic solvents, including dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, and ethanol. The results of this study suggest that selecting OST esterases based on their amino acid composition could be a novel approach to identifying OST esterases produced from bacterial genomes.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of self-confidence and satisfaction level in teaching home economics between home economics majored teachers(HET) and other subject majored teachers(OST). The subjects of this study were 192 home economics teachers randomly selected from 96 middle schools all over the country. The data was collected from 16, september to 12, October, 1996, and was analyzed with descriptive statistics, crosstables, and t-test using SAS program. The major finding were as follows: 1) In general, home econimics is taught mostly by OST in boy' middle school. 92% of OST is employed in boy' middle school and 89.13% of them is employed in private boy' middle school. 2) OST had less in-service experiences than HET on sixth revised curriculum, and had lower recognition than HET on the goal, content, teaching method, evaluation of home economics. 3) There were significant difference on the level of self-confidence and satisfaction in teaching home economics between HET and OST.

높은 시청률을 기록하여 종영한 드라마는 드라마 자체뿐만 아니라 부가적으로 파생된 상품에서도 그 원인을 찾아볼 수 있다. 그 중에서 드라마에 삽입된 드라마 OST의 역할이 크게 작용하고 있다. 새롭게 한류드라마의 한 획을 근 "별에서 온 그대"에서 다양한 방법의 드라마 OST의 사용방법이 나타났는데 첫 번째로 가창곡보다 BGM의 사용이 많으면서, 삽입된 빈도수는 많고 시간은 짧았다. 두 번째로는 출연배우의 대표작을 활용한 장면연출과 작품에 나온 대표곡을 삽입하였다. 이는 전체적인 BGM 사용 형태를 유지하며 앞서 언급한 OST의 사용이 시청자들에게 드라마를 감상하는 새로운 방법으로 작용할 수 있음을 제시한다.

The OST (Original Sound Track) in the film plays a vital role in increasing consensus and concentration to the storyline. The selected 4 animations are classified into 17 Narrative Processes (NP) by using NP Classification Model [1]. For the NPs each having OSTs, the authors have investigated 6 kinds of objective musical elements of the OST such as sound (speech, music, effect), tonality, tempo, range, intensity, and instrumentation. It is found that there are 33.3% common musical elements among all of them for the NPs with OSTs commonly. Among them, it is also found that there are 71.9% of common properties of the musical element. This research is meaningful by firstly showing that there are common properties of objective musical elements in each NP and the corresponding OST.

Objectives: In recent in vitro study, it was reported that osteostatin (OST) has an odontogenic effect and synergistic effect with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) in human dental pulp cells. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate whether OST has a synergistic effect with MTA on hard tissue formation in vivo. Materials and Methods: Thirty-two maxillary molars of Spraque-Dawley rats were used in this study. An occlusal cavity was prepared and the exposed pulps were randomly divided into 3 groups: group 1 (control; ProRoot MTA), group 2 (OST 100 μM + ProRoot MTA), group 3 (OST 10 mM + ProRoot MTA). Exposed pulps were capped with each material and cavities were restored with resin modified glass ionomer. The animals were sacrificed after 4 weeks. All harvested teeth were scanned with micro-computed tomography (CT). The samples were prepared and hard tissue formation was evaluated histologically. For immunohistochemical analysis, the specimens were sectioned and incubated with primary antibodies against dentin sialoprotein (DSP). Results: In the micro-CT analysis, it is revealed that OST with ProRoot MTA groups showed more mineralized bridge than the control (p < 0.05). In the H&E staining, it is showed that more quantity of the mineralized dentin bridge was formed in the OST with ProRoot MTA group compared to the control (p < 0.05). In all groups, DSP was expressed in newly formed reparative dentin area. Conclusions: OST can be a supplementary pulp capping material when used with MTA to make synergistic effect in hard tissue formation.

The Non-Appropriation Principle was stipulated in the OST and the MA. However the MA, creating CHM in international law for the first time, attempted to further limit the prohibitions to include ownership of resources extracted from celestial bodies, its rejection by the U.S. and most of the international spacefaring community prevented it from serving as a binding international treaty. Individuals or private enterprises intending to perform space exploitation must receive approval from the nation and may not appropriate outer space or celestial bodies. In the course of this space activity, each party will be liable. Articles 6 and 7 of the OST and the Liability Convention of 1972 deal with matters concerning those problems. The CSLCA of 2015 and Luxembourg Space Resources Law of 2017 allows States to provide commercial exploration and use of space resources to their own nationals and to companies operated by other countries within their territory. These laws do not violate Article 2 of the OST. In the case of the CSLCA of 2015, the law clearly states that it cannot claim ownership, sovereignty or jurisdiction over certain celestial bodies. Even if scholars claim that the U.S. CSLCA and Luxembourg Space Resources Law violate the non-appropriation principle of the OST, they cannot prevent these two countries from extracting the space resources on "the first come, first served" basis. The legal status of outer space including the moon and other celestial bodies is res extra commercium, like the high seas, where the fishing vessels from each country catch and sell fish without occupying the sea. Major space-faring nations must push for the adoption of an international regulatory committee which will oversee applications and issue permits based on a set of robust, modern, and forward-thinking ideals that are best equipped to govern and protect outer space as individuals, businesses, and nations compete to commercialize space through mining and the extraction of space-based resources. The new Corpus Juris Spatialis on the development of space resources, whether it is a treaty or a soft law such as recommendation and declaration, in the case of the Moon and Mars, will cover a certain amount of area to develop, and the development period by the states should be specified.
