  • This study proposes an easy method to develope user interfaces for the GIS using OLE automation. In the developing stage of user interface, the most important thing is to make the best use of effective windows programming techniques and component software supporting techniques. Using the OLE automation and Visual Basic programming, the study constructs an user interface as case study which performs map overlaying, referencing attribute tables, graph analysis, drawing up of thematic map.

  • This paper proposes an easy method to develope user interfaces for the GIS using OLE automation.   • 미래의 구조공학 자동화시스템은 Windows NT 운영체제의 저가의 데스크탑 컴퓨터에서 작동하며 객체지행적 CAD를 사용할 것이다. 모든 구조공학 관련 프로그램들은 객체지향 프로그램기법과 병렬처리기술로 재개발될 것이다. 구조공학 관련 소프트웨어프로그램의 통하븐 Microsoft사의 Objected Linking and Embedding(OLe)자동화 기술과 강력한 다중처리, 그리고 Windows NT의 다중연결 서버 기능에 의하여 이루어진다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 Windows NT의 다중연결 서버 기능에 의하여 이루어진다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 Windows NT 운영체제의 데스크탑 컴퓨터에서 구조공학 자동화시스템의 응용현황을 설명하고 미래의 구조공학 자동화 소프트웨어의 개발경향과 전략에 대해 논하게 될 것이다.

  • Recently in connection with the development of network technology, GIS researches shift their focuses to openGIS which enables to share heterogeneous geodata and geoprocessing resource under the environment of LAN and WAN. This study proposes an easy method to develope GUIs which enables openGIS in the intranet environment. In the developing stage of GUI, the most important thing is to develop effective windows programming technique and apply a internet linking technique to developed GUIs. This study shows an internet linking technique and a GUI developing method using OLE automation and ActiveX/COM standards. Using a case study of Taegu City Library, the study constructs a GIS database and develops its GUI which performs map overlaying, referencing attribute tables, drawing up of thematic map, buffer analysis, and statistical calculations. This study remains same further research areas of developing a new advanced technique for openGIS and its GUI using distributed object model of CORBA, Java language, and JDBC data accessing technique.

  • This paper proposes an easy method to develop GUI for the campus facility management. For a case study, the study constructs its GUI which performs map overlaying referencing attribute tables, retrieving by SQL, mapping/displaying of thematic map, and so on.

  • IEC61850에 따르는 디지털 변전소 사업이 한창이다. 그러나 IEC61850을 적용한 변전소가 나오게 되면 기존 SCADA 시스템에서 사용하던 HMI를 지속적으로 사용하기에는 무리가 따른다. 그래서 IEC61850기반으로 통신모듈, 데이터베이스, 사용자 인터페이스 관점에서 HMI의 개선이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IEC61850기반의 변전소 자동화 시스템에서 변전소 내부의 장비 (IED)들을 관리하고 감시하는 Station Level의 HMI와 IED의 위치에서 IED의 상태와 제어 및 상단에 연결되어 다른 IED의 상태를 감시하는 Bay IED HMI의 구성 방법을 제안한다. 각각의 필요한 통신 프로토콜과 모듈, 컴퓨터 프로세스 통신을 사용하기 위한 OPC(OLE for Process Control), 외부에서도 관리, 감시, 제어가 가능하게 하기 위한 Web Service기능을 구현하였다.

  • In this paper, we discuss the development of an integrated HMI system based on OPC(OLE for Process Control) to control and monitor an automation equipment in the diverse environment. We implement an embedded OPC server according to the OPC standard which is proposed as the communication standard mechanism in the process control field, and design the interface module in which the output data of the OPC server can be connected to various HMI environment such as the local application, intranet client and Web page. This paper will be contributed in the HMI system implementation for the ubiquitous environment because it is possible to make remote control on the network and Web monitoring as well as the connection and data exchange of heterogeneous equipments by applying to various control systems.
