현대약품(대표 윤창현)은 지난 1965년 출범되어 지금까지도 국민들의 꾸준한 사랑을 받으며 잘 알려진 '현대물파스'로 시작한 의약품 전문기업이다. 현대약품은 47년의 지속적인 성장과 함께 현재 처방의약품은 물론, 일반의약품과 같은 의약품 사업과 기능성 식품, 기능성 음료 등의 건강기능식품, 그리고 의료기기에 이르기까지 국민건강증진을 위한 종합기업으로 성장하였다. 현대약품은 보다 체계화된 제품 안전성을 갖추는데 주력하기 위해, 전국 각 공장과 사업장에서 ISO9001, ISO14001, KOHSA18001, OHSAS18001 등의 인증을 획득, 제품의 안전성, 안정성과 제품 생산 표준화 등이 이루어지는 각종 기반을 마련하였다. 이를 통해 2008년 제약업계 최초 국가품질경영대회 제품안전경영 대통령상을 수상하는 영예도 얻게 되었다. 중앙연구소는 1984년도 설립되었으며 2009년 1월에는 경기바이오센터 합성신약연구소를 개소, 2011년 5월에는 용인에 신약 연구소를 준공하여 신약 및 개량신약 개발에 주력하고 있다. 현재까지도 지속적인 연구개발 및 기술 혁신 중심으로 21세기 첨단 의약품 생산에 필요한 다양한 연구에 매진하고 있다. 현대약품은 우수한 연구진과 최첨단 연구시설 확보를 통해 펩타이드 치료약물을 개발 생산하였다. 이어 이 기술을 바탕으로 기존의 거대시장 fmoc-아미노산을 대체하게 될 차세대 신물질로서 고체상 펩타이드 합성(solid phase peptide synthesis)의 원료물질인 Nsc-아미노산을 개발하였다. 전 사원 1년에 1일 이상의 봉사 활동을 의무적으로 실시하고 있으며 공장 직원 스스로 조직된 봉사 단체 두레회는 불우한 이웃의 시설을 유지, 보수하고 정이 그리운 어린이들과 함께 놀아주는 이웃들과 함께하는 작은 봉사 단체이다. 현대약품은 앞으로도 R&D투자를 활성화하여 우수의약품 개발에 전력을 다하고, 국민보건 향상에 책임을 완수하는 성실한 기업이 될 것이다.

This paper defines the Safety Management System(SMS) based on the rail safety act and surveys the status of the English rail SMS and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) SMS and OHSAS18001 SMS. Through the investigation of establishment and implementation status of domestic rail operators' SMS, the improvement directions of the current rail SMS are developed. First, to establish the continual improvement system for SMS, the guide which describe detailed continual improvement method for each steps of SMS including management review by CEO shall be established and implemented. Second, to settle the SMS based on the risk management, it is necessary to endeavor for converting the rail operators mind and to establish the supply system of operating model and basic data and to define the requirement precisely and to include in the related guide for the risk management.

As the number of the company to acquire the certifications of ISO 9001/1400, OHSAS 18001(not official standard) is increasing, it is needed to construct a integrated business management system for the efficient application of the certifications. In this circumstances the integrated construction of the SHE & Q system so called, for Safety, Health, Environment and Qualify can take a part for the communication in the customer, the company convenience and the interested parties(the worker. the supplier and the provider). In case that each certification systems are integrated, the problems of the redundancy in the management processes and the conflicting demands are able to be solved and the efficiency of the restricted management resources fan be raised as the complexity of the redundancies in the certification management is simplified. This paper deals with the integrated strategies, its convenience and its expecting merit and demerit for the efficient application of the certification parties haying the various characters.

스테코(주)는 삼성의 최첨단 반도체 조립기술과 일본 TORAY의 베이스필름 기술의 전략적 제휴로, 1995년 설립된 LCD 구동 IC제조업체다. 응용제품으로 노트북PC, LCD, PDP TV, LCD모니터, 핸드폰 등의 액정 판넬을 구동시키는 반도체를 제조하고 있으며, LDI제품 Package 전문반도체 회사로는 세계 최고의 생산성과 기술력을 보유하고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다. 이곳은 18년의 LDI Package경험, 지속적인 연구개발 노력, 그리고 최고 수준의 품질로 비메모리 반도체 제품 분야에서는 전례를 찾기 힘든 경영성과를 달성했다. 2007년과 2008년에 국가생산성대상을 수상한 것이 이를 뒷받침한다. 이러한 기업성장의 원동력은 안전보건에서 찾을 수 있다. 2008년 산업보건 우수사례발표대회 금상, 2010년 무재해사업장 우수사례발표대회 은상, 2009년에는 제8회 대한민국안전대상에서 행정안전부장과의 영예를 안았다. 또한 그 시기 OHSAS18001 및 ISO 14001 인증도 취득하고, 최근에는 무재해 10배수라는 대기록을 달성하면서 명실상부한 최고의 아전기업을 자리 잡게 됐다. 이렇듯 스테코(주)는 빠른 시간 안에 기업반전과 안전보건이라는 두 마리 토끼를 모두 잡으면서 지역 산업현장의 모범이 되고 있는 사업장이다. 스테코(주)를 찾아가 기업발전의 토대가 되고 있는 안전보건활동이 어떻게 이뤄지고 있는지 살펴봤다.

Mixed acid is very reactive and highly corrosive. it has been causing many accidents in a electronic industry, a steel industry, and a chemical industry. Therefore, it is required that the high safety level for the acid storage facilities. In this study, we investigated the accident causes for resent leak accidents with Root Cause Analysis (RCA). The root causes analysed by RCA were categorized as nine divisions by the their characteristics. Furthermore, each nine divisions causes was applied to the PDCA model which are using at OHSAS 18001. It is suggested that the nine division with the root causes can be the essential items for the development of the safety management manual. It is helpful to the safety improvement of the acid storage facility.

Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a broad field of professional practice, which involves specialists from different disciplines including but not limited to engineers, occupational health physicians, physical and biological scientists, economists, and statisticians. The preventive systems required to ensure workers are protected from injuries and illnesses dwell heavily on engineers; however, the extent to which the engineer can go regarding planning and implementing preventive measures is dependent on specific legal requirements, leadership commitment from the company, organization, and nation. The objective of this paper is to identify the areas of opportunities for improvements in OHS management in Ghana with regard to the nation's legal requirements, commitment of the Ghana government, and Ghanaian leadership as well as appropriate structuring of Ghanaian institutions responsible for monitoring and managing OHS in Ghana. This paper identified Ghana's fragmented legal requirements concerning OHS, which are under different jurisdictions with unclear responsibilities and accountabilities. The paper also highlights the training needs of Ghanaian academic institutions regarding OHS. Among other recommendations made including structuring of Ghanaian institutions to manage OHS in line with the ILO-OSH 2001, this paper aligns the recommendations with the articles and elements of International Labour Organization convention number 155 and OHSAS 18001 elements.

Recently the assurance of railroad safety is very important issue in KOREA because there are lots of changes in the railroad industries. The Railway Safety Act was established in order to cope with these changes effectively and prevent the railroad transportation accidents. According to this law, Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) has been entrusted with 'Integrated Railroad Safety Audit (IRSA)' and has implemented the safety audit to the railroad operation agencies such as Korea Railroad (KORAIL) and the railroad facility management organization such as the Korea Rail Network Authority (KR Network). The target of IRSA is to establish the effective rail safety management system and to raise the safety level of the railroad operation and facility agencies by checking synthetically their performance of safety duties with sincerity according to the Railway Safety Act. The purpose of this paper is to improve the efficiency of IRSA by the comparative research between IRSA and other similar safety audit system. To study the efficiency of IRSA, we investigated the rail safety audit systems of EU system specially France, England where the big changes have happened for the rail operation concepts and Japan where government entity control the railroad safety. The international standards of Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001), Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing (ISO 19011) are investigated.

오랫동안 많은 이들에게 지속적인 사랑을 받아온 제품을 열거하기란 생각보다 쉽지 않다. 산업구조의 급변에 따라 일상생활에도 많은 변화가 찾아오기 때문이다. 각종 전자제품에서 '스마트'란 수식어가 붙은 것이 얼마 되지 않았다는 것이 대표적인 예라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 이런 중에도 소비자들이 꾸준하게 애용하는 제품이 있다. 도브, 럭스, 폰즈, 바세린, 립톤 등이 바로 그것이다. 이러한 제품을 생산 판매하는 기업이 오늘의 주인공인 유니레버코리아(주)다. 1985년 합작회사로 국내에 처음 진출한 유니레버코리아(주)는 1993년 도약의 기틀을 마련하게 된다. 세계적 수준의 생산설비를 갖춘 대전공장을 설립하게 된 것이다. 이후 이곳에서는 샴푸류, 비누류, 화장품을 비롯한 생활용품과 아이스티 식품류를 제조해 나가면서 한국시장 진출에 성공하게 된다. 그야말로 기업 성장의 선봉장 역할을 톡톡히 수행한 것이다. 그렇다면 무엇이 이런 힘을 이끌어 냈을까. 유니레버코리아(주) 대전공장 관계자들은 그 중심에 안전이 자리 잡고 있다고 강조한다. OHSAS 18001(안전보건경영시스템), ISO 14001(환경경영시스템), ISO 9002(품질경영시스템) 인증 취득을 통해 관리체계를 확고히 한 가운데 경영진들의 높은 안전의식을 바탕으로 빈틈없는 안전관리를 해나갔다는 것이다. 이를 통해 근로자의 안전을 확보하면서 소비자들에게 사랑받는 제품을 생산했다는 설명이다. 구체적으로 이곳 안전관리가 어떻게 펼쳐지고 있는지 찾아가 봤다.

This research is mainly aimed at finding out about the effects of the safety and health management system on corporate performance through systematic operation by efficiently allocating material and human resources within the company by participating all employees and stakeholders in order to prevent and maintain industrial accidents and the optimal working environment, and how to maintain and activate the safety and health management system at the center of electric contractors.The analysis results are as follows. First, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on the management capability of the electric power corporation. It was assessed that the more well-transmitted and understood within the organization, the better the construction plan, the better the equipment management status, the more positively the management capability of electric works was to be achieved. Second, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on corporate management performance.This seems to have a positive effect on a company's business performance when the standards of OHSAS are met with construction plan and construction equipment management are high as related information such as industrial safety and health laws are strengthened and companies' safety and health activities, advanced safety and culture are released to facilitate organizational management.Third, the management ability of the electric power corporation will have a mediated effect on the effect of management, organization management and resource preparation on the performance of the enterprise. This means that the direct effect of the independent variable management organization on corporate management performance is .401 The indirect effect is .168.658 shows that the direct effect of resource preparation on corporate management performance is .423, the indirect effect is .178 and the total effect.It was analyzed at 643.
