A Study on the Effects of O2O Commerce Characteristics and Consumer Characteristics on Trust, Desire and Intention to Use in China (중국 O2O 커머스 특성과 소비자 특성이 신뢰, 욕구 및 이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship among three characteristics of O2O commerce and extended goal-directed behavior(EGB) model(trust, desire and intention to use). From June to July in 2015, the questionnaires were sent to Chinese customers using O2O commerce. Among 494 questionnaires gathered, 433 valid ones are analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. Among ten research hypotheses derived from prior research and the research model, eight hypotheses are tenable, while the rest hypotheses are untenable. Online features of mobility and Offline features of service quality. The Online features of mobility bring consumers convenience but also has some latent customer privacy issue. On other hand, because of the untenable hypothesis, there is inconformity between online service and offline service, and customer have distrust on the O2O commerce. To achieve continuous online consumption, offline businesses need to improve their service. The perceived quality of selling company exerts a significant effect on the customers' reliability for the brand equity of open market company and selling company, such as the brand awareness of the open market, open market image, brand awareness of selling company, and the perceived quality of selling company. Thus, selling company should improve self-brand service and quality in order to improve customers' reliability. In addition, the consumer characteristics of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control are all tenable. These results mean that O2O commerce is a favorite way of consumption by Chinese consumers.

The Influence of Social Commerce's O2O Service Characteristics on Consumers' Social Psychological Perception (소셜커머스의 O2O 서비스 특성이 소비자의 사회심리적 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • O2O services, a form of mobile commerce, are increasing due to the widespread use of smartphones and the rational consumption trend of young consumers. In addition, the introduction of Social Commerce's O2O service has transformed customer experience into innovation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of O2O service characteristics and social commerce provider characteristics on the social commerce 's O2O service as a social psychological image that consumers have at the point of purchase and use time, as a smart shopper feeling and a cheapness shopper feeling. And the relationship between consumer satisfaction and intention to use through Structure Equation Modeling, and to suggest the implications for O2O service management that can provide greater satisfaction to consumers by identifying the process of creating satisfaction of O2O service. The results of the study show that price discounts and scarcity of social commerce's O2O service characteristics have shown that it increases smart shopper feeling. Also, it was confirmed that brand awareness and ease of purchase, which are characteristics of social commerce, confirms the increase of cheapness shopper feeling. We also confirmed the effect of smart shopper feeling and cheapness shopper feeling on satisfaction. This satisfaction has a positive effect on the intention to use. The result of this study is that it is necessary to reduce the cheapness shopper feeling of consumers and to emphasize the price discount and scarcity so that the smart shopper feeling occurs in order to satisfy the consumers who purchase O2O service products.

A Study on the Influence of Telephone Apprehension Affecting Continuous Use Intention of Mobile O2O Commerce (모바일 O2O 커머스 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 전화 불안감에 관한 연구)

  • The avoidance tendency of voice call in younger generation facilitates the growth of mobile O2O service that utilizes Messaging. This study adopted and elaborated original concepts of telephone apprehension to apply phone anxiety to O2O. We examined previous researches related to the ubiquity of service quality, communication ability and anxiety, and then conducted a survey to understand the consciousness of mobile O2O service users. The results show that users with high message intimacy and users with poor logicality are afraid of voice calls. The mobile O2O service is considered useful as a means to replace an unstable situation. In this study, we considered individual characteristics of acceptance factor of O2O mobile service technology, and it was a new attempt to expand telephone apprehension characteristic reflecting current situation. In addition, the different results of this research from prior studies that examined the relationships among apprehension, usefulness, and continuous use intentions might be helpful to expand and sophisticate the research area.
