The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of experience and effect the learner - centered team - based learning (tbl)method has on pre - nursing learner's nursing English course. Participants were 12 preliminary nursing learner, it was analyzed through learning result recording, study observation, learning satisfaction, learner's report, peer evaluation. And described the meaning of the learning experience, individual and team scores were analyzed using frequency analysis, paired-t test. The results showed that the score of each team was higher than the score of individual in both. The tbl experience has been a form of intimacy with colleagues, a motivation for learning, self-study, easy to learn the medical terminology felt through repeated learning, to improve their score by having them secondary group test and they remembered it as a pleasant learning time.
The purpose of this study was to find out the long-term effects of the self-help program through the follow-up with peer group meetings of arthritis patients. In order to fulfil the purposes, the follow-up program with peer group meetings was developed by researchers with consisting of monthly health contract, group discussion, group counseling, recreation, and exercise. This program was carried out 2-3 hours once in a month for 5 months (1999-2000) and evaluated in a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. The subjects were 34 patients of experimental group and 24 of control group. The measurement tools of this study are pain rating scale(Lee & Song), KHAQ(Bae), rating scale of fatigue, and goniometer. The results of this study revealed no significant differences on number of pain site, fatigue, physical functioning, flexibility of the shoulder joints, and level of the extension of the knee joints between experimental group and control group. Whileas pain reaction of the control group was significantly high. However, the peers expressed very much their satisfaction and appreciations with the follow-up program with Peer group meetings. Actually, they wanted to have this peer group meeting continuously. This results suggested that the follow-up program with peer group meeting could be recommended as good nursing intervention to help the arthritis patients after having the Self Help Program in the community setting.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing depression of participants in the National Supporting Program for Infertile Couples (NSPI) who received a treatment of IVF (in vitro fertilization) or IUI (intra-uterine insemination). Methods: Using the 2013 NSPI Satisfaction On-line Survey data, secondary data analyses were conducted on 830 cases of IVF and 706 cases of IUI. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ${\chi}^2$ test, and logistic regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Logistic regression analysis showed that non-pregnancy status (OR=3.05), unexplained infertility (OR=4.29), relationship trouble with spouse (OR=3.57), and relationship trouble with the in-law family (OR=2.78) were significant factors predicting the depression level in the IUI treatment group. Non-pregnancy status (OR=5.28), childlessness (OR=1.92), financial support helpful hardly or not at all (OR=2.63), relationship trouble with spouse (OR=3.28), relationship trouble with the in-law family (OR=2.83), and unemployment (OR=1.60) were significant factors in the IVF treatment group. Conclusion: To reduce infertile women's depression, adequate attention and care need to be paid to these psychological symptoms. It is suggested to develop counseling and couple-therapy along with methods to enhance social support (including that from the in-law's family).
This study aims at examining relationships between body mass index and perceived body shape and image. Using a purposive sampling method, 404 female college students were recruited from three universities located in Busan from April 2000 to June 2000. To classify the levels of obesity, Broca's method was used. Secord & Jourard's Body Cathexis Scale(1953) modified by Kim mi ok(1997) was also used to measure body image. The collected data were analyzed with the percentages, Mean, Standard deviation, T-test, and Pearson correlation Coefficient. The results of this study were as follows. 1. 56.4 % of subjects were under weight, and 42.1% were normal for BMI. 2. 55.9% of subjects were very satisfied with their body shape and 15.1% were satisfied. 3. The mean values of perceived body shape according to the BMI were 3.0 for the overweight group, 2.65 for the normal weight group, and 2.21 for the low weight group, the mean differences among three groups were significantly satisfied (F= 21.42, P= .000). 4. The mean scores of body image according to the BMI was 160.21 for low weight group, 155.57 for the normal weight group, and 140.0 for overweight group. The mean differences among the three groups were not significantly satisfied. 5. The mean scores of body image according to perceived body shape were 17819 for the satisfaction group, 161.08 for the moderate group and 150.82 for dissatisfied group. The mean differences among the three groups were significantly satisfied (F= 35.72, P=. 000). 6. There were high positive correlations between BMI and perceived body shape(r= .317) and between perceived body shape and body image (r=- .415).
The researcher would like to suggest that the delivery experience varies depending on the personal situation and the childbirth experiences of the mother. The goals of this study are : 1. To find out the subjectivity structure on delivery experience. 2. To describe the differences in delivery experience depending on the delivery methods. 3. To suggest effective nursing intervention for each type. Q-methodology was used for the research design. One of the main reasons to use this Q methodology. Because each individual's delivery experience can be different. The result of this study shows that the subjectivity related to the delivery experience of mother has at least four distinctive types. Type I mothers can be named as "Motherhood Identity Recognition Type". Type I subjects accept delivery experience very positively, show interest in the health of the baby, and identify their motherliness with responsibility. Type II mothers can be named "Leaping to Maturity Type". It can be explained as a state that mothers experience pain, but by understanding and enduring the pain, the pain is changed to maturity. Type III mothers can be named as "Pride Experience Type". Type III feels vaginal delivery as a process to become a real mothers, and have great pride in making this type of significant emotiange delivery. Therefore, they think the labor pain is worth the value and believes that there are other differences between vaginal delivery and cesarean section. Mothers of Type III take the delivery experience to be meaningful. Type IV mothers can be named as "Lack of Motherhood Transition Type". This type does not seem to feel sorry for their babies for going through a cesarean section delivery. The also do not have the satisfaction of delivery and motherliness identity is low. In addition, they especially do not feel affection towards their babies. Also, because they delivered babies in a state of anesthetics, they do not seem to feel much different, but show negative reactions toward themselves.ow negative reactions toward themselves.
This study was descriptive survey research. The main purpose of this study is to examine the daily activity of hospitalized children from two month years old to twelve years old and to identify needs or responses of mother who has hospitalized children. The subjects for the study were 179 mothers who have hospitalized children at pediatric ward two hospitals attached to a university in Seoul. The data was collected by two researchers and two assistants using structured open questionnaire for interview. The data was analyzed by using SPSS/PC. The results of the study were as follows ; 1. The daily activity of hospitalized children was mainly play activity except for treatment or nursing activity. It was limited activity at sickbed and various according to developmental stage of children. 2. The common responses of mothers on intravenous injection. blood sampling and fretful children were heartache. crying. empathy and guilty feeling. 3. The responses of mothers on disease progress were comfort. aspiration. anxiety. gloominess. critique and a serene state of mind. 4. The responses of mothers on medical personnel were kindness. carefulness. comfort. satisfaction. calmness and unkindness. 5. The responses of mothers on another hospitalized children were mainly empathy and sympathy. 6. The responses of mothers on patient clothes were comfort and deny. 7. The responses of mothers on residence with child were comfort. inevitable duty. laborious. exhaust. annoyance and worried about another family member. 8. The requirements of mothers were mainly convenience facility and play place. The results of this study indicate that hospital life were indifferent growth and development of children. Nurses need to identify hospitalized children and mothers have hospital adjustment problems and intervene as soon as possible to promote normal growth and development of theses children.

This study examined the factors influencing the happiness of employees of the SME manufacturing industry. Data were collected from 139 employees using structured questionnaires, and were analyzed by a t-test, one way-ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS/WIN Ver 18.0 program. In general characteristics, happiness was significantly associated with age, level of education, religion, monthly income, monthly income satisfaction, position in the working area, and way of working. Happiness was positively correlated with self-esteem and perception of interpersonal caring behavior, and was negatively correlated with job stress. The factors influencing happiness was self-esteem and perception of interpersonal caring behavior, which explained 46.6%. Self-esteem and the perception of interpersonal caring behavior should be considered for improving the happiness of employees. The results will form the basis of nursing interventions to increase employees' happiness in the SME manufacturing industry.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to describe the status and associated factors of mental health on girls' high school students. Methods: The participants were 446 academic girls' high school students and 240 vocational girls' high school students of the 1st graders in Busan. The data were collected from April 28, 2009 to May 30, 2009. Survey was developed in the form of self-report five-point likert scale(1-5) using Lees Instrument of mental health(1986) that revised from Derogatis et al's Symptom Check List-90(1976). The higher score of this scale means worse status of mental health. Result: The score of mental health of subjects was low and the mean was $1.69{\pm}.50.$ The depression mean was the highest among mental health sub-variables. The mental health of the vocational girls' high school students was worse than the academics. As for subjects in mental health by their various characteristics, there are significant by school type(p<0.001), economic status(p<0.001), father's job(p<0.001), parent's marrital status(p<0.001), cognitive health status(p<0.001), record(p<0.05), character(p<0.001), satisfaction of life(p<0.001), needs for help on mental health(p<0.001). Conclusion: The intervention program needs to improve mental health of vocational high school girls' students as well as academic high school girls' students, and need to establish depression relieving nursing intervention program for girls' high school students.

This study examined the factors predicting internet game addiction in higher grade elementary school students according to gender in two cities. The participants were 300 elementary school students who were in the $4^{th}$, $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grades. Data was collected by structured questionnaires from April 1 to June 15 2013, and analyzed using SPSS WIN 14.0. The scores of internet game addiction for elementary school students were 28.82 and 24.61 for boys and girls, respectively. The adjustment to school life predicted internet game addiction in 14% of boys. The adjustment to school life and satisfaction with school life predicted internet game addiction in 15% of girls. The factors affecting highly effective intervention techniques need to be applied to the development of programs to prevent Internet game addiction in elementary school students in the $4^{th}$, $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grades.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of internal-external control, difficulties in emotion regulation, and clinical practice stress among college nursing students. The study was conducted, based on a sample of 220 students at one college and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis. As a result of correlation analysis, there were significant positive correlation in difficulty of emotion regulation score and clinical practice stress score according to external control score. Factors affecting on clinical practice stress were locus of control, difficulties in emotion regulation, college satisfaction, grade, and religion having explanation rate of 17%. Therefore, to decrease clinical stress among nursing students, Nursing students should be considered the emotion regulation with external control disposition. The results can contribute as a basic data in developing education strategies and clinical adjustment programs for regulating clinical stress with emotion management and adaptation on clinical environment.
