간호대학생의 간호사이미지와 전공만족도가 진로정체감에 미치는 융복합적 영향 (The Convergent effect of Nurses' Image and Major satisfaction on Career Identity of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들의 간호사이미지와 전공만족도가 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 B시 소재 K대학의 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호학생 117명의 설문을 수집하여 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 진로정체감 정도의 차이는 학년과 학과선택 동기에 따라 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 간호사이미지 및 전공만족도와 진로정체감의 상관관계는 모두 양의 상관관계로 나타났다. 셋째 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 전공만족도의 하위요인인 교수 학생간의 관계만족으로 나타났고, 간호사이미지는 진로정체감에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 따라서 간호대학생의 진로정체감을 향상시키기 위해서는 간호대학생들의 전공만족도의 하위요인인 교수 학생간의 관계만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 중재방안이나 교육마련이 필요하다고 사료되며, 교수 학생간의 원활한 의사소통 및 진로지도가 잘 이루어질 수 있도록 지속적인 관심과 지도가 필요하다고 판단된다.

초등학생과 중학생의 간호사에 대한 이미지 비교 (Nurse Image Perceived by Elementary and Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the image of nurse perceives by students of elementary and middle schools in Seoul, Korea. Methods: The data were collected through questionnaire survey on 860 students. The survey was performed during May to Jun. 2003. The nurse image was analyzed through the instrument conceived by Il-Sim, Yang(1998) on the basis of four dimensions; traditional, social, professional and personal. The collected data analyzed using SPSS 11.0 with frequency, mean, standard deviation and t-test. Results: The results of this study were as follows. 1. There was a significant difference in the nurse's image between elementary and middle school students(p=.000), and the elementary students had more positive image. 2. The nurse's image of elementary school students had more positive than middle school students in traditional(p=.000), social(p=.000), professional(p=.000) and personal dimension(p=.015). In elementary school students, score of nurse's image was the highest in personal dimension, followed by traditional, professional and social in order. In middle school students, score of nurse's image was the highest in personal dimension, followed by professional, traditional and social in order. 3. The difference of nurse's image not showed statistical significance in sex, religion, experience of hospitalization(self), experience of hospitalization (family), nurses in family by general characteristics. Conclusion: As a result, elementary school student had more positive nurse's image than middle school student in all the aspects. But as they grow old, it changed negative. It is required to develop public information or education fit with student's age to image making by broadcasting and to improve the image nurses themselves.

노인요양시설 간호사의 실무 경험 (Nurses' Experience of Practice in Nursing Homes)

  • Purpose: This article aimed to identify nurses' experience of practice in nursing homes. Method: Using phenomenological approach for qualitative research, the participants were 8 nurses who were working at nursing homse in C city. The data was analyzed by using phenomenological methodology by Colaizzi. Results: Five theme clusters were derived from the data. They were: burden (independent decision making in clinical situations, tension of as a multifunctional member); lowered self-esteem (exhaustion, relative self-evaluation is low, comparing with others); conflict (negative image of elderly, communication break with elderly family, monitoring of nursing home staff); worth (slight improvement of elderly health state, trust and recognition, intimacy); and self-reflection (need for knowledge extension, effort towards enhancing virtue, perception of importance in their health management). Conclusion: The results showed that nursing home nurses experienced negative aspects of various nursing practice, suggesting the ways to solve their negative experience.

병원의 윤리풍토가 간호사의 인게이지먼트와 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Ethical Climate for Nurse's Engagement and Intend to quit)

  • 본 연구는 병원의 윤리풍토와 간호사의 인게이지먼트(직무몰입과 조직몰입), 그리고 이직의도 사이의 관계를 실증적으로 밝혔다는 점에서 간호사뿐만 아니라 병원측면에 여러 가지 유용성과 시사점을 갖는다. 연구결과, 책임주의와 자선주의형 윤리풍토에 대한 간호사들의 지각이 직무몰입과 조직몰입을 높이고 이직의도를 낮추는데 영향을 미치고 있다. 내부적으로는 공평성과 책임이 따르는 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 유도함으로써 병원과 간호사간의 공유된 가치를 형성하게 될 것이고 대외적으로는 좋은 병원의 이미지를 형성하는 요인이 될 것이다. 반면, 이기주의와 같은 윤리성이 결여된 풍토는 간호사들의 직무태도에 매우 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 병원은 윤리풍토의 중요성과 효과성을 인식하고 경영자를 포함한 간호사 개인차원에서의 윤리의식을 강조할 뿐만 아니라 조직 차원에서도 간호사들이 자연스럽게 윤리적인 행동을 취할 수 있도록 윤리적인 병원풍토를 조성하는데 전략적인 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.

COVID-19 이후 보건계열과 비보건계열 대학생의 대중매체 이미지와 전공만족도가 간호사 이미지에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Media Image and Major Satisfaction on Nurse Image of Health and Non-health Students after COVID-19)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 이후 보건계열과 비보건계열 대학생의 간호사의 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구는 수도권 4개 대학의 보건계열 133명과 비보건계열 123명의 대학생을 대상으로 2021년 11월 15일부터 2021년 11년 28일까지 수집하였다. 본 자료는 SPSS 22.0 Program 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 일반적 특성 중 보건계열 대학생의 1학년 여부가 간호사이미지에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다(t=2.82, p=.006). 대학생의 간호사이미지는 보건계열과 비보건계열 모두 대중매체 이미지, 전공만족도와 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 보건계열 대학생은 대중매체 이미지, 전공만족도, 1학년 여부가 간호사 이미지에 영향을 미치고(F=40.42, p<.001) 비보건계열 대학생은 대중매체 이미지만 간호사 이미지에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(F=20.13, p<.001). 간호사 이미지의 제고를 위해 뉴미디어를 통한 대중매체와의 접촉을 강화하고 이에 대한 지속적인 관심을 가지고 체계적으로 접근하는 것이 필요하다.

예절교육 자가평가 (The Effects of Service Education for Improvement of Nursing Image)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect of service education that would improve the image of nursing as a qualified nurse. This study was designed one group pretest-posttest design. The sample was consisted of 274 nurses who was all of the nurses participated in the education of service. The education was provided during eight hours a day each group. The program of the education was devided eight sections and each section had it's own individual teacher. The member of each group was consisted of about twenty-five nurses. The questionnaire was developed by researchers and was applied two times just at the preeducation and two weeks after the education. The criteria of the developed questionnaire was consisted of two aspects, one was recognizant aspect of service and the other was behavioral aspect of service. The reliability of the questionnaire was Chronbach's $\alpha$=0.778. The questionnaire was exammed collected in the morning when the education of the service was started and two weeks after the education. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired T-test, Pearson's correlations. The result of the study are as follows : 1. There was a significant difference in the aspect of recognition of service between pre and post self-evaluation. 2. There was no significant difference in the aspect of behavior service between pre and post self-evaluation. 3. There was a significant difference in the aspect of total sense, score between pre & post self-evaluation. 4. There was a significant correlation between clinical experience and aspect of recognition of service. The positive correlation was shown in the longer clinical experience between nurse's role and service. But there was not a statistically significant correlation between clinical experience and aspect of behavior of service. Through the result it can be concluded that the education of service was needed to improve image of nursing as a practical and basic factor for the nurses, even though the education was not directly related to the nures's professional knowledge and skills.
