  • While there are many services that can check current traffic condition and application program such as bus arrival alarm are developed, since it only provide simple alarm and check level of information, it is still insufficient in many senses. Therefore, the program that try to develop in this study is the system that predict arrival time to destination and inform the bus passengers by applying real time traffic information. The system developed related to this study is still very inadequate. In the system developed in this thesis, when the user input the current bus number and destination using smart-phone, relevant server acquire the bus route information from bus information DB, and analyze real time traffic information based on the information from traffic information DB, and inform customer of expected arrival time to destination. In this thesis, traffic congestion can be eased off and regular operation of public transportation can be improved with reliable destination arrival alarm. Also, it is considered that pattern of bus users can be analyzed by using these information, and analyzing average transport speed and time of public transportation, travel time depending on various situation can give a boost to study related to transportation information and its development.

  • When the COVID-19 crisis hit air transport, the whole aviation industry was affected. The change in the behavior of passengers following the COVID-19 crisis, travel restrictions and the ensuing economic crisis have resulted in a dramatic drop in demand for airline services. The COVID-19 pandemic, with all its associated consequences, has had a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of pilots, which could impact operational safety. As the number of international flights has decreased, pilots are exposed to high levels of psychological stress such as job instability, reduced income and increased risk of infection during flight work. Psychological stress lowers work performance and threatens aviation safety. The pilot needs mental health management during the COVID-19 pandemic, but psychological support is weak. For pilot mental health management, it is important to raise awareness about mental health and to continuously respond. To this end, it is necessary to foster a safe and trustworthy culture in which mental health issues are discussed freely and solved together without hiding them. They should also support the establishment of a peer support program that is easily accessible and that allows pilots to discuss their issues with confidence.

  • Seoul Metro Line 1 to 4 guests per day to 4.5 million people have been using the subway. This is close to the city population, 57 percent of people use the subway and found that 57 percent of people use the subway and found that this is close to the city population. Motor vehicle indoor air quality, especially of the major factors affecting is passenger's clothing, cosmetics, adhesives and formaldehyde by the action and so are able to keep. Enclosure 30ppm formaldehyde during prolonged exposure at concentrations above the nose, bronchial cough and a burning can cause symptoms. It is necessary to introduce an appropriate ventilation system. 1-4 Line Press in 2008, leaving the subway, and normally the train measured in room air quality. Measurements in 2005, $19.3{\sim}83{\mu}g/m^3$, 2008 Year ND ~ $61.7{\mu}g/m^3$ is. When congestion(rush hour) to temporarily increase the formaldehyde can result in a higher number. Automatic detection of formaldehyde and improve ventilation to a practical system, and it is necessary to chatneun. In research since 2006, Removal of formaldehyde were analyzed for the study. the passengers on the effects of formaldehyde in rush hour, the plan for increasing the ventilation through the analysis of various factors, such as electric vehicle practical ways to improve air quality have been studied.

  • Recently, the number of automotive electrical and electronic system has been increased because the requirements for the convenience and safety of the drivers and passengers are raised. In most cases, the data for controlling the various sensors and automotive electrical and electronic system used in runtime should be stored on the internal or external non-volatile memory of the ECU(Electronic Control Units). However, the non-volatile memory has a constraint with write limitation due to the hardware characteristics. The limitation causes fatal accidents or unexpected results if the non-volatile memory is not managed. In this paper, we propose a management scheme for using non-volatile memory to prolong the writing times based on AUTOSAR(AUTOmotive Open System Architecture) platform. Our proposal is implemented on the CDD(Complex Device Driver) and uses an algorithm which swaps a frequently modified block for a least modified block. Through the development of the prototype, the proposed scheme extends the lifetime of non-volatile memory about 1.08 to 2.48 times than simply using the AUTOSAR standard.

  • The Purpose of this study is to analyze telecommunications impacts on travel in a comprehensive system, considering demand, supply, costs, and land use. This study first Presents a conceptual model, considering causal relationships among travel, telecommunications, land use, economic activity, and socio-demographics. Then, based on the conceptual model, the aggregate causal relationships between telecommunications (local telephone calls, toll calls, and mobile phone subscribers) and travel (vehicle-miles traveled and number of transit Passengers) are explored in a comprehensive framework, using structural equation modeling of national time series data spanning 1950-2000 in the U.S. The model results suggest that as telecommunications demand increases, travel demand increases, and vice versa. Additionally. transportation infrastructure and land use significantly affect travel demand.

  • The safety step has been developed to ensure the passengers' safety including the disabled and the weak by eliminating gap between vehicle and platform. The type of safety step is divided according to the position that the safety step is installed. The type of safety step attached platform is the rubber type that is previously attached to a platform. The installed rubber can reduces the gap between vehicle and platform by a fixed distance. If the safety step is installed on the vehicle, it is possible to respond to the various platform typed such as straight or curved form. It is also flexible to the height of riding depends on number of passenger and platform conditions and does not require crew's additional operation. We have been developed vehicle attached safety step for advanced electric multiple unit. We hope to increase the use of safety step for the disabled and the weak to expand the convenience use of railway transportation system.

  • This research is to find out the method appropriate for the forecasting of passennger demand using seasonal ARIMA model and efficient operation in Jeju National Airport. Time series monthly data for the investigation were collected ranging from January 2003 to December 2011. A total of 108 observations were used for data analysis. Research findings showed that the multiplicative seasonal ARIMA(0.1.2)(0.1.1)12 model is appropriate model. The number of passengers in Jeju National Airport will continue to rise, it was expected to surpass 20 million people.

  • Demand for air travel, which shrank sharply following the outbreak of the COVID-19, has recently recovered up to 80% before the spreading pandemic. As a result, the number of passengers are rapidly increasing again. However, financial difficulties and lack of skilled workers in the aftermath of a long-term recession and pandemic lead to a decrease in aviation safety awareness which is fundamental for safety culture. Consequently, this hazard can act as a potential risk factor for the global aviation industry preparing for a new leap forward in the post-pandemic era. Therefore, this study analyzed and defined the four key elements of aviation safety awareness; attitude, belief, perception, and value. Based on this analysis, this study combined the four key elements into the P-D-C-A cycle to derive what top management, middle managers, and workers should each do to continuously improve the positive safety culture.

  • Redundant handovers cause degraded quality of service to passengers in vehicle. This paper proposes a handover scheme suitable for users traveling in vehicles, which enables continuous learning of the handover process using a discrete-time Markov chain (DTMC). Through AdaBoost machine learning algorithm, the proposed handover scheme avoids unnecessary handover trials when a short dwell time in a target cell is expected or when the target cell is an intermediate cell through which the vehicle quickly passes. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces the number of handover occurrences and maintains adequate throughput.

  • Since the opening of KTX, the number of people coming to KTX stations to use KTX has steadily increased. Passengers have a variety of access modes between a KTX station and their origin/destination. But there is no way to confirm the level of connection strength. So this study examines various connection characteristic variables that can show the connectivity, and examines influencing relationships, and chooses variables that affect connectivity by using a KTX modal split. We will suggest connectivity estimation models between a KTX station and origin/destination based on the selected connected variables.
