압전세라믹 액추에이터를 이용한 익형 후류 제어 (Control of Flow around an Airfoil Using Piezo-ceramic Actuators)

  • The objective of this study is to increase lift and decrease drag of an airfoil by delaying flow separation with piezo-ceramic actuators. The airfoil used is NACA 0012 and the chord length is 30cm. An experiment is performed at the freestream velocity of 15m/s at which the Reynolds number is $3{\times}10^5$. Seven rectangular actuators are attached to the airfoil surface and move up and down based on the electric signal. At the attack angle of $16^{\circ}$, the separation point is delayed downstream due to momentum addition induced by the movement of the actuators. Drag and lift are measured using an in-house 2-dimensional load cell and the surface pressures are also measured. Lift is increased by 10%, drag is reduced by 50%, and the efficiency is increased to 170%. The flow fields with and without control are visualized using the smoke-wire and tuft techniques.

  • Based on the 4-compartmental pharmacokinetic model developed in PART1, target-controlled infusion(TCI) pump system was designed and evaluated. The TCI system consists of digital board including microcontroller and digital signal process(DSP), analog board, motor-driven actuator, user friendly interface, power management and controller. It provides two modes according to the drugs: plasma target concentration and effect target concentration. Anaesthetist controls the depth of anaesthesia for patients by adjusting the required concentration to maintain both plasma and effect site in drug concentration. The data estimated in DSP include infusion rate, initial load dose, and rotation number of motor encoder. During TCI operation, plasma concentration. effect site concentration, awaken concentration, context-sensitive decrement time and system error information are displayed in real time. Li-ion battery guarantees above 2 hours without power line failure. For high reliability of the system, two microprocessors were used to perform independent functions for both pharmacokinetic algorithm and motor control strategy.

  • A number of dust particles are intruded into ODD(Optical disk drive) due to the flow caused by disk rotation and are adhered to a lens or disk surface. The space between the disk and the lens is being reduced. Someone indicates the problems of this drive that are relatively small data storing capacity and slow access time. In recent, the problems of this optical disk drive mentioned above are being solved by adding the speed of the disk's revolution, making the actuator high-speed or light, and making the beam spot size smaller than making the space narrow between disk and lens. These particle contamination affects seriously RF Signal, readout signal in an ODD. Especially, the affected parts by a particle contamination in an ODD's readout signal are objective lens and media.

  • 본 논문에서는 레이저 다이오드, 포토 다이오드, 그레이팅 렌즈, 빔 스프릿터가 반도체 공정으로 직접화된 홀로그램 레이저 다이오드와 4 와이어 부동형 엑츄에이터를 이용하여, 시장성이 풍부한 일반 오디오용 광학 픽업을 설계하였다. 또한, 이러한 홀로그램 레이저 다이오드의 특성을 이용하여 초간편 광학계를 구현하므로서, 기존외 제품 대비 조립성과 생산성을 향상시키고, 취부 부품의 수를 줄이고 형상을 단순화하였다.

Satellite Fault Detection and Isolation Scheme with Modified Adaptive Fading EKF

  • This paper presents a modified adaptive fading EKF (AFEKF) for sensor fault detection and isolation in the satellite. Also, the fault detection and isolation (FDI) scheme is developed in three phases. In the first phase, the AFEKF is modified to increase sensor fault detection performance. The sensor fault detection and sensor selection method are proposed. In the second phase, the IMM filer with scalar penalty is designed to detect wherever actuator faults occur. In the third phase of the FDI scheme, the sub-IMM filter is designed to identify the fault type which is either the total or partial fault. An important feature of the proposed FDI scheme can decrease the number of filters for detecting sensor fault. Also, the proposed scheme can classify fault detection and isolation as well as fault type identification.

  • The aging society comes, the number of the old people expended. Technical aids allow elderly and handicapped people to live independently in their private homes as long as they wish. As a contribution to these required technological solutions, a demonstrator platform for a walking assistance robot. robot which has the capability to perform fetch and carry and various other supporting tasks. In this study, we addresses the development of a walking assistance robot system. We execute static analysis, vibration analysis and flexible dynamics to reserve stability at the design. Each motion of the robot uses a linear actuator and gears. Motion can be distinguished into 3 parts depending on the up & down, rotation, and cushion trans. In each motion, we compare the displacement of the case to be rigid with the case to be flexible. As a result, manufactured and feasibility of the walking assistance robot is validated through preliminary experiments.

  • Optimal design of serial connected PZT driven micro compressor was investigated. Modeling equations were derived using energy equation and mass conservation equation. The results show that mass flow rate was increased as number of connected micro compresses is increased. As pressure difference between suction port and discharge port in compressor group is increased, connected compressors have much more mass flow rate than single compressor. Mass flow rate is also increased as driving frequency is increased. And optimal design scale is suggested for highest efficiency or highest mass flow rate.

  • Traditional control systems that consist of sensors, actuators and a controller centralized and connected with point-to-point links, have become distributed because of their performance limits and maintenance problems. Sensors and actuators are changed to smart devices having a processor and these devices and controllers are connected with fieldbuses such as Profibus, FIP, CAN, LonWorks and so on. Because they are distributed, it takes any delay to transmit data from sensor to controller and data from controller to actuator according to network characteristic.   • 호흡에 의한 체내 장기의 불수의적 움직임은 방사선 치료 및 진단의 결과에 큰 영향을 주는 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 호흡에 따른 장기 또는 종양의 움직임을 모사하기 위한 움직임 팬텀을 제작하고 다양한 호흡모사 조건에서 18F-FDG PET 스캔 영상을 획득하여 호흡에 따른 종양의 움직임 범위와 종양의 크기에 따른 인공물의 수준 및 표준섭취계수 최대값(maximum standardized uptake value, SUVmax)를 분석하였다. 운영체계로 윈도우 CE(Windows CE) 6.0 기반으로 전동액추에이터, 전동액추에이터 포지셔닝 드라이버, PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)을 이용한 위치 및 속도 조절 모듈은 이동거리 0-5 cm와 왕복이동 10회, 15회, 20회에서 정상적으로 동작하였다. 지연시간 100분에서 구의 지름 10, 13, 17, 22, 28, 37mm일 때 각각 80.4, 99.5, 107.9, 113.1, 128.0, 124.8%로 측정되었다. 이동거리가 같을 때 호흡수에 따른 차이는 미미하였다. 호흡수를 20회 하고 이동거리를 1 cm, 2 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm일 때 구의 지름이 10, 13, 17, 22, 28, 37 mm에서 이동거리가 길어질수록 구의 크기가 작은 것 부터영상의 구분 능력이 저하되었다. 정지영상에 비하여 이동거리를 5 cm로 하였을 때, 표준섭취계수의 최대값은 구의 지름이 10, 13, 17, 22, 28, 37 mm에서 각각 18.0%, 23.7%, 29.3%, 38.4%, 49.0%, 67.4%이었다.

  • 얇은 패널에서 음향 정보를 전달하기 위해서 단일 지점을 가진하는 방법은 패널 자체의 진동 특성의 영향으로 방사되는 음장에 영향을 끼치게 된다. 기존의 패널 자체를 방사체로 활용 하고자 하는 스피커 시스템은 단일 또는 스테레오 사운드 제공 목적으로 음원이 되도록 하는 패널 특정 위치에 부착된 가진기를 이용하게 된다. 이렇게 방사하는 음향은 판이 갖는 모달 특성으로 인해 쉽게 왜곡될 수 있어 충분한 음향 파워를 갖거나 높은 방사효율을 기대하기 어렵다. 또한, 몰입감 높은 음장을 구현하기 위해서 한정된 가진기를 이용하는데 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 얇은 패널에 고정적으로 부착된 가진기를 이용하여, 패널 임의의 위치에서 음향이 방사되도록 진동-음향 역문제적 기법을 이용하여 진동장을 제어하도록 스피커 영역을 렌더링하여 제어하는 기법에 대해 다루었다. 국소화된 스피커 영역을 패널에서 생성하여 음원의 위치를 변화 시킬 수 있도록 하고, 가지기의 배치와 구현 가능한 스피커 영역의 위치 간 관계를 모사실험을 통해 제어 결과를 비교 및 검토하였다.
