메타버스 디지털 플랫폼의 메이크업 기능 제안 - 제페토를 중심으로 - (Proposal of Makeup's Function on the Metaverse Digital Platform - Focusing on Zepeto -)

  • With the popularization of 5G networks and the development of AI (artificial intelligence) technology, Metaverse, which creates production capacity by combining virtual space and reality, is attracting attention. In this study, we searched for makeup applications with more than 100 million downloads from October 11, 2020 to November 3, 2020 through the Google Play Store. As a result of the search, four applications were found: YouCam Makeup, YouCam Perfect, Beauty Plus, and Sweet Snap. Based on the functions provided by the four applications, we attempted to suggest makeup functions applicable to Zepeto's avatar. Functions for the eyes (eyeliner, eyelashes, mascara, eye shadow, eye shape, eyebrow shape, lenses, double eyelids), functions for the nose (nose shape), functions for the mouth (lipstick, lip shape, smile function) ) Functions corresponding to the facial contour (contour, skin foundation, blusher, shading, highlighter, face painting, theme makeup) and functions corresponding to the body (body adjustment) were proposed. This study is the first in the beauty field to propose a method of applying the functions of the Metaverse platform as the importance of digital platforms is highlighted, and is the first to propose a makeup function applied to the Metaverse so that it can be used as important basic data in the future.

홀극음원 모델링을 이용한 고속전철 터널 충격성 소음해석 (Tunnel Sonic Boom Analysis using monopole source modeling)

  • When a high-speed train enters a tunnel, a compression wave is generated. This wave subsequently emerges from the exit portal of the tunnel, which causes an impulsive noise called 'Sonic boom' or 'micro-pressure wave'. In the present study, new method is presented for prediction of sonic boom noise, especially focusing on the effect of the nose shape of the train on the resultant noise. Acoustic theory for monopole source is used to represent a nose shape of the train in wave equation. Compression wave propagation in tunnel considering tunnel track condition and emission of sonic boom was calculated. The predicted compression waves and impulsive sound waves are compared with recent measurements, and show reasonable agreements.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to establish anatomical dimension of the nose and nostril shape in Korean twenties. Methods: Authors measured anthropometry of nose in Korean youths 1,000 individuals (male 363, female 637) and analyzed stastically them. Results: The mean measurements are as follows. 1. The shape of nostrils was classified into 7 types by the angle between both long axis of nostril (male / female). Type I ($<40^{\circ}$)1.7% / 1.72%, Type II ($41-70^{\circ}$) 26.17% / 29.35%, Type III ($71-100^{\circ}$) 39.94% / 38.77%, Type IV (unclassified) 3.85% / 5.80%, Type V ($101-130^{\circ}$) 20.93% / 17.89%, Type VI ($131-180^{\circ}$) 7.43% / 5.96%, Type VII ($>180^{\circ}$) 0% / 0.47% 2. 연골피부 이개전방 유리피판 및 혈관 간치이식술을 이용한 코재건례 (Nasal Reconstruction with Chondrocutaneous Preauricular Free Flap and Interpositional Vascular Graft: A Case Report)

  • Purpose: Reconstruction of a full thickness defect of the nose is a difficult task for plastic surgeons because the anatomical characteristic, shape, and function of the nose all need to be taken into consideration. Most often, a local flap or a composite graft is used, but for a large defect, reconstruction using free flaps is the most ideal method. In free flap reconstruction, the chondrocutaneous preauricular area can be a suitable donor site. We performed a chondrocutaneous preauricular free flap with an interpositional vascular graft for reconstruction of a nasal ala. Methods: A 46 year-old male presented to the hospital with a right alar deformity induced by a dog bite. During the surgery, the existing scar tissue was removed and thereby a newly formed full thickness defect was reconstructed using the chondrocutaneous preauricular free flap with an interpositional vascular graft harvested from the descending branch of the lateral femoral circumflex vessel between the facial and superficial temporal vessels of the free flap. Results: The flap survived without flap loss and showed symmetry in its overall shape, contour, texture, and color. The patient was satisfied with the results and the surgery yielded no additional scars at the nasolabial fold area. Conclusion: The chondrocutaneous preauricular free flap is a valuable method in reconstruction of full thickness defects of the nose, and using the descending branch of the lateral femoral circumflex vessel as the interpositional vascular graft at the anastomotic site produces reliable results.

고속열차 전두부 및 팬터그래프 공력성능 향상기술 연구 (Study on the Aerodynamic Advancements of the Nose and Pantograph of a High-Speed Train)

  • 최근 세계 각국의 고속열차들은 속도 향상 측면에서 비약적인 발전을 보이고 있으며, 국내에서도 2007년부터 '차세대 고속철도 기술개발 사업'을 통해 최고속도 400km/h급의 고속열차 개발을 진행 중에 있다. 고속열차의 주행속도가 증가함에 따라 이전에는 제기되지 않았던 공기저항, 공력소음 문제, 열차의 교행 및 측풍에 의해 발생하는 압력변동, 터널출구에서 발생하는 미기압파 등의 문제들이 대두되고 있으며 이와 같은 문제들은 열차의 고속화를 제약하는 요인이 된다. 특히, 고속열차의 전두부 형상은 이러한 공기역학적 문제들과 밀접하게 연결되어 있으며, 팬터그래프의 소음 및 안정적인 집전 성능 확보 등도 속도 향상을 위해 반드시 고려해야하는 사항이다. 본 논문에서는 고속열차의 속도향상 노력의 일환으로 진행되고 있는 '공력해석 향상 기술'의 연구 내용과 더불어, 터널 미기압파 저감을 위한 전두부 형상 최적화 결과와 팬터그래프 공력성능 향상을 위한 강건 최적화 결과를 소개한다.

절삭날을 고려한 절삭가공면의 기계적 성질에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical States of Machined Surface by Considering Cutting Edge)

  • Cutting edge plays an important role in generating machined surface. In order to consider the geometric effects of the cutting edge on mechanical states, the concept of ploughing force and stagnation point was introduced which explains the generating mechanism of machined surface during cutting. The effects of edge radius and nose radius of cutting tool on the distribution of residual stresses of the machined surface having several hardness were studied. Good machined surface having high compressive residual surface stresses can be achieved if cutting tools having large edge radius and small nose radius are used for cutting work materials having high hardness with high depth of cut. The magnitude of edge radius and the hardness of work material also affected the shape of the chip in orthogonal cutting.

Behaviour of GFRP composite plate under ballistic impact: experimental and FE analyses

  • In this paper, experimental as well as numerical analysis of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) laminated composite has been presented under ballistic impact with varying projectile nose shapes (conical, ogival and spherical) and incidence velocities. The experimental impact tests on GFRP composite plate reinforced with woven glass fiber ($0^{\circ}/90^{\circ}$)s are performed by using pneumatic gun. A three dimensional finite element model is developed in AUTODYN hydro code to validate the experimental results and to study the ballistic perforation characteristic of the target with different parametric variations. The influence of projectile nose shapes, plate thickness and incidence velocity on the variation of residual velocity, ballistic limit, contact force-time histories, energy absorption, damage pattern and damage area in the composite target have been studied. The material characterization of GFRP composite is carried out as required for the progressive damage analysis of composite. The numerical results from the present FE model in terms of residual velocity, absorbed energy, damage pattern and damage area are having close agreement with the results from the experimental impact tests.

Multifactorial Approaches for Correction of the Drooping Tip of a Long Nose in East Asians

  • A long nose with a drooping tip is a major aesthetic problem. It creates a negative and aged appearance and looks worse when smiling. In order to rectify this problem, the underlying anatomical causes should be understood and corrected simultaneously to optimize surgical outcomes. The causes of a drooping tip of a long nose are generally classified into two mechanisms. Static causes usually result from malposition and incorrect innate shape of the nasal structure: the nasal septum, upper and lower lateral cartilages, and the ligaments in between. The dynamic causes result from the facial expression muscles, the depressor septi nasi muscle, and the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi muscle. The depressor septi nasi depresses the nasal tip and the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi pulls the alar base upwards. Many surgical methods have been introduced, but partial approaches to correct such deformities generally do not satisfy East Asians, making the problem more challenging to surgeons. Typically, East Asians have thick nasal tip soft tissue and skin, and a depressed columella and alar bases. The authors suggest that multifactorial approaches to static and dynamic factors along with ancillary causes should be considered for correcting the drooping tip of the long noses of East Asians.

Comparison of Commercial Multi-use Mask Patterns for Korean Adult Women

  • 본 연구는 성인 여성의 얼굴 유형에 적합한 마스크 패턴 개발을 위하여 시판되고 있는 다회용 마스크 패턴을 비교·분석하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 마스크 패턴 개발 및 생산업체에 필요한 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 시판 다회용 마스크 패턴의 치수 및 형태를 비교한 결과, 성인용으로 제작된 L사이즈 마스크임에도 불구하고 치수에 있어서 큰 차이를 나타냈다. 가상착의에 대한 외관평가 결과 정면의 앞중심선의 수직, 마스크의 윗부분 감쌈과 여유, 코높이, 마스크 아랫부분의 감쌈과 여유에서 디자인별로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 측면도 얼굴 옆부분의 감쌈, 옆부분의 여유, 끈 간격과 길이에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 외관평가 결과, 마스크4가 가장 좋은 평가를 받았다. 마스크 패턴의 형태는 코 아랫부분에 크게 다트가 있어 얼굴의 입체적인 형태를 커버할 수 있도록 되어 있으나 마스크에 따라 곡선의 정도와 각도에 차이를 나타냈다. 마스크 상부와 마스크 하부, 볼 부분은 밀착되지만, 코와 입 부분에는 여유가 있는 마스크 패턴의 평가가 높았다. 마스크 패턴은 얼굴형 및 치수에 대한 분석을 통해 마스크 상부길이와 하부길이, 코 높이에 따른 마스크 다트량의 설정이 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

전산유체역학을 이용한 유도무기 선두부 절단 비율에 대한 공력해석 (Aerodynamic Analysis Based on the Truncation Ratio of Guided-Weapon Nose Using CFD)

  • 본 논문에서는 유도무기의 선두부 형상 절단 비율에 따라서 달라지는 공력특성에 대해 전산유체역학을 이용하여 분석하였다. 해석을 수행하는 형상은 유도무기 동체만 있으며 직경대 길이비는 10.7이다. 선두부 형상은 세 가지를 선택했으며 구형, 25% 절단, 50% 절단형을 비교하였다. 유도무기 동체의 정확한 해석을 위해서 NASA의 풍동시험 데이터를 이용하여 격자 구성법과 해석 기법을 선택하고 검증하였다. 선두부 세 가지 형상에 대해서 비행마하수에 대해 항력을 분석한 결과 절단과 구형이 6~20% 정도 차이 났으며, 동체의 선두부와 기저부의 압력분포를 통해 특성을 분석하였다.
